‘‘Dasahi , bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato yathābhataṃ nikkhitto evaṃ niraye. Katamehi dasahi? Pāṇātipātī hoti, adinnādāyī hoti, kāmesumicchācārī hoti, musāvādī hoti, pisuṇavāco hoti, pharusavāco hoti, samphappalāpī hoti, abhijjhālu hoti, byāpannacitto hoti, micchādiṭṭhiko hoti – imehi kho, bhikkhave, dasahi dhammehi samannāgato yathābhataṃ nikkhitto evaṃ niraye.
「诸比库,具足十法者,如被搬运般投入地狱。哪十种?杀生者,不与取者,欲邪行者,妄语者,两舌者,粗恶语者,杂秽语者,贪婪者,嗔恨心者,邪见者——诸比库,具足这十法者,如被搬运般投入地狱。
‘‘Dasahi , bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato yathābhataṃ nikkhitto evaṃ sagge. Katamehi dasahi? 「诸比库,具足十法者,如被搬运般投入天界。哪十种?离杀生者,离不与取者,离欲邪行者,离妄语者,离两舌者,离粗恶语者,离杂秽语者,不贪婪者,无嗔恨心者,正见者——诸比库,具足这十法者,如被搬运般投入天界。」

‘‘Dasahi , bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato idhekacco kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjati…pe… idhekacco kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapajjati. Vīsatiyā, bhikkhave…pe… tiṃsāya, bhikkhave,…pe… cattārīsāya, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato idhekacco kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjati…pe… idhekacco kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapajjati’’.
「诸比库!具足十法者,这里某人身坏命终后投生到苦界、恶趣、堕处、地狱……这里某人身坏命终后投生到善趣、天界。诸比库!具足二十法者……诸比库!具足三十法者……诸比库!具足四十法者,这里某人身坏命终后投生到苦界、恶趣、堕处、地狱……这里某人身坏命终后投生到善趣、天界。」
