‘‘Yo so, bhikkhave, bhikkhu akkosakaparibhāsako ariyūpavādī sabrahmacārīnaṃ, tassa pañca ādīnavā pāṭikaṅkhā. Katame pañca? Pārājiko vā hoti chinnaparipantho , aññataraṃ vā saṃkiliṭṭhaṃ āpattiṃ āpajjati, bāḷhaṃ vā rogātaṅkaṃ phusati, sammūḷho kālaṃ karoti, kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjati. Yo so, bhikkhave, bhikkhu akkosakaparibhāsako ariyūpavādī sabrahmacārīnaṃ, tassa ime pañca ādīnavā pāṭikaṅkhā’’ti. Paṭhamaṃ.
「诸比库!那位辱骂、诽谤、诋毁圣者的梵行同伴的比库,应当预期有五种过患。哪五种呢?他犯巴拉基咖而被断绝关系,或者他犯某种染污的罪,或者他遭受严重的疾病,或者他迷乱而死,或者身坏命终后,他投生到苦界、恶趣、堕处、地狱。诸比库!那位辱骂、诽谤、诋毁圣者的梵行同伴的比库,应当预期有这五种过患。」第一。
2. Bhaṇḍanakārakasuttaṃ2. 诤论者经

‘‘Yo so, bhikkhave, bhikkhu bhaṇḍanakārako kalahakārako vivādakārako bhassakārako saṅghe adhikaraṇakārako, tassa pañca ādīnavā pāṭikaṅkhā. Katame pañca? Anadhigataṃ nādhigacchati, adhigatā parihāyati, pāpako kittisaddo abbhuggacchati, sammūḷho kālaṃ karoti, kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjati. Yo so, bhikkhave, bhikkhu bhaṇḍanakārako kalahakārako vivādakārako bhassakārako saṅghe adhikaraṇakārako, tassa ime pañca ādīnavā pāṭikaṅkhā’’ti. Dutiyaṃ.
「诸比库!那位在僧团中制造争论、制造争吵、制造诤论、制造喧哗、制造诤事的比库,应当预期有五种过患。哪五种呢?未证得的不能证得,已证得的退失,恶名声传播开来,迷乱而死,身坏命终后,他投生到苦界、恶趣、堕处、地狱。诸比库!那位在僧团中制造争论、制造争吵、制造诤论、制造喧哗、制造诤事的比库,应当预期有这五种过患。」第二。

‘‘Pañcime , bhikkhave, ādīnavā dussīlassa sīlavipattiyā. Katame pañca? Idha, bhikkhave, dussīlo sīlavipanno pamādādhikaraṇaṃ mahatiṃ bhogajāniṃ nigacchati. Ayaṃ, bhikkhave, paṭhamo ādīnavo dussīlassa sīlavipattiyā.
「诸比库!破戒者、戒失坏者有这五种过患。哪五种呢?诸比库!在此,破戒者、戒失坏者因放逸之因而遭受大财富的损失。诸比库!这是破戒者、戒失坏者的第一种过患。
‘‘Puna caparaṃ, bhikkhave, dussīlassa sīlavipannassa pāpako kittisaddo abbhuggacchati. Ayaṃ, bhikkhave, dutiyo ādīnavo dussīlassa sīlavipattiyā.
「再者,诸比库!破戒者、戒失坏者的恶名声传播开来。诸比库!这是破戒者、戒失坏者的第二种过患。
‘‘Puna caparaṃ, bhikkhave, dussīlo sīlavipanno yaññadeva parisaṃ upasaṅkamati – yadi khattiyaparisaṃ, yadi brāhmaṇaparisaṃ, yadi gahapatiparisaṃ, yadi samaṇaparisaṃ – avisārado upasaṅkamati maṅkubhūto. Ayaṃ, bhikkhave, tatiyo ādīnavo dussīlassa sīlavipattiyā.
「再者,诸比库!破戒者、戒失坏者无论走近哪一种众会——或刹帝利众会,或婆罗门众会,或居士众会,或沙门众会——他都无自信地走近,心怀羞愧。诸比库!这是破戒者、戒失坏者的第三种过患。
‘‘Puna caparaṃ, bhikkhave, dussīlo sīlavipanno sammūḷho kālaṃ karoti. Ayaṃ, bhikkhave, catuttho ādīnavo dussīlassa sīlavipattiyā.
「再者,诸比库!破戒者、戒失坏者迷乱而死。诸比库!这是破戒者、戒失坏者的第四种过患。
‘‘Puna caparaṃ, bhikkhave, dussīlo sīlavipanno kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjati. Ayaṃ, bhikkhave, pañcamo ādīnavo dussīlassa sīlavipattiyā. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ādīnavā dussīlassa sīlavipattiyā.
「再者,诸比库!破戒者、戒失坏者身坏命终后,投生到苦界、恶趣、堕处、地狱。诸比库!这是破戒者、戒失坏者的第五种过患。诸比库!这些是破戒者、戒失坏者的五种过患。
‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ānisaṃsā sīlavato sīlasampadāya. Katame pañca? Idha, bhikkhave, sīlavā sīlasampanno appamādādhikaraṇaṃ mahantaṃ bhogakkhandhaṃ adhigacchati. Ayaṃ, bhikkhave, paṭhamo ānisaṃso sīlavato sīlasampadāya.
「诸比库!持戒者、戒具足者有这五种功德利益。哪五种呢?诸比库!在此,持戒者、戒具足者因不放逸之因而获得大财富聚。诸比库!这是持戒者、戒具足者的第一种功德利益。
‘‘Puna caparaṃ, bhikkhave, sīlavato sīlasampannassa kalyāṇo kittisaddo abbhuggacchati. Ayaṃ, bhikkhave, dutiyo ānisaṃso sīlavato sīlasampadāya.
「再者,诸比库,具戒、戒具足者,善名声传扬开来。诸比库,这是具戒者戒具足的第二种利益。
‘‘Puna caparaṃ, bhikkhave, sīlavā sīlasampanno yaññadeva parisaṃ upasaṅkamati – yadi khattiyaparisaṃ, yadi brāhmaṇaparisaṃ , yadi gahapatiparisaṃ, yadi samaṇaparisaṃ – visārado upasaṅkamati amaṅkubhūto. Ayaṃ bhikkhave, tatiyo ānisaṃso sīlavato sīlasampadāya.
「再者,诸比库,具戒、戒具足者,无论前往任何集会——或刹帝利集会、或婆罗门集会、或居士集会、或沙门集会——他都自信地前往,不怯懦。诸比库,这是具戒者戒具足的第三种利益。
‘‘Puna caparaṃ, bhikkhave, sīlavā sīlasampanno asammūḷho kālaṃ karoti. Ayaṃ, bhikkhave, catuttho ānisaṃso sīlavato sīlasampadāya.
「再者,诸比库,具戒、戒具足者,不迷乱地死去。诸比库,这是具戒者戒具足的第四种利益。
‘‘Puna caparaṃ, bhikkhave, sīlavā sīlasampanno kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapajjati. Ayaṃ, bhikkhave, pañcamo ānisaṃso sīlavato sīlasampadāya. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ānisaṃsā sīlavato sīlasampadāyā’’ti. Tatiyaṃ.
「再者,诸比库,具戒、戒具足者,身坏命终后,投生到善趣、天界。诸比库,这是具戒者戒具足的第五种利益。诸比库,这些是具戒者戒具足的五种利益。」第三经。
4. Bahubhāṇisuttaṃ4. 多言经

‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ādīnavā bahubhāṇismiṃ puggale. Katame pañca? Musā bhaṇati, pisuṇaṃ bhaṇati, pharusaṃ bhaṇati, samphappalāpaṃ bhaṇati, kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjati. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ādīnavā bahubhāṇismiṃ puggale.
「诸比库,多言之人有这五种过患。哪五种?他说妄语、说两舌、说粗恶语、说杂秽语,身坏命终后,投生到苦界、恶趣、堕处、地狱。诸比库,这些是多言之人的五种过患。
‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ānisaṃsā mantabhāṇismiṃ puggale. Katame pañca? Na musā bhaṇati, na pisuṇaṃ bhaṇati, na pharusaṃ bhaṇati, na samphappalāpaṃ bhaṇati, kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapajjati. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ānisaṃsā mantabhāṇismiṃ puggale’’ti. Catutthaṃ.
「诸比库,审慎而言之人有这五种利益。哪五种?他不说妄语、不说两舌、不说粗恶语、不说杂秽语,身坏命终后,投生到善趣、天界。诸比库,这些是审慎而言之人的五种利益。」第四经。
5. Paṭhamaakkhantisuttaṃ5. 第一不忍经

‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ādīnavā akkhantiyā. Katame pañca? Bahuno janassa appiyo hoti amanāpo, verabahulo ca hoti, vajjabahulo ca, sammūḷho kālaṃ karoti, kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjati. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ādīnavā akkhantiyā.
「诸比库,不忍有这五种过患。哪五种?为众人所不喜爱、不可意,多怨恨,多过失,迷乱地死去,身坏命终后,投生到苦界、恶趣、堕处、地狱。诸比库,这些是不忍的五种过患。
‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ānisaṃsā khantiyā. Katame pañca? Bahuno janassa piyo hoti manāpo, na verabahulo hoti, na vajjabahulo, asammūḷho kālaṃ karoti, kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapajjati. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ānisaṃsā khantiyā’’ti. Pañcamaṃ.
「诸比库,忍有这五种利益。哪五种?为众人所喜爱、可意,不多怨恨,不多过失,不迷乱地死去,身坏命终后,投生到善趣、天界。诸比库,这些是忍的五种利益。」第五经。
6. Dutiyaakkhantisuttaṃ6. 第二不忍经

‘‘Pañcime , bhikkhave, ādīnavā akkhantiyā. Katame pañca? Bahuno janassa appiyo hoti amanāpo, luddo ca hoti, vippaṭisārī ca, sammūḷho kālaṃ karoti, kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjati. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ādīnavā akkhantiyā.
「诸比库!不忍有这五种过患。哪五种呢?为众人所不喜爱、不可意,且残暴,且后悔,迷乱而死,身坏命终后投生到苦界、恶趣、堕处、地狱。诸比库!这些是不忍的五种过患。
‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ānisaṃsā khantiyā. Katame pañca? Bahuno janassa piyo hoti manāpo, aluddo ca hoti, avippaṭisārī ca, asammūḷho kālaṃ karoti, kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapajjati. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ānisaṃsā khantiyā’’ti. Chaṭṭhaṃ.
「诸比库!忍有这五种利益。哪五种呢?为众人所喜爱、可意,且不残暴,且不后悔,不迷乱而死,身坏命终后投生到善趣、天界。诸比库!这些是忍的五种利益。」第六经。
7. Paṭhamaapāsādikasuttaṃ7. 第一不可喜经

‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ādīnavā apāsādike. Katame pañca? Attāpi attānaṃ upavadati, anuvicca viññū garahanti, pāpako kittisaddo abbhuggacchati, sammūḷho kālaṃ karoti, kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjati. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ādīnavā apāsādike.
「诸比库!须跋信者有这五种过患。哪五种呢?自己责备自己,诸智者详察后呵责,恶名声传出,迷乱而死,身坏命终后投生到苦界、恶趣、堕处、地狱。诸比库!这些是须跋信者的五种过患。
‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ānisaṃsā pāsādike . Katame pañca? Attāpi attānaṃ na upavadati, anuvicca viññū pasaṃsanti, kalyāṇo kittisaddo abbhuggacchati, asammūḷho kālaṃ karoti, kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapajjati. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ānisaṃsā pāsādike’’ti. Sattamaṃ.
「诸比库!净信者有这五种利益。哪五种呢?自己不责备自己,诸智者详察后赞叹,善名声传出,不迷乱而死,身坏命终后投生到善趣、天界。诸比库!这些是净信者的五种利益。」第七经。
8. Dutiyaapāsādikasuttaṃ8. 第二不可喜经

‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ādīnavā apāsādike. Katame pañca? Appasannā nappasīdanti, pasannānañca ekaccānaṃ aññathattaṃ hoti, satthusāsanaṃ akataṃ hoti, pacchimā janatā diṭṭhānugatiṃ āpajjati, cittamassa nappasīdati. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ādīnavā apāsādike.
「诸比库!须跋信者有这五种过患。哪五种呢?未净信者须跋信,某些已净信者变心,导师的教诫未被实行,后来的人们陷入邪见,其心须跋信。诸比库!这些是须跋信者的五种过患。
‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ānisaṃsā pāsādike. Katame pañca? Appasannā pasīdanti, pasannānañca bhiyyobhāvo hoti, satthusāsanaṃ kataṃ hoti, pacchimā janatā diṭṭhānugatiṃ āpajjati, cittamassa pasīdati. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ānisaṃsā pāsādike’’ti. Aṭṭhamaṃ.
「诸比库!净信者有这五种利益。哪五种呢?未净信者净信,已净信者更增长,导师的教诫被实行,后来的人们陷入正见,其心净信。诸比库!这些是净信者的五种利益。」第八经。
9. Aggisuttaṃ9. 火经

‘‘Pañcime , bhikkhave, ādīnavā aggismiṃ. Katame pañca? Acakkhusso, dubbaṇṇakaraṇo, dubbalakaraṇo, saṅgaṇikāpavaḍḍhano , tiracchānakathāpavattaniko hoti. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ādīnavā aggismi’’nti. Navamaṃ.
「诸比库!火有这五种过患。哪五种呢?损坏眼睛,使色变坏,使力变弱,增长聚会,导致畜生论。诸比库!这些是火的五种过患。」第九经。
10. Madhurāsuttaṃ10. 马杜拉经

‘‘Pañcime, bhikkhave, ādīnavā madhurāyaṃ. Katame pañca? Visamā, bahurajā, caṇḍasunakhā, vāḷayakkhā, dullabhapiṇḍā – ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca ādīnavā madhurāya’’nti. Dasamaṃ.
「诸比库!旷野有这五种过患。哪五种呢?不平坦,多尘,有凶恶的狗,有野兽亚卡,难得食物。诸比库!这些是旷野的五种过患。」第十经。
