‘‘Pubbāhaṃ , bhikkhave, ananussutesu dhammesu abhiññāvosānapāramippatto paṭijānāmi. Pañcimāni, bhikkhave, tathāgatassa tathāgatabalāni, yehi balehi samannāgato tathāgato āsabhaṃ ṭhānaṃ paṭijānāti, parisāsu sīhanādaṃ nadati, brahmacakkaṃ pavatteti. Katamāni pañca? Saddhābalaṃ, hirībalaṃ, ottappabalaṃ, vīriyabalaṃ, paññābalaṃ – imāni kho, bhikkhave, pañca tathāgatassa tathāgatabalāni yehi balehi samannāgato tathāgato āsabhaṃ ṭhānaṃ paṭijānāti, parisāsu sīhanādaṃ nadati, brahmacakkaṃ pavattetī’’ti. 「诸比库,我宣称在未曾听闻的诸法中,已达证智之终极与彼岸。诸比库,如来有此五种如来力,具足此诸力,如来宣称无上士之地位,于众中作狮子吼,转梵轮。哪五种?信力、惭力、愧力、精进力、慧力——诸比库,此为如来之五种如来力,具足此诸力,如来宣称无上士之地位,于众中作狮子吼,转梵轮。」第一

‘‘Pañcimāni , bhikkhave, sekhabalāni. Katamāni pañca? Saddhābalaṃ, hirībalaṃ, ottappabalaṃ, vīriyabalaṃ, paññābalaṃ – imāni kho, bhikkhave, pañca sekhabalāni. Imesaṃ kho, bhikkhave, pañcannaṃ sekhabalānaṃ etaṃ aggaṃ etaṃ saṅgāhikaṃ etaṃ saṅghātaniyaṃ, yadidaṃ paññābalaṃ.
「诸比库,有此五种有学力。哪五种?信力、惭力、愧力、精进力、慧力——诸比库,此为五种有学力。诸比库,于此五种有学力中,此为最上、此为摄持、此为结合,即慧力。
‘‘Seyyathāpi , bhikkhave , kūṭāgārassa etaṃ aggaṃ etaṃ saṅgāhikaṃ etaṃ saṅghātaniyaṃ, yadidaṃ kūṭaṃ. Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, imesaṃ pañcannaṃ sekhabalānaṃ etaṃ aggaṃ etaṃ saṅgāhikaṃ etaṃ saṅghātaniyaṃ, yadidaṃ paññābalaṃ.
「诸比库,譬如于重阁,此为最上、此为摄持、此为结合,即屋顶。如是,诸比库,于此五种有学力中,此为最上、此为摄持、此为结合,即慧力。
‘‘Tasmātiha, bhikkhave, evaṃ sikkhitabbaṃ – ‘saddhābalena samannāgatā bhavissāma sekhabalena, hirībalena… ottappabalena… vīriyabalena… paññābalena samannāgatā bhavissāma sekhabalenā’ti. Evañhi vo, bhikkhave, sikkhitabba’’nti. Dutiyaṃ.
「诸比库,因此,于此应如此学:『我们将具足信力之有学力、惭力……愧力……精进力……慧力,我们将具足有学力。』诸比库,你们应如此学。」第二
3. Saṃkhittasuttaṃ3. 略说经

‘‘Pañcimāni , bhikkhave, balāni. Katamāni pañca? Saddhābalaṃ, vīriyabalaṃ, satibalaṃ, samādhibalaṃ, paññābalaṃ – imāni kho, bhikkhave, pañca balānī’’ti. Tatiyaṃ.
「诸比库,有此五力。哪五种?信力、精进力、念力、定力、慧力——诸比库,此为五力。」第三

‘‘Pañcimāni, bhikkhave, balāni. Katamāni pañca? Saddhābalaṃ, vīriyabalaṃ, satibalaṃ, samādhibalaṃ, paññābalaṃ.
「诸比库,有此五力。哪五种?信力、精进力、念力、定力、慧力。
‘‘Katamañca, bhikkhave, saddhābalaṃ? Idha, bhikkhave, ariyasāvako saddho hoti, saddahati tathāgatassa bodhiṃ – ‘itipi so bhagavā arahaṃ sammāsambuddho vijjācaraṇasampanno sugato lokavidū anuttaro purisadammasārathi satthā devamanussānaṃ buddho bhagavā’ti . Idaṃ vuccati, bhikkhave, saddhābalaṃ.
「诸比库,什么是信力?诸比库,于此,圣弟子有信,信如来之菩提:『如是,彼世尊是阿拉汉、正等正觉者、明行具足者、善至者、世间解者、无上调御丈夫者、天人师、佛陀、世尊。』诸比库,此称为信力。
‘‘Katamañca, bhikkhave, vīriyabalaṃ? Idha, bhikkhave, ariyasāvako āraddhavīriyo viharati akusalānaṃ dhammānaṃ pahānāya, kusalānaṃ dhammānaṃ upasampadāya thāmavā daḷhaparakkamo anikkhittadhuro kusalesu dhammesu. Idaṃ vuccati, bhikkhave, vīriyabalaṃ.
「诸比库,什么是精进力?诸比库,于此,圣弟子发勤精进而住,为断诸不善法,为具足诸善法,有力、坚固勇猛,于诸善法不舍其轭。诸比库,此称为精进力。
‘‘Katamañca, bhikkhave , satibalaṃ? Idha, bhikkhave, ariyasāvako satimā hoti paramena satinepakkena samannāgato, cirakatampi cirabhāsitampi saritā anussaritā. Idaṃ vuccati, bhikkhave, satibalaṃ.
「诸比库,什么是念力?诸比库,于此,圣弟子具念,具备最高的念与正知,能忆念、随念很久以前所作、很久以前所说之事。诸比库,这称为念力。
‘‘Katamañca, bhikkhave, samādhibalaṃ? Idha, bhikkhave, ariyasāvako vivicceva kāmehi vivicca akusalehi dhammehi savitakkaṃ savicāraṃ vivekajaṃ pītisukhaṃ paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharati; vitakkavicārānaṃ vūpasamā ajjhattaṃ sampasādanaṃ cetaso ekodibhāvaṃ avitakkaṃ avicāraṃ samādhijaṃ pītisukhaṃ dutiyaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharati; pītiyā ca virāgā upekkhako ca viharati sato ca sampajāno sukhañca kāyena paṭisaṃvedeti yaṃ taṃ ariyā ācikkhanti – ‘upekkhako satimā sukhavihārī’ti tatiyaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharati; sukhassa ca pahānā dukkhassa ca pahānā pubbeva somanassadomanassānaṃ atthaṅgamā adukkhamasukhaṃ upekkhāsatipārisuddhiṃ catutthaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharati. Idaṃ vuccati, bhikkhave, samādhibalaṃ.
「诸比库,什么是定力?诸比库,于此,圣弟子离诸欲,离诸不善法,有寻、有伺,离生喜乐,证得初禅而住;寻伺寂止,内净,心专一性,无寻、无伺,定生喜乐,证得第二禅而住;离喜之故,住于舍,具念、正知,以身受乐,正如诸圣者所说的『舍、具念、乐住』,证得第三禅而住;舍断乐与舍断苦,先前喜忧已灭没,不苦不乐,舍念清净,证得第四禅而住。诸比库,这称为定力。
‘‘Katamañca, bhikkhave, paññābalaṃ? Idha, bhikkhave, ariyasāvako paññavā hoti udayatthagāminiyā paññāya samannāgato ariyāya nibbedhikāya sammā dukkhakkhayagāminiyā. Idaṃ vuccati, bhikkhave, paññābalaṃ. Imāni kho, bhikkhave, pañca balānī’’ti. Catutthaṃ.
「诸比库,什么是慧力?诸比库,于此,圣弟子具慧,具备导向生灭的慧,圣者的、能洞察的、正导至苦尽的慧。诸比库,这称为慧力。诸比库,这些是五力。」第四经。
5. Daṭṭhabbasuttaṃ5. 应见经

‘‘Pañcimāni, bhikkhave, balāni. Katamāni pañca? Saddhābalaṃ, vīriyabalaṃ, satibalaṃ, samādhibalaṃ, paññābalaṃ . Kattha ca, bhikkhave, saddhābalaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ? Catūsu sotāpattiyaṅgesu. Ettha saddhābalaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ. Kattha ca, bhikkhave, vīriyabalaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ? Catūsu sammappadhānesu. Ettha vīriyabalaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ. Kattha ca, bhikkhave, satibalaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ? Catūsu satipaṭṭhānesu. Ettha satibalaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ. Kattha ca, bhikkhave, samādhibalaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ? Catūsu jhānesu. Ettha samādhibalaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ. Kattha ca, bhikkhave, paññābalaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ? Catūsu ariyasaccesu. Ettha paññābalaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ. Imāni kho, bhikkhave, pañca balānī’’ti. Pañcamaṃ.
「诸比库,有这五力。哪五种?信力、精进力、念力、定力、慧力。诸比库,在哪里应见信力?在四入流支。在此处应见信力。诸比库,在哪里应见精进力?在四正勤。在此处应见精进力。诸比库,在哪里应见念力?在须跋。在此处应见念力。诸比库,在哪里应见定力?在四禅那。在此处应见定力。诸比库,在哪里应见慧力?在四圣谛。在此处应见慧力。诸比库,这些是五力。」第五经。
6. Punakūṭasuttaṃ6. 再屋顶经

‘‘Pañcimāni, bhikkhave, balāni. Katamāni pañca? Saddhābalaṃ, vīriyabalaṃ, satibalaṃ, samādhibalaṃ, paññābalaṃ – imāni kho, bhikkhave, pañca balāni. Seyyathāpi, bhikkhave, kūṭāgārassa etaṃ aggaṃ etaṃ saṅgāhikaṃ etaṃ saṅghātaniyaṃ, yadidaṃ kūṭaṃ. Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, imesaṃ pañcannaṃ balānaṃ etaṃ aggaṃ etaṃ saṅgāhikaṃ etaṃ saṅghātaniyaṃ, yadidaṃ paññābala’’nti. Chaṭṭhaṃ.
「诸比库,有这五力。哪五种?信力、精进力、念力、定力、慧力——诸比库,这些是五力。诸比库,在这五力中,这是最上的、摄持的、统合的,即慧力。诸比库,譬如尖顶屋,这是最上的、摄持的、统合的,即屋顶。同样地,诸比库,在这五力中,这是最上的、摄持的、统合的,即慧力。」第六经。

‘‘Pañcahi , bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu attahitāya paṭipanno hoti, no parahitāya. Katamehi pañcahi? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu attanā sīlasampanno hoti, no paraṃ sīlasampadāya samādapeti; attanā samādhisampanno hoti, no paraṃ samādhisampadāya samādapeti; attanā paññāsampanno hoti, no paraṃ paññāsampadāya samādapeti; attanā vimuttisampanno hoti, no paraṃ vimuttisampadāya samādapeti; attanā vimuttiñāṇadassanasampanno hoti, no paraṃ vimuttiñāṇadassanasampadāya samādapeti. Imehi kho, bhikkhave, pañcahi aṅgehi samannāgato bhikkhu attahitāya paṭipanno hoti, no parahitāyā’’ti. Sattamaṃ.
「诸比库,具备五法的比库行于自利,非他利。哪五种?诸比库,于此,比库自己达上,不劝导他人达上;自己具足定,不劝导他人具足定;自己具足慧,不劝导他人具足慧;自己具足解脱,不劝导他人具足解脱;自己具足解脱智见,不劝导他人具足解脱智见。诸比库,具备这五支的比库行于自利,非他利。」第七经。

「诸比库,具备五法的比库既不行于自利,也不行于他利。哪五种?诸比库,于此,比库自己不达上,不劝导他人达上;自己不具足定,不劝导他人具足定;自己不具足慧,不劝导他人具足慧;自己不具足解脱,不劝导他人具足解脱;自己不具足解脱智见,不劝导他人具足解脱智见。诸比库,具备这五法的比库既不行于自利,也不行于他利。」第九经。

Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu attanā ca sīlasampanno hoti, parañca sīlasampadāya samādapeti; attanā ca samādhisampanno hoti, parañca samādhisampadāya samādapeti, attanā ca paññāsampanno hoti, parañca paññāsampadāya samādapeti; attanā ca vimuttisampanno hoti, parañca vimuttisampadāya samādapeti; attanā ca vimuttiñāṇadassanasampanno hoti, parañca vimuttiñāṇadassanasampadāya samādapeti. 「诸比库!具足五法的比库,为了自利而行道,也为了他利而行道。哪五种呢?诸比库!在此,比库自己达上,也劝导他人达上;自己具足定,也劝导他人具足定;自己具足慧,也劝导他人具足慧;自己具足解脱,也劝导他人具足解脱;自己具足解脱智见,也劝导他人具足解脱智见。诸比库!具足这五法的比库,为了自利而行道,也为了他利而行道。」第十经。
