Evaṃ me sutaṃ – ekaṃ samayaṃ āyasmā anuruddho sāvatthiyaṃ viharati jetavane anāthapiṇḍikassa ārāme. Atha kho āyasmato anuruddhassa rahogatassa paṭisallīnassa evaṃ cetaso parivitakko udapādi – ‘‘yesaṃ kesañci cattāro satipaṭṭhānā viraddhā, viraddho tesaṃ ariyo maggo sammā dukkhakkhayagāmī. Yesaṃ kesañci cattāro satipaṭṭhānā āraddhā, āraddho tesaṃ ariyo maggo sammā dukkhakkhayagāmī’’ti.
如是我闻——一时,具寿阿奴卢塔住在沙瓦提城揭德林给孤独园。尔时,具寿阿奴卢塔独处静坐时,心中生起如此寻思:「凡任何人舍弃了须跋,他们已舍弃了正确导向苦灭尽的圣道。凡任何人修习了须跋,他们已修习了正确导向苦灭尽的圣道。」
Atha kho āyasmā mahāmoggallāno āyasmato anuruddhassa cetasā cetoparivitakkamaññāya – seyyathāpi nāma balavā puriso samiñjitaṃ vā bāhaṃ pasāreyya, pasāritaṃ vā bāhaṃ samiñjeyya, evameva – āyasmato anuruddhassa sammukhe pāturahosi. Atha kho āyasmā mahāmoggallāno āyasmantaṃ anuruddhaṃ etadavoca – ‘‘kittāvatā nu kho, āvuso anuruddha, bhikkhuno cattāro satipaṭṭhānā āraddhā hontī’’ti?
尔时,具寿马哈摩嘎喇那以心了知具寿阿奴卢塔的心中寻思——犹如有力之人伸展弯曲的手臂,或弯曲伸展的手臂,如是迅速地——出现在具寿阿奴卢塔面前。尔时,具寿马哈摩嘎喇那对具寿阿奴卢塔如此说:「贤友阿奴卢塔,比库在何种程度上修习了须跋?」
‘‘Idhāvuso, bhikkhu ajjhattaṃ kāye samudayadhammānupassī viharati, ajjhattaṃ kāye vayadhammānupassī viharati, ajjhattaṃ kāye samudayavayadhammānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ. Bahiddhā kāye samudayadhammānupassī viharati, bahiddhā kāye vayadhammānupassī viharati, bahiddhā kāye samudayavayadhammānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ. 「贤友,于此,比库于内身随观集法而住,于内身随观灭法而住,于内身随观集灭法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。于外身随观集法而住,于外身随观灭法而住,于外身随观集灭法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。于内外身随观集法而住,于内外身随观灭法而住,于内外身随观集灭法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。
‘‘So sace ākaṅkhati – ‘appaṭikūle paṭikūlasaññī vihareyya’nti, paṭikūlasaññī tattha viharati; sace ākaṅkhati – ‘paṭikūle appaṭikūlasaññī vihareyya’nti, appaṭikūlasaññī tattha viharati; sace ākaṅkhati – ‘appaṭikūle ca paṭikūle ca paṭikūlasaññī vihareyya’nti, paṭikūlasaññī tattha viharati; sace ākaṅkhati – ‘paṭikūle ca appaṭikūle ca appaṭikūlasaññī vihareyya’nti, appaṭikūlasaññī tattha viharati; sace ākaṅkhati – ‘appaṭikūlañca paṭikūlañca tadubhayaṃ abhinivajjetvā upekkhako vihareyyaṃ sato sampajāno’ti, upekkhako tattha viharati sato sampajāno.
「若他希望:『我应于不厌恶的对象具厌恶想而住』,他于彼处具厌恶想而住;若他希望:『我应于厌恶的对象具不厌恶想而住』,他于彼处具不厌恶想而住;若他希望:『我应于不厌恶的与厌恶的对象具厌恶想而住』,他于彼处具厌恶想而住;若他希望:『我应于厌恶的与不厌恶的对象具不厌恶想而住』,他于彼处具不厌恶想而住;若他希望:『我应舍弃不厌恶的与厌恶的两者,具念、正知而住于舍』,他于彼处具念、正知而住于舍。
‘‘Ajjhattaṃ vedanāsu samudayadhammānupassī viharati, ajjhattaṃ vedanāsu vayadhammānupassī viharati, ajjhattaṃ vedanāsu samudayavayadhammānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ . 「于内受随观集法而住,于内受随观灭法而住,于内受随观集灭法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。于外受随观集法而住,于外受随观灭法而住,于外受随观集灭法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。于内外受随观集法而住,于内外受随观灭法而住,于内外受随观集灭法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。

「若他希望:『我应于不厌恶的对象具厌恶想而住』,他于彼处具厌恶想而住;若他希望:『我应于厌恶的对象具不厌恶想而住』,他于彼处具不厌恶想而住;若他希望:『我应于不厌恶的与厌恶的对象具厌恶想而住』,他于彼处具厌恶想而住;若他希望:『我应于厌恶的与不厌恶的对象具不厌恶想而住』,他于彼处具不厌恶想而住;若他希望:『我应舍弃不厌恶的与厌恶的两者,具念、正知而住于舍』,他于彼处具念、正知而住于舍。
‘‘Ajjhattaṃ citte…pe… bahiddhā citte…pe… ajjhattabahiddhā citte samudayadhammānupassī viharati… ajjhattabahiddhā citte vayadhammānupassī viharati… ajjhattabahiddhā citte samudayavayadhammānupassī viharati ātāpī…pe… abhijjhādomanassaṃ.
「于内心……于外心……于内外心随观集法而住……于内外心随观灭法而住……于内外心随观集灭法而住,热诚……贪忧。
‘‘So sace ākaṅkhati – ‘appaṭikūle paṭikūlasaññī vihareyya’nti , paṭikūlasaññī tattha viharati…pe… upekkhako tattha viharati sato sampajāno.
「他如果希望——『我应于不厌恶的住于厌恶想』,他于彼处住于厌恶想……(中略)……他于彼处住于舍,具念、正知。
‘‘Ajjhattaṃ dhammesu…pe… bahiddhā dhammesu…pe… ajjhattabahiddhā dhammesu samudayadhammānupassī viharati… ajjhattabahiddhā dhammesu vayadhammānupassī viharati… ajjhattabahiddhā dhammesu samudayavayadhammānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ.
「于内诸法……(中略)……于外诸法……(中略)……于内外诸法随观集法而住……于内外诸法随观灭法而住……于内外诸法随观集灭法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。
‘‘So sace ākaṅkhati – ‘appaṭikūle paṭikūlasaññī vihareyya’nti, paṭikūlasaññī tattha viharati…pe… upekkhako tattha viharati sato sampajāno. Ettāvatā kho, āvuso, bhikkhuno cattāro satipaṭṭhānā āraddhā hontī’’ti. Paṭhamaṃ.
「他如果希望——『我应于不厌恶的住于厌恶想』,他于彼处住于厌恶想……(中略)……他于彼处住于舍,具念、正知。贤友,至此,比库的须跋已被发起。」第一经。
2. Dutiyarahogatasuttaṃ2. 第二独处经
§900
Sāvatthinidānaṃ. Atha kho āyasmato anuruddhassa rahogatassa paṭisallīnassa evaṃ cetaso parivitakko udapādi – ‘‘yesaṃ kesañci cattāro satipaṭṭhānā viraddhā, viraddho tesaṃ ariyo maggo sammā dukkhakkhayagāmī; yesaṃ kesañci cattāro satipaṭṭhānā āraddhā, āraddho tesaṃ ariyo maggo sammā dukkhakkhayagāmī’’ti.
沙瓦提因缘。时,具寿阿奴卢塔独自远离、独坐时,心中生起如此的寻思——「凡任何人的须跋已失坏,他们的正确导向苦灭尽的圣道已失坏;凡任何人的须跋已发起,他们的正确导向苦灭尽的圣道已发起。」
Atha kho āyasmā mahāmoggallāno āyasmato anuruddhassa cetasā cetoparivitakkamaññāya – seyyathāpi nāma balavā puriso samiñjitaṃ vā bāhaṃ pasāreyya , pasāritaṃ vā bāhaṃ samiñjeyya, evameva – āyasmato anuruddhassa sammukhe pāturahosi.
时,具寿马哈摩嘎喇那以心了知具寿阿奴卢塔的心中寻思——犹如有力的男子伸展弯曲的手臂,或弯曲伸展的手臂,如是——出现在具寿阿奴卢塔面前。
Atha kho āyasmā mahāmoggallāno āyasmantaṃ anuruddhaṃ etadavoca – ‘‘kittāvatā nu kho, āvuso anuruddha, bhikkhuno cattāro satipaṭṭhānā āraddhā hontī’’ti?
时,具寿马哈摩嘎喇那对具寿阿奴卢塔说此——「贤友阿奴卢塔,至何程度,比库的须跋已被发起呢?」
‘‘Idhāvuso , bhikkhu ajjhattaṃ kāye kāyānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ. Bahiddhā kāye kāyānupassī viharati…pe… ajjhattabahiddhā kāye kāyānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ.
「贤友,于此,比库于内身随观身而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。于外身随观身而住……(中略)……于内外身随观身而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。
‘‘Ajjhattaṃ vedanāsu vedanānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ. Bahiddhā vedanāsu vedanānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ. Ajjhattabahiddhā vedanāsu vedanānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ.
「于内诸受随观受而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。于外诸受随观受而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。于内外诸受随观受而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。
‘‘Ajjhattaṃ citte…pe… bahiddhā citte…pe… ajjhattabahiddhā citte cittānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ.
「于内心随观心而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。于外心……于内外心随观心而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。
‘‘Ajjhattaṃ dhammesu…pe… bahiddhā dhammesu…pe… ajjhattabahiddhā dhammesu dhammānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ. Ettāvatā kho, āvuso, bhikkhuno cattāro satipaṭṭhānā āraddhā hontī’’ti. Dutiyaṃ.
「于内法……于外法……于内外法随观法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧。诸贤友,比库的须跋就是这样修习的。」第二经。
3. Sutanusuttaṃ3. 苏德努经
§901
Ekaṃ samayaṃ āyasmā anuruddho sāvatthiyaṃ viharati sutanutīre. Atha kho sambahulā bhikkhū yenāyasmā anuruddho tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā āyasmatā anuruddhena saddhiṃ sammodiṃsu. Sammodanīyaṃ kathaṃ sāraṇīyaṃ vītisāretvā ekamantaṃ nisīdiṃsu. Ekamantaṃ nisinnā kho te bhikkhū āyasmantaṃ anuruddhaṃ etadavocuṃ – ‘‘katamesaṃ āyasmā anuruddho dhammānaṃ bhāvitattā bahulīkatattā mahābhiññataṃ patto’’ti?
一时,具寿阿奴卢塔住在沙瓦提的苏塔奴河岸。那时,众多比库去到具寿阿奴卢塔那里;到了之后,与具寿阿奴卢塔互相问候。互相问候、可喜、可忆念的交谈之后,在一旁坐下。在一旁坐下的那些比库对具寿阿奴卢塔这样说:「具寿阿奴卢塔因为修习、多修习哪些法而达到大神通?」
‘‘Catunnaṃ khvāhaṃ, āvuso, satipaṭṭhānānaṃ bhāvitattā bahulīkatattā mahābhiññataṃ patto. Katamesaṃ catunnaṃ? Idhāhaṃ, āvuso, kāye kāyānupassī viharāmi ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ; vedanāsu…pe… citte…pe… dhammesu dhammānupassī viharāmi ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ – imesaṃ khvāhaṃ, āvuso, catunnaṃ satipaṭṭhānānaṃ bhāvitattā bahulīkatattā mahābhiññataṃ patto. Imesañca panāhaṃ, āvuso, catunnaṃ satipaṭṭhānānaṃ bhāvitattā bahulīkatattā hīnaṃ dhammaṃ hīnato abbhaññāsiṃ, majjhimaṃ dhammaṃ majjhimato abbhaññāsiṃ, paṇītaṃ dhammaṃ paṇītato abbhaññāsi’’nti. Tatiyaṃ.
「诸贤友,我因为修习、多修习须跋而达到大神通。哪四个?诸贤友,在此,我于身随观身而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧;于受……于心……于法随观法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧——诸贤友,我因为修习、多修习这须跋而达到大神通。诸贤友,又因为修习、多修习这须跋,我如实了知下劣法为下劣,如实了知中等法为中等,如实了知殊胜法为殊胜。」第三经。
4. Paṭhamakaṇḍakīsuttaṃ4. 第一刊达基经

Ekaṃ samayaṃ āyasmā ca anuruddho āyasmā ca sāriputto āyasmā ca mahāmoggallāno sākete viharanti kaṇḍakīvane . Atha kho āyasmā ca sāriputto āyasmā ca mahāmoggallāno sāyanhasamayaṃ paṭisallānā vuṭṭhitā yenāyasmā anuruddho tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā āyasmatā anuruddhena saddhiṃ sammodiṃsu. Sammodanīyaṃ kathaṃ sāraṇīyaṃ vītisāretvā ekamantaṃ nisīdiṃsu. Ekamantaṃ nisinno kho āyasmā sāriputto āyasmantaṃ anuruddhaṃ etadavoca – ‘‘sekhenāvuso anuruddha, bhikkhunā katame dhammā upasampajja vihātabbā’’ti?
一时,具寿阿奴卢塔、具寿沙利子和具寿马哈摩嘎喇那住在萨咖答的刺林。那时,具寿沙利子和具寿马哈摩嘎喇那在傍晚时分从独坐中出来,去到具寿阿奴卢塔那里;到了之后,与具寿阿奴卢塔互相问候。互相问候、可喜、可忆念的交谈之后,在一旁坐下。在一旁坐下的具寿沙利子对具寿阿奴卢塔这样说:「贤友阿奴卢塔,有学比库应当证得而住于哪些法?」
‘‘Sekhenāvuso sāriputta, bhikkhunā cattāro satipaṭṭhānā upasampajja vihātabbā. Katame cattāro? Idhāvuso, bhikkhu kāye kāyānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ; vedanāsu …pe… citte…pe… dhammesu dhammānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ – sekhenāvuso sāriputta, bhikkhunā ime cattāro satipaṭṭhānā upasampajja vihātabbā’’ti. Catutthaṃ.
「贤友沙利子,有学比库应当证得而住于须跋。哪四个?诸贤友,在此,比库于身随观身而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧;于受……于心……于法随观法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧——贤友沙利子,有学比库应当证得而住于这须跋。」第四经。

Sāketanidānaṃ. 萨咖答因缘。在一旁坐下的具寿沙利子对具寿阿奴卢塔这样说:「具寿阿奴卢塔因为修习、多修习哪些法而达到大神通?」「诸贤友,我因为修习、多修习须跋而达到大神通。哪四个?诸贤友,在此,我于身随观身而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧;于受……于心……于法随观法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧——诸贤友,我因为修习、多修习这须跋而达到大神通。诸贤友,又因为修习、多修习这须跋,我能了知千个世界。」第六经。
7. Taṇhakkhayasuttaṃ7. 渴爱灭尽经
§905
Sāvatthinidānaṃ . Tatra kho āyasmā anuruddho bhikkhū āmantesi – ‘‘āvuso bhikkhavo’’ti. ‘‘Āvuso’’ti kho te bhikkhū āyasmato anuruddhassa paccassosuṃ. Āyasmā anuruddho etadavoca –
沙瓦提因缘。于此,具寿阿奴卢塔召唤诸比库:「诸具寿比库!」「具寿!」那些比库回答具寿阿奴卢塔。具寿阿奴卢塔说此:
‘‘Cattārome , āvuso, satipaṭṭhānā bhāvitā bahulīkatā taṇhakkhayāya saṃvattanti. Katame cattāro? Idhāvuso, bhikkhu kāye kāyānupassī viharati…pe… vedanāsu…pe… citte…pe… dhammesu dhammānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ – ime kho, āvuso, cattāro satipaṭṭhānā bhāvitā bahulīkatā taṇhakkhayāya saṃvattantī’’ti. Sattamaṃ.
「诸具寿,此须跋已修习、已多修习,导向渴爱的灭尽。哪四种?诸具寿,于此,比库于身随观身而住……(中略)……于诸受……(中略)……于心……(中略)……于诸法随观法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧——诸具寿,此须跋已修习、已多修习,导向渴爱的灭尽。」第七经。
8. Salaḷāgārasuttaṃ8. 沙喇喇嘎拉经
§906
Ekaṃ samayaṃ āyasmā anuruddho sāvatthiyaṃ viharati salaḷāgāre. Tatra kho āyasmā anuruddho bhikkhū āmantesi…pe… etadavoca – ‘‘seyyathāpi, āvuso, gaṅgā nadī pācīnaninnā pācīnapoṇā pācīnapabbhārā. Atha mahājanakāyo āgaccheyya kuddālapiṭakaṃ ādāya – ‘mayaṃ imaṃ gaṅgānadiṃ pacchāninnaṃ karissāma pacchāpoṇaṃ pacchāpabbhāra’nti. Taṃ kiṃ maññathāvuso, api nu so mahājanakāyo gaṅgānadiṃ pacchāninnaṃ kareyya pacchāpoṇaṃ pacchāpabbhāra’’nti? ‘‘No hetaṃ, āvuso’’. ‘‘Taṃ kissa hetu’’? ‘‘Gaṅgā, āvuso, nadī pācīnaninnā pācīnapoṇā pācīnapabbhārā. Sā na sukarā pacchāninnaṃ kātuṃ pacchāpoṇaṃ pacchāpabbhāraṃ. Yāvadeva ca pana so mahājanakāyo kilamathassa vighātassa bhāgī assā’’ti.
一时,具寿阿奴卢塔住在沙瓦提的沙喇喇咖拉。于此,具寿阿奴卢塔召唤诸比库……(中略)……说此:「诸具寿,譬如恒河向东流、向东倾、向东斜。那时,有大群人拿着锄头和篮子前来:『我们将使此恒河向西流、向西倾、向西斜。』诸具寿,你们认为如何?那大群人能使恒河向西流、向西倾、向西斜吗?」「不能,具寿。」「那是什么原因?」「诸具寿,恒河向东流、向东倾、向东斜。它不容易被造成向西流、向西倾、向西斜。而那大群人只会得到疲劳与困扰的份。」
‘‘Evameva kho, āvuso, bhikkhuṃ cattāro satipaṭṭhāne bhāventaṃ cattāro satipaṭṭhāne bahulīkarontaṃ rājāno vā rājamahāmattā vā mittā vā amaccā vā ñātī vā sālohitā vā bhogehi abhihaṭṭhuṃ pavāreyyuṃ – ‘ehambho purisa, kiṃ te ime kāsāvā anudahanti? Kiṃ muṇḍo kapālamanusañcarasi? Ehi hīnāyāvattitvā bhoge ca bhuñjassu puññāni ca karohī’’’ti.
「诸具寿,同样地,当比库修习须跋、多修习须跋时,诸王或王大臣或朋友或同僚或亲戚或血亲可能以财富来邀请他:『来吧,善男子!这些袈裟对你有何用?为何你剃头持钵游行?来吧,还俗后享受财富并作福德吧!』」
‘‘So vata, āvuso, bhikkhu cattāro satipaṭṭhāne bhāvento cattāro satipaṭṭhāne bahulīkaronto sikkhaṃ paccakkhāya hīnāyāvattissatīti – netaṃ ṭhānaṃ vijjati. Taṃ kissa hetu? 一时,具寿阿奴卢塔与具寿沙利子住在韦萨离的安巴巴离林。那时,具寿沙利子于傍晚时从独坐中起……(中略)……坐于一旁的具寿沙利子对具寿阿奴卢塔说此:
‘‘Vippasannāni kho te, āvuso anuruddha, indriyāni, parisuddho mukhavaṇṇo pariyodāto. Katamenāyasmā anuruddho vihārena etarahi bahulaṃ viharatī’’ti? ‘‘Catūsu khvāhaṃ, āvuso, satipaṭṭhānesu suppatiṭṭhitacitto etarahi bahulaṃ viharāmi. Katamesu catūsu? Idhāhaṃ, āvuso, kāye kāyānupassī viharāmi ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ; vedanāsu…pe… citte…pe… dhammesu dhammānupassī viharāmi ātāpī sampajāno satimā, vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ – imesu khvāhaṃ, āvuso, catūsu satipaṭṭhānesu suppatiṭṭhitacitto etarahi bahulaṃ viharāmi. Yo so, āvuso, bhikkhu arahaṃ khīṇāsavo vusitavā katakaraṇīyo ohitabhāro anuppattasadattho parikkhīṇabhavasaṃyojano sammadaññā vimutto, so imesu catūsu satipaṭṭhānesu suppatiṭṭhitacitto bahulaṃ viharatī’’ti.
「具寿阿奴卢塔,你的诸根明净,面色清净、皎洁。具寿阿奴卢塔现在多以何种住而住?」「具寿,我现在多以心善安立于须跋而住。哪四种?具寿,于此,我于身随观身而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧;于诸受……(中略)……于心……(中略)……于诸法随观法而住,热诚、正知、具念,调伏世间的贪忧——具寿,我现在多以心善安立于此须跋而住。具寿,凡是阿拉汉比库、诸漏已尽、已住梵行、应作已作、已舍重担、已达自己的目的、有结已尽、以正智解脱者,他多以心善安立于此须跋而住。」
‘‘Lābhā vata no, āvuso, suladdhaṃ vata no, āvuso! Ye mayaṃ āyasmato anuruddhassa sammukhāva assumha āsabhiṃ vācaṃ bhāsamānassā’’ti. Navamaṃ.

10. Bāḷhagilānasuttaṃ10. 极重病经

Ekaṃ samayaṃ āyasmā anuruddho sāvatthiyaṃ viharati andhavanasmiṃ ābādhiko dukkhito bāḷhagilāno. Atha kho sambahulā bhikkhū yenāyasmā anuruddho tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā āyasmantaṃ anuruddhaṃ etadavocuṃ –
一时,具寿阿奴卢陀住在沙瓦提的盲林,患病、痛苦、重病。那时,众多比库去到具寿阿奴卢陀那里;去到之后,对具寿阿奴卢陀这样说——
‘‘Katamenāyasmato anuruddhassa vihārena viharato uppannā sārīrikā dukkhā vedanā cittaṃ na pariyādāya tiṭṭhantī’’ti? ‘‘Catūsu kho me, āvuso, satipaṭṭhānesu suppatiṭṭhitacittassa viharato uppannā sārīrikā dukkhā vedanā cittaṃ na pariyādāya tiṭṭhanti. Katamesu catūsu?
