1. Vivekajasuttaṃ1. 远离所生经
§332
Ekaṃ samayaṃ āyasmā sāriputto sāvatthiyaṃ viharati jetavane anāthapiṇḍikassa ārāme. Atha kho āyasmā sāriputto pubbaṇhasamayaṃ nivāsetvā pattacīvaramādāya sāvatthiṃ piṇḍāya pāvisi. Sāvatthiyaṃ piṇḍāya caritvā pacchābhattaṃ piṇḍapātapaṭikkanto yena andhavanaṃ tenupasaṅkami divāvihārāya. Andhavanaṃ ajjhogāhetvā aññatarasmiṃ rukkhamūle divāvihāraṃ nisīdi.
一时,具寿沙利子住在沙瓦提城揭德林给孤独园。那时,具寿沙利子在上午时分穿好衣,拿着钵与衣,进入沙瓦提城行乞食。在沙瓦提城行乞食后,食后从施食处返回,前往盲林作日中住。进入盲林后,在某棵树下坐下作日中住。
Atha kho āyasmā sāriputto sāyanhasamayaṃ paṭisallānā vuṭṭhito yena jetavanaṃ anāthapiṇḍikassa ārāmo tenupasaṅkami. Addasā kho āyasmā ānando āyasmantaṃ sāriputtaṃ dūratova āgacchantaṃ. Disvāna āyasmantaṃ sāriputtaṃ etadavoca – ‘‘vippasannāni kho te, āvuso sāriputta, indriyāni; parisuddho mukhavaṇṇo pariyodāto. Katamenāyasmā sāriputto ajja vihārena vihāsī’’ti?
那时,具寿沙利子在傍晚时分从独坐中起来,前往揭德林给孤独园。具寿阿难陀从远处看见具寿沙利子走来。看见后,对具寿沙利子这样说:「贤友沙利子,你的诸根清净,面色清净、皎洁。具寿沙利子今天以何种住而住?」
‘‘Idhāhaṃ, āvuso, vivicceva kāmehi vivicca akusalehi dhammehi savitakkaṃ savicāraṃ vivekajaṃ pītisukhaṃ paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharāmi. Tassa mayhaṃ, āvuso, na evaṃ hoti – ‘ahaṃ paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ samāpajjāmī’ti vā ‘ahaṃ paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ samāpanno’ti vā ‘ahaṃ paṭhamā jhānā vuṭṭhito’ti vā’’ti. ‘‘Tathā hi panāyasmato sāriputtassa dīgharattaṃ ahaṅkāramamaṅkāramānānusayā susamūhatā. Tasmā āyasmato sāriputtassa na evaṃ hoti – ‘ahaṃ paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ samāpajjāmī’ti vā ‘ahaṃ paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ samāpanno’ti vā ‘ahaṃ paṭhamā jhānā vuṭṭhito’ti vā’’ti. Paṭhamaṃ.
「贤友,在此,我离诸欲,离诸不善法,有寻、有伺,离生喜乐,具足初禅那而住。贤友,我不这样想:『我正进入初禅那』,或『我已进入初禅那』,或『我已从初禅那出来』。」「确实如此,因为具寿沙利子长久以来已善根除我作、我所作、慢随眠。因此,具寿沙利子不这样想:『我正进入初禅那』,或『我已进入初禅那』,或『我已从初禅那出来』。」第一。
2. Avitakkasuttaṃ2. 无寻经
§333
Sāvatthinidānaṃ . Addasā kho āyasmā ānando…pe… āyasmantaṃ sāriputtaṃ etadavoca – ‘‘vippasannāni kho te, āvuso sāriputta, indriyāni; parisuddho mukhavaṇṇo pariyodāto. Katamenāyasmā sāriputto ajja vihārena vihāsī’’ti?
沙瓦提因缘。具寿阿难陀看见……对具寿沙利子这样说:「贤友沙利子,你的诸根清净,面色清净、皎洁。具寿沙利子今天以何种住而住?」
‘‘Idhāhaṃ , āvuso, vitakkavicārānaṃ vūpasamā ajjhattaṃ sampasādanaṃ cetaso ekodibhāvaṃ avitakkaṃ avicāraṃ samādhijaṃ pītisukhaṃ dutiyaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharāmi. Tassa mayhaṃ, āvuso, na evaṃ hoti – ‘ahaṃ dutiyaṃ jhānaṃ samāpajjāmī’ti vā ‘ahaṃ dutiyaṃ jhānaṃ samāpanno’ti vā ‘ahaṃ dutiyā jhānā vuṭṭhito’ti vā’’ti. ‘‘Tathā hi panāyasmato sāriputtassa dīgharattaṃ ahaṅkāramamaṅkāramānānusayā susamūhatā. 「贤友,在此,我由于寻与伺的止息,内净,心专一性,无寻、无伺,定生喜乐,具足第二禅那而住。贤友,我不这样想:『我正进入第二禅那』,或『我已进入第二禅那』,或『我已从第二禅那出来』。」「确实如此,因为具寿沙利子长久以来已善根除我作、我所作、慢随眠。因此,具寿沙利子不这样想:『我正进入第二禅那』,或『我已进入第二禅那』,或『我已从第二禅那出来』。」第二。
3. Pītisuttaṃ3. 喜经

‘‘Idhāhaṃ, āvuso, pītiyā ca virāgā upekkhako ca vihāsiṃ sato ca sampajāno sukhañca kāyena paṭisaṃvedemi; yaṃ taṃ ariyā ācikkhanti ‘upekkhako satimā sukhavihārī’ti tatiyaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharāmi. Tassa mayhaṃ, āvuso, na evaṃ hoti – ‘ahaṃ tatiyaṃ jhānaṃ samāpajjāmī’ti vā ‘ahaṃ tatiyaṃ jhānaṃ samāpanno’ti vā ‘ahaṃ tatiyā jhānā vuṭṭhito’ti vā’’ti. ‘‘Tathā hi panāyasmato sāriputtassa dīgharattaṃ ahaṅkāramamaṅkāramānānusayā susamūhatā. 「贤友,在此,我由于喜的离去而住于舍,具念、正知,以身体验乐,诸圣者宣说:『舍、具念、乐住』,具足第三禅那而住。贤友,我不这样想:『我正进入第三禅那』,或『我已进入第三禅那』,或『我已从第三禅那出来』。」「确实如此,因为具寿沙利子长久以来已善根除我作、我所作、慢随眠。因此,具寿沙利子不这样想:『我正进入第三禅那』,或『我已进入第三禅那』,或『我已从第三禅那出来』。」第三。
4. Upekkhāsuttaṃ4. 舍经

沙瓦提因缘。具寿阿难陀看见……「贤友沙利子,你的诸根清净,面色清净、皎洁。具寿沙利子今天以何种住而住?」
‘‘Idhāhaṃ, āvuso, sukhassa ca pahānā dukkhassa ca pahānā pubbeva somanassadomanassānaṃ atthaṅgamā adukkhamasukhaṃ upekkhāsatipārisuddhiṃ catutthaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharāmi. Tassa mayhaṃ, āvuso, na evaṃ hoti – ‘ahaṃ catutthaṃ jhānaṃ samāpajjāmī’ti vā ‘ahaṃ catutthaṃ jhānaṃ samāpanno’ti vā ‘ahaṃ catutthā jhānā vuṭṭhito’ti vā’’ti. ‘‘Tathā hi panāyasmato sāriputtassa dīgharattaṃ ahaṅkāramamaṅkāramānānusayā susamūhatā. Tasmā āyasmato sāriputtassa na evaṃ hoti – ‘ahaṃ catutthaṃ jhānaṃ samāpajjāmī’ti vā ‘ahaṃ catutthaṃ jhānaṃ samāpanno’ti vā ‘ahaṃ catutthā jhānā vuṭṭhito’ti vā’’ti. Catutthaṃ.
「贤友,在此,我以舍乐与舍苦,先前喜忧已灭没故,成就不苦不乐、舍念清净的第四禅那而住。贤友,我不这样想:'我正进入第四禅那',或'我已进入第四禅那',或'我已从第四禅那出定'。」「正因为具寿沙利子长久以来我作、我所作、慢随眠已善根除。因此,具寿沙利子不这样想:'我正进入第四禅那',或'我已进入第四禅那',或'我已从第四禅那出定'。」第四。
5. Ākāsānañcāyatanasuttaṃ5. 空无边处经
§336
Sāvatthinidānaṃ . Addasā kho āyasmā ānando…pe… ‘‘idhāhaṃ, āvuso, sabbaso rūpasaññānaṃ samatikkamā paṭighasaññānaṃ atthaṅgamā nānattasaññānaṃ amanasikārā ananto ākāsoti ākāsānañcāyatanaṃ upasampajja viharāmi…pe… vuṭṭhitoti vā’’ti. Pañcamaṃ.
沙瓦提因缘。具寿阿难陀看见……「贤友,在此,我完全超越色想,灭没有对想,不作意种种想:'虚空是无边的',成就虚空无边处而住……或'已出定'。」第五。
6. Viññāṇañcāyatanasuttaṃ6. 识无边处经

Sāvatthinidānaṃ. Addasā kho āyasmā ānando…pe… ‘‘idhāhaṃ, āvuso, sabbaso ākāsānañcāyatanaṃ samatikkamma anantaṃ viññāṇanti viññāṇañcāyatanaṃ upasampajja viharāmi…pe… vuṭṭhitoti vā’’ti. Chaṭṭhaṃ.
沙瓦提因缘。具寿阿难陀看见……「贤友,在此,我完全超越虚空无边处:'识是无边的',成就识无边处而住……或'已出定'。」第六。
7. Ākiñcaññāyatanasuttaṃ7. 无所有处经
§338
Sāvatthinidānaṃ. Atha kho āyasmā sāriputto…pe… ‘‘idhāhaṃ, āvuso, sabbaso viññāṇañcāyatanaṃ samatikkamma, natthi kiñcīti ākiñcaññāyatanaṃ upasampajja viharāmi…pe… vuṭṭhitoti vā’’ti. Sattamaṃ.
沙瓦提因缘。于是,具寿沙利子……「贤友,在此,我完全超越识无边处:'无所有',成就无所有处而住……或'已出定'。」第七。
8. Nevasaññānāsaññāyatanasuttaṃ8. 非想非非想处经

Sāvatthinidānaṃ . Atha kho āyasmā sāriputto…pe… ‘‘idhāhaṃ, āvuso, ākiñcaññāyatanaṃ samatikkamma nevasaññānāsaññāyatanaṃ upasampajja viharāmi…pe… vuṭṭhitoti vā’’ti. Aṭṭhamaṃ.
沙瓦提因缘。于是,具寿沙利子……「贤友,在此,我超越无所有处,成就非想非非想处而住……或'已出定'。」第八。
9. Nirodhasamāpattisuttaṃ9. 灭尽定经

Sāvatthinidānaṃ. Atha kho āyasmā sāriputto…pe… . ‘‘Idhāhaṃ, āvuso, sabbaso nevasaññānāsaññāyatanaṃ samatikkamma saññāvedayitanirodhaṃ upasampajja viharāmi. Tassa mayhaṃ, āvuso, na evaṃ hoti – ‘ahaṃ saññāvedayitanirodhaṃ samāpajjāmī’ti vā ‘ahaṃ saññāvedayitanirodhaṃ samāpanno’ti vā ‘ahaṃ saññāvedayitanirodhā vuṭṭhito’ti vā’’ti. ‘‘Tathā hi panāyasmato sāriputtassa dīgharattaṃ ahaṅkāramamaṅkāramānānusayā susamūhatā. Tasmā āyasmato sāriputtassa na evaṃ hoti – ‘ahaṃ saññāvedayitanirodhaṃ samāpajjāmī’ti vā ‘ahaṃ saññāvedayitanirodhaṃ samāpanno’ti vā ‘ahaṃ saññāvedayitanirodhā vuṭṭhito’ti vā’’ti. Navamaṃ.
沙瓦提因缘。于是,具寿沙利子……「贤友,在此,我完全超越非想非非想处,成就想受灭而住。贤友,我不这样想:'我正进入想受灭',或'我已进入想受灭',或'我已从想受灭出定'。」「正因为具寿沙利子长久以来我作、我所作、慢随眠已善根除。因此,具寿沙利子不这样想:'我正进入想受灭',或'我已进入想受灭',或'我已从想受灭出定'。」第九。
10. Sūcimukhīsuttaṃ10. 针口经
§341
Ekaṃ samayaṃ āyasmā sāriputto rājagahe viharati veḷuvane kalandakanivāpe. Atha kho āyasmā sāriputto pubbaṇhasamayaṃ nivāsetvā pattacīvaramādāya rājagahe piṇḍāya pāvisi. Rājagahe sapadānaṃ piṇḍāya caritvā taṃ piṇḍapātaṃ aññataraṃ kuṭṭamūlaṃ nissāya paribhuñjati. Atha kho sūcimukhī paribbājikā yenāyasmā sāriputto tenupasaṅkami; upasaṅkamitvā āyasmantaṃ sāriputtaṃ etadavoca –
一时,具寿沙利子住在王舍城竹林咖兰达咖尼瓦巴。于是,具寿沙利子在上午时分穿好衣,拿着钵与衣,进入王舍城托钵。在王舍城次第行乞后,依靠某棵树根食用那钵食。于是,针嘴女游方者去到具寿沙利子那里;去到后,对具寿沙利子这样说——
‘‘Kiṃ nu kho, samaṇa, adhomukho bhuñjasī’’ti? ‘‘Na khvāhaṃ, bhagini, adhomukho bhuñjāmī’’ti. ‘‘Tena hi, samaṇa, ubbhamukho bhuñjasī’’ti? ‘‘Na khvāhaṃ, bhagini, ubbhamukho bhuñjāmī’’ti. ‘‘Tena hi, samaṇa, disāmukho bhuñjasī’’ti? ‘‘Na khvāhaṃ, bhagini, disāmukho bhuñjāmī’’ti. ‘‘Tena hi, samaṇa, vidisāmukho bhuñjasī’’ti? ‘‘Na khvāhaṃ, bhagini, vidisāmukho bhuñjāmī’’ti.
「沙门,为何你低头而食?」「姊妹,我确实不低头而食。」「那么,沙门,你仰头而食?」「姊妹,我确实不仰头而食。」「那么,沙门,你面向方位而食?」「姊妹,我确实不面向方位而食。」「那么,沙门,你面向四维而食?」「姊妹,我确实不面向四维而食。」
‘‘‘Kiṃ nu, samaṇa, adhomukho bhuñjasī’ti iti puṭṭho samāno ‘na khvāhaṃ, bhagini, adhomukho bhuñjāmī’ti vadesi. ‘Tena hi, samaṇa, ubbhamukho bhuñjasī’ti iti puṭṭho samāno ‘na khvāhaṃ, bhagini, ubbhamukho bhuñjāmī’ti vadesi. ‘Tena hi, samaṇa, disāmukho bhuñjasī’ti iti puṭṭho samāno ‘na khvāhaṃ, bhagini, disāmukho bhuñjāmī’ti vadesi. ‘Tena hi, samaṇa, vidisāmukho bhuñjasī’ti iti puṭṭho samāno ‘na khvāhaṃ, bhagini, vidisāmukho bhuñjāmī’ti vadesi’’.
「沙门,你向下而食吗?」如此被问时,你说「姊妹,我确实不向下而食」。「那么,沙门,你向上而食吗?」如此被问时,你说「姊妹,我确实不向上而食」。「那么,沙门,你向方而食吗?」如此被问时,你说「姊妹,我确实不向方而食」。「那么,沙门,你向无方而食吗?」如此被问时,你说「姊妹,我确实不向无方而食」。
‘‘Kathañcarahi , samaṇa, bhuñjasī’’ti? ‘‘Ye hi keci, bhagini, samaṇabrāhmaṇā vatthuvijjātiracchānavijjāya micchājīvena jīvikaṃ kappenti, ime vuccanti, bhagini, samaṇabrāhmaṇā ‘adhomukhā bhuñjantī’ti. Ye hi keci, bhagini, samaṇabrāhmaṇā nakkhattavijjātiracchānavijjāya micchājīvena jīvikaṃ kappenti, ime vuccanti, bhagini, samaṇabrāhmaṇā ‘ubbhamukhā bhuñjantī’ti. Ye hi keci, bhagini, samaṇabrāhmaṇā dūteyyapahiṇagamanānuyogāya micchājīvena jīvikaṃ kappenti, ime vuccanti, bhagini, samaṇabrāhmaṇā ‘disāmukhā bhuñjantī’ti. Ye hi keci, bhagini, samaṇabrāhmaṇā aṅgavijjātiracchānavijjāya micchājīvena jīvikaṃ kappenti, ime vuccanti, bhagini, samaṇabrāhmaṇā ‘vidisāmukhā bhuñjantī’’’ti.
「那么,沙门,你如何而食呢?」「姊妹,凡任何沙门婆罗门以地相之畜生明、以邪命而营生活者,姊妹,这些沙门婆罗门被称为『向下而食者』。姊妹,凡任何沙门婆罗门以星相之畜生明、以邪命而营生活者,姊妹,这些沙门婆罗门被称为『向上而食者』。姊妹,凡任何沙门婆罗门以使者往来之勤行、以邪命而营生活者,姊妹,这些沙门婆罗门被称为『向方而食者』。姊妹,凡任何沙门婆罗门以肢相之畜生明、以邪命而营生活者,姊妹,这些沙门婆罗门被称为『向无方而食者』。」
‘‘So khvāhaṃ, bhagini, na vatthuvijjātiracchānavijjāya micchājīvena jīvikaṃ kappemi, na nakkhattavijjātiracchānavijjāya micchājīvena jīvikaṃ kappemi, na dūteyyapahiṇagamanānuyogāya micchājīvena jīvikaṃ kappemi, na aṅgavijjātiracchānavijjāya micchājīvena jīvikaṃ kappemi. Dhammena bhikkhaṃ pariyesāmi; dhammena bhikkhaṃ pariyesitvā bhuñjāmī’’ti.
「姊妹,我不以地相之畜生明、以邪命而营生活,不以星相之畜生明、以邪命而营生活,不以使者往来之勤行、以邪命而营生活,不以肢相之畜生明、以邪命而营生活。我如法地寻求食物;如法地寻求食物后而食。」
Atha kho sūcimukhī paribbājikā rājagahe rathiyāya rathiyaṃ, siṅghāṭakena siṅghāṭakaṃ upasaṅkamitvā evamārocesi – ‘‘dhammikaṃ samaṇā sakyaputtiyā āhāraṃ āhārenti; anavajjaṃ samaṇā sakyaputtiyā āhāraṃ āhārenti. Detha samaṇānaṃ sakyaputtiyānaṃ piṇḍa’’nti. Dasamaṃ.
那时,针嘴女游方者在王舍城从街道到街道、从十字路口到十字路口走近后,如此宣告——「沙门释迦子们如法地食用食物;沙门释迦子们无过地食用食物。请给沙门释迦子们施食!」第十经。

其摄颂——
Vivekajaṃ avitakkaṃ, pīti upekkhā catutthakaṃ;
由远离生、无寻,喜、舍、第四,
Ākāsañceva viññāṇaṃ, ākiñcaṃ nevasaññinā;
空无边与识,无所有、非想,
Nirodho navamo vutto, dasamaṃ sūcimukhī cāti.
灭尽说为第九,第十针嘴女。
