Tuda byathāyaṃ (tu) nuda kkhepaṇe likha lekhaṇe,
当身受痛苦时,或在投掷、书写之中,
Kuca saṅkocane rica kkharaṇe khaca bandhane;
或在躬身、收缩、摩擦、捆绑之际;

Uca sadde samavāye vijī bhayacalesu (ca),
于高声的集会中,因恐怖而战栗;
(Vattate) bhuja koṭille valañjo (tu) valañjane;
施行弯臂折肘的动作时,出现弯曲;

Bhaja sevāputhakkāre ruja roge aṭā’ṭane,
受苦于服务、工作、疾病和拘束之中;
Kuṭacchede (ca) koṭille agā sajjhāyanā’disu;
或在撕裂骨折、关节不合、睡眠等状态时;

Puṇo subha kiraye vatta vattane cata yācane,
复善之财物,租税与财产积聚,施舍与祈求,
Putha pāke pūtibhāve kuthasaṃklesane’(pi ca;)
成熟者之果实,纯洁本性,及其净除染污,虽然如此;

(Ubho dhātu) putha-patha vitthāre vida jānane,
二者之法,成熟与不成熟,详尽了知其义,
Hada uccāra ussagge-cintāyaṃ mida hiṃsane;
心怀忏悔,发语必慎,谨防伤害此法;

Nandha vinandhane thīna-puna saṅghātavācino,
于烦恼难忍、陷入苦痛之众讼之语,当知遣除,
Kapa acchādane vappa vāraṇe khipa peraṇe;
于谬言遮蔽、诽谤责难、仓促放纵污秽之处,持正断焉。

Supo saye chupo phasse (vattate) capa sāntvane,
安稳卧眠与柔和的触合相应,表示调伏止息之意,
Nabha (dhātu) vihiṃsāyaṃ rumbha uppīḷanādisu;
空界元素在伤害、摩擦、压迫诸处不受损害;

Sumbha saṃsumbhane jambha jambhane jubha nicchubhe,
相互摩擦、搓揉、捻碎、切削、分解之处也是如此,
Ṭhubha niṭṭhubhane camu adane chamu hīḷane;
揉搓、拔去、剥落、剥脱、消减之处亦复如是;

Jhamu dāhe chamu adane irīya vattane’(pi ca),
灼烧、撕裂、拔除、肢体动作活动处亦同此理,
Kira (dhātu) vikiraṇe giro nigiraṇā’disu;
藏界元素在发散、聚集、凝聚等诸处不为所伤。

Phura sañcalanādīsu kura saddā’danesu (ca),
在粪便、搅动等处,口中发出的声音以及啃咬处,
Khuracchede vilikhaṇe ghura bhīme gilā’dane;
蹄子受伤、跺脚、猛烈恐惧和咽喉吞食之际,

Tila snehe cila vāse hila hāve silu’ñchane,
被芝麻脂、泥浆湿润、生长破枯、汗水流淌、皮肤脱落等之时,
Bila bhede thūla caye kusacchedana pūraṇe;
洞穴破裂、体积硕大、切割草根、填补空隙之所,

Visappavese pharaṇe disā’tisajjanā’disu
饥饿渴望之中巡视、观察异域恶象等,
Phula phasse musa theyye thusa appikirayāya (tu)
触摸花朵、驱赶蚊虫,为减少痛苦而
Guḷa mokkhe guḷa parivattanamhi (tudādayo;)
树根因着树根的转动而产生果实(例如枝杈等)。
Hū bhuvādayo luttavikaraṇā
火、水等自然现象皆因缘起而生起变化。
§96
96.
Hū-bhū sattāya (mu’ccanti) i ajjhāne gatimhi (ca,)
生命存在者借由内在觉知达至解脱之境界。
Khā-khyā (dvayaṃ) pakathane ji jaye ñā’vabodhane;
吃饮二事经说分明,因其知见而显现清净。
§97
97.
Sī-ḷī vehāsagamane ṭhā gatīvinivuttiyaṃ,
持戒者深信戒律,如行于稳固之路,趋向安止解脱。
Nī pāpaṇe muna ñāṇe hana hiṃsāgatīsu (’pi)
不造诸恶之比库,在智慧修习中除灭伤害之业。
§98
98.
Pārakkhaṇamhi pā pāne brū vācāyaṃ viyattiyaṃ,
于观察中,若出现言语上的恶行与不正之口说,
Bhā dittiyaṃ mā pamāṇe (atho) yā pāpuṇe (siyā;)
不要对第二者加以轻视,或说其获得了不当之物;
§99
99.
(Duvepi) rā-lā ādāne vā gatīgandhanesu (pi,)
即便二者在盗取财物或在彷徨恶臭之处,
Asa (dhātu) bhuvi (khyāto) si saye sā samatthiye;
若缺乏稳定的四大根本,其境界便难以坚固,安稳。
