Sāmaññaphalasutta沙门果经
Pucchā – tenāvuso bhagavatā…pe… sammāsambuddhena sāmaññaphalasuttaṃ kattha bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:尊者,世尊……正自觉者,于何处宣说了『沙门果经』?
Vissajjanā – rājagahe bhante jīvakassa komārabhaccassa ambavane bhāsitaṃ.
答曰:在王舍城,尊者,在吉瓦卡的小儿园中宣说。
Pucchā – kenāvuso saddhiṃ bhagavatā bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:尊者,与世尊一同时,于何处宣说?
Vissajjanā – raññā bhante māgadhena ajātasattunā vedehiputtena saddhiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
答曰:尊者,与玛嘎达王未生怨与王子佛弟子一同宣说。
Pucchā – taṃ panāvuso suttaṃ catunnaṃ suttanikkhepānaṃ katarena suttanikkhepena bhagavatā nikkhittaṃ.
问曰:尊者,此经属于四部经集中哪一集,世尊用何种集部将其分别?
Vissajjanā – catunnaṃ bhante suttanikkhepānaṃ pucchāvasikena suttanikkhepena nikkhitaṃ bhagavatā.
答曰:此为四部经集中的一部分,世尊以问答法分别集部。
Ajātasattu未生怨
Pucchā – sā panāvuso pucchā kenākārena samuppannā.
问者——这位比库又是因何缘起而生起问意的呢?
Vissajjanā – rājā bhante māgadho ajāsattu vedehiputto tadahuposathe pannarase komudiyā cātumāsiniyā puṇṇāya puṇṇamāya rattiyā yena bhagavā tenupasaṃkami, upasaṃkamitvā bhagavantaṃ diṭṭheva dhamme saṃdiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ pucchi, evaṃ kho sā bhante pucchā uppannā.
觉者——陛下,当时摩揭陀王阿阇世是韦提比库之子,于十五夜的满月期四个月安居,世尊在此时前往,于已然所见之法中,询问了圣果沙门之觉悟,故此陛下问意由此生起。
Rammaṇīyā vata bho dosinā ratti, abhirūpā vata bho dosinā ratti, dassanīyā vata bho dosinā ratti, pāsādikā vata bho dosinā ratti, lakkhaññā vata bho dosinā ratti….
确实可喜啊!在夜间,此恶人可亲之美;此令人爱慕之美;此可见之美;此可敬之美;此具相之美……
Kaṃ nukhvajja samaṇaṃ vā brāhmaṇaṃ vā payirupāseyyāma….
何人能供养沙门或婆罗门?何人能供养?
Yaṃ no payirupasato cittaṃ pasīdeyya….
谁的供养令我们的心喜悦?……
Charājīvaka车基瓦咖
Tvaṃ pana samma jīvaka kiṃ tuṇhīsi –
然你,正直之吉德,为何寂寞独处?
Ayaṃ deva amhākaṃ bhagavā arahaṃ sammāsambuddho amhākaṃ ambavane viharati.
这尊天人谓我等世尊为阿拉汉、正自觉者,我等世尊住于此世间。
Taṃ kho pana bhagavantaṃ evaṃ kalyāṇo kittisaddo abbhuggato ‘‘itipi so bhagavā arahaṃ sammāsambuddho vijjācaraṇasampanno sugato lokavidū anuttaropurisadammasārathi satthādevamanussānaṃ buddho bhagavā’’ti.
然而对世尊已有如此良好誉念:“的确此人是世尊、阿拉汉、正自觉者,具足智慧与行持,善逝,世间之知者,无上善人之导引,天人师表,人中觉者、世尊。”
Taṃ devo bhagavantaṃ payirupāsatu, appevanāma devassa bhagavantaṃ payirupāsato cittaṃ pasīdeyya.
当此天人供养世尊,如此一来供养天人之心亦随之欢喜。
Tena hi samma jīvaka hatthiyānāni kappāpehi.
因此,世尊使得长老基瓦卡将被杀之象救护脱离祸害。
Kappitāni kho te deva hatthiyānāni, yassa dāni kālaṃ maññasi.
被救护之象即为此天人所念时所知之象。
Ajātasattu未生怨
Kicci maṃ samma jīvaka na vañcesi, kacci maṃ samma jīvaka na palambhesi….
是否长老基瓦卡不曾欺骗我?是否长老基瓦卡未曾索取我?……
Mā bhāyi mahārāja, mā bhāyi mahārāja….
莫害怕,大王,莫害怕,大王……
Na taṃ deva vañcemi, na taṃ deva palambhāmi….
我既不欺骗天人,也不从天人处索取……
Ajātasatta未生怨
Eso mahārāja bhagavā, eso mahārāja bhagavā majjhimaṃ thambhaṃ nissāya puratthābhimukho nisinno purakkhato bhikkhusaṅghassa….
世尊啊,大王,世尊依靠在中座上,面向东方,坐在僧团之前……
Iminā me upasamena udayabhaddo kumāro samannāgato hotu…
愿因我此等平静,心善之王子得以具足……
Agamā kho tvaṃ mahārāja yathā pemaṃ.
大王,你要如此爱护他前来。
Puccheyyāmahaṃ bhante bhagavantaṃ kiñcideva desaṃ sace me bhagavā okāsaṃ karoti pañhassa veyyākaraṇāya.
我欲请问尊者世尊,若世尊给我机会,讲解问题的解释。
Puccha mahārāja yadākaṅkhasi.
请问,大王,尔欲何问?
Yathā nu kho imāni bhante puthusippāyatanāni, seyyathidaṃ, hatthārohā assārohā rathikā dhanuggahā celakā calakā piṇḍadāyakā (peyyāla) gaṇakā muddikā, aññānipi evaṃ gatikāni puthusippāyatanāni, te tena sippena sandiṭṭhikaṃ sippaphalaṃ jīvanti, te tena attānaṃ sukhenti pīṇenti, mātāpitaro sukhenti, pīṇenti, puttadāraṃ sukhenti pīṇenti, mittāmacce sukhenti pīṇenti samaṇabrāhmaṇesu uddhaggikaṃ dakkhiṇaṃ patiṭṭhapenti sovaggikaṃ sukhavipākaṃ saggasaṃvattanikaṃ, sakkā nu kho bhante evameva diṭṭheva dhamme sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ paññapetuṃ.
请问,尊者,这些兵器和用具,比如铁斧、木斧、战车、弓箭、矛、盾牌、布施者、杂役、传令兵、监军、邮差等,都是这些兵器装备。这些兵器装备的士兵,靠这种兵器获得眼见的兵器果报而生存,以这种果报使自身获得安乐,得到安乐则父母亦得安乐,兄弟妻子好友亦得安乐,对沙门婆罗门也以献给丰盛的供养而居住,享受快乐的福报与天界的回报。尊者,岂能如此所见之道理,实证眼见的沙门果报呢?
Pucchā – tadā āvuso kathaṃ bhagavatā rājā ajātasattu vedehi putto paṭipucchito kathañca tena bhagavato ārocitaṃ.
问曰——当时,大兄,请问,世尊如何以犹如未生怨的阿阇世王的儿子为问者,及怎样由他诠释世尊所宣说?
Vissajjanā – ‘‘abhijānāsi no tvaṃ mahārāja imaṃ pañhaṃ aññe samaṇabrāhmaṇe pucchitāti, abhijānāmahaṃ bhante aññe samaṇabrāhmaṇe pucchitāti, yathākathaṃ pana te mahārāja byākariṃsu, sace te agaru, bhāsassūti na kho me bhante garu, yatthassa bhagavā nisinno bhavantarūpo vāti, tenehi mahārāja bhāsassū’’ti, evaṃ kho bhante tadā bhagavatā rājā māgadho ajātasattu vedehi putto paṭipucchito, evaṃ kho bhante tena tadā bhagavato ārocitaṃ.
答曰——“大王,你可知,还有他人向世尊提问此问题吗?我自知晓,确有他人向尊者提问。然尔者,大王,他人如何诠说?若其诠释未尊重,言论中不显尊敬,譬如庄严处正是世尊端坐之处,唯当用此言对你说。”当时,尊者即以此对犹如未生怨的摩揭陀王之子阿阇世所提问者如此回答。
Pūraṇakassapa ayūvāda布勒纳咖萨巴无命论
Pucchā – kathañcāvuso pūraṇakassapassa santike pucchāvissajjanā ahosi.
问曰——那么,朋友,如何才有向布勒纳咖萨巴亲近而提出问题者呢?
Vissajjanā – ekamidaṃ bhante samayaṃ rājā māgadho ajātasattu vedehiputto yena pūraṇo kassapo tenupasaṅkami, upasaṅkamitvā pūraṇaṃ kassapaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ pucchi, atha kho bhante pūraṇo kassapo karoto kho mahārāja kārayato, chindato chedāpayato, pacato pācāpayato, socayato socāpayato (peyyāla) karoto na karīyati pāpaṃ tyādinā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa saṃdiṭṭhi kaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho samāno akiriyaṃ byākāsi, evaṃ kho bhante pūraṇassa kassapassa santike pucchāvissajjanā ahosi.
答曰——当时,摩揭陀王阿阇世之子亲自前往布勒纳咖萨巴处,亲近他后即向其问及眼见的通称沙门果报。彼时,布勒纳咖萨巴既制作又焚烧,剁割又烹煮,忧心忡忡地使其忧虑之情流露(此Peyyāla句),此时却未造恶。沙门阿阇世王子问现前果报之事,布勒纳咖萨巴却未作答。如此,于布勒纳咖萨巴处有人提出问题者也。
Pūraṇakassapavāda布勒纳咖萨巴之说
Nissiriko vata āvuso pūraṇassa kassapassa vādo anatthasaṃhito jigucchanīyo ativiya bhayānako, ye tassa vacanaṃ sotabbaṃ saddhātabbaṃ maññeyyuṃ, tesaṃ taṃ assa dīgharattaṃ ahitāya dukkhāya, ettakeneva ajja mayaṃ pucchāvissajjanaṃ thapessāma.
朋友啊,果真无依无靠的论说,如同布满漏洞的咖萨巴的观点,无用且令人嫌恶,过于可怕,凡是认为那言语应当听受、应当信受者,对于他们来说,将带来长久的损害和痛苦。因何如此?今天我们将提出问题并作答解释。
Makkhaligosāla ayūvāda马卡离果萨喇的无因论
Pucchā – purimadivase āvuso mayā sāmaññaphalasuttassa nidānapariyāpannāni pucchitabbaṭṭhānāni kānici kānici pucchitāni, tayā ca suṭṭhu vissajjitāni, ajja pana yathānuppattamakkhaligosāya vādato paṭṭhāya pucchissāmi, makkhali pana āvuso
问——昨日,朋友,我曾问过关于《沙门果经》的开头部分中应当询问的问题,问过若干,且已经得到圆满的解释。今天则将就现今这由莫奢梨哥萨(Makkhali Gosāla)引发的争论的起因加以提问。莫奢梨啊,
Gosālo raññā māgadhena ajātasattunā vedehiputtena sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho kathaṃ byākāsi.
莫奢梨,汝以已往生起之见,对摩揭陀国的国王阿阇世,阿阇世之子维提,面见时当面论述了沙门果报(善恶因果)之理。
Vissajjanā – ekamidaṃ bhante samayaṃ rājā māgadho ajātasattu vedehiputto yena makkhaligosālo tenupasaṃkami, upasaṃkamitvā makkhaliṃ gosālaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ pucchi, atha kho bhante makkhaligosālo rājānaṃ māgadhaṃ ajātasattuṃ vedehiputtaṃ etadavoca ‘‘natthi mahārāja hetu natthi paccayo sattānaṃ saṃkilesāya, ahetū apaccayā sattā saṃkilissanti. Natthi mahārāja hetu natthi paccayo sattānaṃ visuddhiyā, ahetū apaccayā sattā visujjhanti, (peyyāla) cullāsīti mahākappino satasahassāni, yāni bāle ca paṇḍite ca sandhāvitvā saṃsaritvā dukkhassantaṃ karissanti, tattha natthi ‘imināhaṃ sīlena vā vatena vā tapena vā brahmacariyena vā aparipakkaṃ vā kammaṃ paripācessāmi, paripakkaṃ vā kammaṃ phussa phussa byantiṃ karissāmī’ti hevaṃ natthi. Doṇamite sukhadukkhe, pariyantakate saṃsāre natthi hāyanavaḍḍhane, natthi ukkaṃsāvakaṃse. Seyyathāpi nāma suttapuṭṭhe khitte nibbeṭhiyamānameva paleti, evameva bāle ca paṇḍite ca sandhāvitvā saṃsaritvā dukkhassantaṃ karissantī’’ti, itthaṃ kho bhante rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa makkhaligosālo sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho samāno saṃsārasuddhiṃ byākāsi.
回答——尊者啊,曾有一时,摩揭陀贤主阿阇世,王子维提之子,摩奢梨·莫奢梨亲自前来,见摩奢梨问询当面沙门果报之理,莫奢梨对摩揭陀国王阿阇世之子维提说道:“没有诸王,没有因缘,能使众生之污垢生起;若无因缘,则污垢必清净。没有诸王,没有因缘,能使众生清净;无因缘则清净生起。小咖毕那曾说过无数句话,智者愚者听闻反复思量,在轮回中止息痛苦。但没有人因为我的戒律、威仪、苦行或出家修行,无成熟业能成就成就;或成熟业必然生起之说,皆无此理。苦乐中的施舍、轮回之终结,皆无地主,一切俱灭无所增长。譬如火中煤炭,虽不断燃烧,终会熄灭。愚者智者思辨之语,议论纷纭,将会使苦痛平息。”于是,尊者,在此时间,摩揭陀王阿阇世之子维提,面见莫奢梨·莫奢梨,问询了当面沙门果报之理,得到了有关轮回清净的解释。
Makkhaligosālavāda马卡离果萨喇之说
Ayampi āvuso vādo nissirikoyeva anatthasaṃhito jigucchanīyo ati viya bhayānako, ye tassa vacanaṃ sotabbaṃ saddhātabbaṃ maññeyyuṃ, tesaṃ taṃ assa dīgharattaṃ ahitāya dukkhāya.
这番论说,朋友啊,确实无依无靠,毫无益处,令人嫌弃,十分可怖,凡有所谓应听受、应信受之义者,对于他们将是长期的损害与痛苦。
Ajitakesakambalavāda阿基德盖萨甘跋喇之说
Pucchā – athāparampi pucchāmi, ajito pana āvuso kesakambalo raññā māgadhena ajātasattunā vedehiputtena sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho kathaṃ byākāsi.
再次问道——现在我还愿再问,朋友,阿耆多(Ajita)摩揭陀王阿阇世的子维提,关于当面沙门果报之理,是如何阐释的?
Vissajjanā – ekamidaṃ bhante samayaṃ rājā māgadho ajātasattu vedehiputto yena ajito kesakambalo tenupasaṅkami, upasaṅkamitvā ajitaṃ kesakambalaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ pucchi, atha kho bhante ajito kesakambalo rājānaṃ māgadhaṃ ajātasattuṃ vedehiputtaṃ etadavoca ‘‘natthi mahārāja dinnaṃ, natthi yiṭṭhaṃ, natthi hutaṃ, natthi sukatadukkaṭānaṃ kammānaṃ phalaṃ vipāko, natthi ayaṃ loko, natthi paro loko, natthi mātā, natthi pitā, natthi sattā opapātikā, natthi loke samaṇabrāhmaṇā sammaggatā sammāpaṭipannā, ye imañca lokaṃ parañca lokaṃ sayaṃ abhiññā sacchikatvā pavedenti. (Peyyāla) bāle ca paṇḍite ca kāyassa bhedā ucchijjanti vinassantī’’ti. Itthaṃ kho bhante rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa ajito kesakambalo sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho samāno ucchedaṃ byākāsi.
释疑——有一次,尊者,马嘎达王国的王者未生怨之子,名曰维提披,身披耆婆袈裟的阿耆多前来求见。阿耆多来到后,问及那未生怨王者及其子维提披现见的沙门果报。于是阿耆多对王者马嘎达及其子维提披说:『陛下,没有给予的果报,没有最尊贵的果报,没有听闻过的果报,没有善恶相应之业的果报与其后续,没有此间的世界,也没有彼方的世界,没有母亲,没有父亲,没有诸有情未曾生起的存在,没有世界上的沙门婆罗门行正道、正修行诸人,那个自觉并示现此世界与彼世界实相的人。愚者与智者的身体终将分别,逐渐消灭。』以上就是王者马嘎达的儿子维提披当面对沙门果报问询时,阿耆多所演说的灭尽之理。
Ajitakesakambala阿基德盖萨甘跋喇
Ayampi kho āvuso nissirikoyeva, anatthasaṃhito jigucchanīyo ati viya bhayānako, ye tassa vacanaṃ sotabbaṃ saddhātabbaṃ maññeyyuṃ, tesaṃ taṃ assa dīgharattaṃ ahitāya dukkhāya.
再者,尊者,以上这种言说就好比没根基的事物,没有利益,仅令人厌恶,极为可怕,对那些应当听闻、应当信受此语的人,长期而言,只会带来害处与痛苦。
Pakudhakaccāyanavāda巴古达咖吒亚那之说
Pucchā – athāparampi pucchāmi, pakudho pana āvuso kaccāyano raññā māgadhena ajātasattunā vedehiputtena sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho kathaṃ byākāsi.
问——接下来我还要问,住持阁下,国王未生怨的儿子维提披问及现见沙门果报时,阿伽多·迦叉延如何说明?
Vissajjanā – ekamidaṃ bhante samayaṃ rājā māgadho ajātasattu vedehiputto yena pakudho kaccāyano tenupasaṅkami, upasaṅkamitvā pakudhaṃ kaccāyanaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ pucchi, atha kho bhante pakudho kaccāyano rājānaṃ māgadhaṃ ajāsattuṃ vedehiputtaṃ etadavoca ‘‘sattime mahārāja kāyā akaṭā akaṭavidhā animmitā animmātā vañcā kūṭaṭṭhā esikaṭṭhāyitā, te na iñjanti, na vipariṇāmenti, na aññamaññaṃ byābādhenti, nālaṃ aññamaññassa sukhāya vā dukkhāya vā sukhadukkhāya vā. Katame satta, pathavīkāyo, āpokāyo, tejokāyo vāyokāyo, sukhe, dukkhe, jīve sattame. Ime sattakāyā akaṭā akaṭavidhā animmitā animmātā vañcyā kūṭaṭṭhā esikaṭṭhāyitā, te na iñjanti, na vipariṇāmenti, na aññamaññaṃ byābādhenti, nālaṃ aññamaññassa sukhāya vā dukkhāya vā sukhadukkhāya vā. Tattha natthi hantā vā ghātetā vā, sotā vā sāvetā vā, viññātā vā viññāpetā vā, yopi tiṇhena satthena sīsaṃ chindati, na koci kiñci jivitā voropeti, sattannaṃtveva kāyānamantarena satthaṃ vivaramanupatatī’’ti. Itthaṃ kho bhante rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa pakudho kaccāyano sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho samāno aññena aññaṃ byākāsi.
释疑——有一次,尊者,马嘎达王国的王者未生怨之子维提披,身披耆婆袈裟的阿伽多·迦叉延前来求见。阿伽多走近后,问及现见的沙门果报。随后,阿伽多对王者马嘎达与未生怨及其子维提披说:『陛下,七种生命体的身体是无造作、无所造作、无为、无所为、善巧狡诈、无障碍、本性直立如柱,不会损害,不会变异,也不会彼此为苦或乐或苦乐所扰。哪七种?即地界的、 水界的、 火界的、 风界的,在乐、苦、生存状态中的七种生命体。该七种身体无造作、无所造作、无为、无所为、善巧狡诈、无障碍、本性直立如柱,不会彼此损害,不会相互改变,也不会互相为苦或乐或苦乐所困扰。这里没有杀害者,也没有被杀者,没有听闻者,也没有教导者,即使三界的教主斩断头颅,也不阻止其生命存在,这七种生命的身体内,灵魂存在而不隐没。』以上便是王者马嘎达之子维提披问及沙门果报时,阿伽多·迦叉延当面对答如是所示。
Pakudhakaccāyanavāda巴酷达咖吒亚那论
Ayampi kho āvuso vādo purimavādoviya nissirikoyeva anatthasaṃhito jigucchanīyo ativiya bhayānako.
同样,尊者,这种论辩如同旧时的争辩,没有根基,没有利益,令人厌恶,极为可怖。
Nigaṇṭhanāṭaputtavāda尼干陀纳德子论
Pucchā – athāparampi pucchāmi, nigaṇṭho panāvuso nāṭaputto raññā māgadhena ajātasattunā vedehiputtena sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho kathaṃ byākāsi.
问——接下来我还要问,持戒者乃达波托,马嘎达国王未生怨之子维提披问及现见沙门果报时,如何诠释?
Vissajjanā – ekamidaṃ bhante samayaṃ rājā māgadho ajātasattu vedehiputto yena nigaṇṭho nāṭaputto tenupasaṃkami, upasaṃkamitvā nigaṇṭhaṃ nāṭaputtaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ pucchi, atha kho nigaṇṭho nāṭaputto rājānaṃ māgadhaṃ ajātasattuṃ vedehiputtaṃ etadavoca, ‘‘idha mahārāja nigaṇṭho cātuyāmasaṃvarasaṃvuto hoti, kathañca mahārāja
辨者答曰:尊者,有一时,摩揭陀国王未生怨,名叫韦提比都太子,迦叶波者那的弟子乃固陀·那阇子曾来见他,近前问讯,问及当面见此沙门果报之事。迦叶波·那阇子对摩揭陀国王未生怨韦提比说道:“大王,此处迦叶波虽受持四念戒,何以为持呢?”
Nigaṇṭho cātuyāmasaṃvarasaṃvuto hoti, idha mahārāja nigaṇṭho sabbavārivārito ca hoti, sabbavāriyutto ca, sabbavāridhuto ca, sabbavāriphuṭo ca. Evaṃ kho mahārāja nigaṇṭho cātuyāmasaṃvarasaṃvuto hoti, yato kho mahārāja nigaṇṭho evaṃ cātuyāmasaṃvarasaṃvuto hoti. Ayaṃ vuccati mahārāja nigaṇṭho gatatto ca yatatto ca ṭhitatto cā’’ti. Itthaṃ kho bhante rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa nigaṇṭho nāṭaputto sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho samāno cātuyāmasaṃvaraṃ byākāsi.
迦叶波答曰:“我是受持四念戒者。大王,我持四念戒者,乃周围全被障碍、阻碍、毁坏、崩破所围绕者。正因为如此,大王,我受持四念戒。此谓大王,迦叶波已得去来,无论努力,践行安住于此。”如是,摩揭陀国王未生怨韦提比当面问迦叶波,那阇子此沙门果报,四念戒受持情况已表明。
Nigaṇṭhavāda尼干陀论
Etassa panāvuso vāde koci sāsanānulomavādo atthi, asuddhaladdhitāya pana esopi vādo jigucchanīyoyeva, seyyathāpi bhojanaṃ gūthamissaṃ gārayhoyeva ārakā parivajjitabboyeva, seyyathāpi visasaṃsaṭṭho āpānīyakaṃso.
若诸位中有护法法理之人对此有所辩解,是赞同正法领域的。然若因不洁净所得而持此种见解,则应当羞耻。譬如饮食已堆积腐臭,如同醉人戒避,亦如持有肮脏之器皿。

Pucchā – athāparampi pucchāmi, sañcayo panāvuso belaṭṭhaputto sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho kathaṃ byākāsi.
问曰:“又当问尔,尊者,印达比徒,亦曾当面问此沙门果报,如何宣说?”
Vissajjanā – ekamidaṃ bhante samayaṃ rājā māgadho ajātasattu vedehiputto yena sañcayo belaṭṭhaputto tenupasaṅkami, upasaṅkamitvā sañcayaṃ belaṭṭhaputtaṃ etadavoca, ‘‘yathā nu kho imāni bho sañcaya puthusippāyatanāni, seyyathidaṃ, hatthārohā assarohā…pe… sakkā nu kho bho sañcaya evameva diṭṭheva dhamme sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ paññapetu’’nti, evaṃ vutte bhante sañcayo belaṭṭhaputto rājānaṃ māgadhaṃ ajātasattuṃ vedehiputtaṃ etadavoca.
辨者答曰:“有一时,摩揭陀国王未生怨,印达比徒近前问讯,问道:‘这些果报是否如百般技艺所显?譬如骑象、骑马……能否以此见法,正见此间沙门之果报?’如此问时,印达比徒对摩揭陀国王未生怨韦提比如是答言。”
‘‘Atthi parolokoti iti ce maṃ pucchasi, atthi paro lokoti iti ce me assa, atthi paro
‘若问我是否有他世,若问我是否有他世,那么我也拥有彼世……’
Lokoti iti te naṃ byākareyyaṃ, evantipi me no, tathātipi me no, aññathātipi me no, notipi me no, no notipi me no…pe… neva hoti na na hoti tathāgato paraṃ maraṇāti iti ce maṃ pucchasi, neva hoti na na hoti tathāgato paraṃ maraṇāti iti ce me assa, neva hoti na na hoti tathāgato paraṃ maraṇāti iti te naṃ byākareyyaṃ, evantipi me no, tathātipi me no, aññathātipi me no, notipi me no, no notipi me no’’ti. Itthaṃ kho bhante rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa sañcayo belaṭṭhaputto sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho samāno vikkhepaṃ byākāsi.
“世界”一词不能这样解释,我这里也不这样说,亦不别样解释,也不否定,也不肯定……如此反复说明:如来不存在,也非不存在,不入于灭,是不是这样呢?如果你问我,如来不是而不是不存在,不入于灭,我若有此说,我给你解释:我这里不这样说,亦不这样,亦不别样,也不是,也不肯定……如是说。此乃大王马嘎达国未生怨王子韦提毗多问现观果,于沙门果实的问题时,世尊所说明的要义。
Titthiayūvāda外道游方者论
Sabbepi āvuso ete channaṃ satthārānaṃ vādā nissirikāyeva jigucchanīyāyeva anatthasaṃhitāyeva, bālānaṃ bhiyyoso mattāya sammohāya saṃvattanti anatthāya.
诸位,这些都是隐蔽的师长教说,是无实质的空话,是令人厌恶的无益之语,更为愚者多生迷惑,实无益处。
Ajja pana āvuso kālo atikkanto, sveyeva bhagavatā vuttaṃ paṇītaṃ pasaṭṭhaṃ sandiṭṭhikaphalaṃ pucchāma.
今日诸位,当时光已逝,我们当问正声世尊所宣说的殊胜清净现观果实。
Pucchā – purimadivasesu āvuso sāmaññaphalasuttassa pubbabhāge yāva chasatthāramicchāvādapariyosānaṃ pucchanavissajjanaṃ amhehi kataṃ, ajja pana yathānuppattaṃ bhagavatā desitasāmaññaphalasuttādhikāre pucchāvissajjanaṃ karissāma. Bhagavā pana āvuso raññā māgadhena ajātasattunā vedehiputtena sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho kathaṃ byākāsi.
问言——先前数日诸位就《沙门果实经》前半部,从六百余种邪说问答相应已作澄清,今乃依世尊所说之正理关于《沙门果实经》后半部,我们将作问答澄清。世尊如何答复马嘎达大王未生怨之子韦提毗多,关于现观果实之义?
Vissajjanā – bhagavā bhante tidhā vibhajitvā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ puṭṭho byākāsi.
答复——世尊将现观果实问题对马嘎达大王未生怨之子韦提毗多分三部分解说。
Pucchā – kathañcāvuso bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattuno vedehiputtassa paṭhamaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ desesi.
问言——世尊,如何为马嘎达大王未生怨之子韦提毗多阐述首部分现观果实?
Vissajjanā – dāsaṃ bhante pabbajitaṃ upamābhāvena niddisitvā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa bhagavā paṭhamaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ desesi.
释曰:「Vissajjanā」者,谓比库以奴仆出家为喻,称之为自动舍离,世尊于祇园国王玛嘎达,名曰阿闍世,子曰韦提比库,第一次宣说通见的沙门果报。
Sohaṃ bhante bhagavantampi pucchāmi, yathā nu kho imāni bhante puthusippāyatanāni seyyathidaṃ…pe… sakkā nu kho bhante eva meva diṭṭheva dhamme sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ paññapetuṃ –
问曰:「我亦敬奉世尊,当若是此众多外道所行之道,如是……世尊是否能为我明说,所见法中真正的通见沙门果报乎?」
Acchariyaṃ āvuso abbhutaṃ āvuso, yāva svākhātassa buddhasāsanassa mahiddhikatā mahānubhāvatā, yatrahi nāma dāsopi nihīnajacco evaṃ svākhāte buddhasāsane pabbajitvā attano issarabhūtena raññāpi vandanīyattaṃ garukaraṇīyattaṃ pāpuṇissati, supaññattametaṃ bhagavatā paṭhamaṃ sandiṭṭhikaphalaṃ.
答曰:「奇异哉,朋友!殊胜哉,朋友!乃至于自所传的佛法极为广大深厚伟大效力,若有人虽为奴仆,依此广传佛法出家,凭其主宰身份,即使为王亦必敬仰重重,必得尊敬与礼遇,此为世尊第一次宣说的通见果报,极为周密完备。」
Pucchā – kathaṃ panāvuso bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattuno vedehiputtassa dutiyaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ desesi.
问曰:「然世尊,祇园国王阿闍世之子韦提,比库又示现第二义真通见沙门果报,何如所为?」
Vissajjanā – kassakaṃ bhante pabbajitaṃ upamābhāvena dassetvā bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ desesi.
释曰:「所谓Vissajjanā者,比库以奴仆出家为喻,世尊于祇园国王阿闍世之子韦提,比库,宣说第二义的通见沙门果报。」
Acchariyaṃ āvuso abbhutaṃ āvuso, yāva buddhasāsanassa svākhātatā mahiddhikatā mahānubhāvatā, yatrahi nāma kassa kopi guṇarahito evaṃ svākhāte buddhasāsane pabbajitvā raṭṭhadhipatinā manussaloke devabhūtena raññāpi garukaraṇīyataṃ vandanīyataṃ pāpuṇissati, supaññattametaṃ āvuso bhagavatā dutiyaṃ sandiṭṭhikaphalaṃ.
答曰:「奇异哉,朋友!殊胜哉,朋友!乃至佛法传设广为流布,威力广大显赫,若有人虽无任何德行,照此所传佛法出家,国王及人间与天界皆必敬重,亦必礼敬崇重,此即世尊所宣说明第二真通见果报,周密完备。」
Pucchā – kathañcā panāvuso bhagavā purimehi sandiṭṭhikasāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ rañño desesi.
问曰:世尊以何等方式,为王先前所见的通行的圣果,更加广博精纯地宣说此通行圣果。
Vissajjanā – bhagavā bhante buddhuppādato paṭṭhāya kulaputtassa pabbajita bhāvaṃ, tassa ca sīlasampadaṃ, tassa ca indriyesu guttadvārataṃ, ariyañcasatisampajaññaṃ, ariyañca santuṭṭhiṃ, pañcannañca nīvaraṇānaṃ pahānaṃ, cattāri ca jhānāni, aṭṭha ca vijjāyo, tāhi tāhi upamāhi vitthārato vibhajitvā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca desesi.
答曰:世尊在佛出世后,观察到王子出家之事实,随即分别说法,论及其戒德圆满、根门闭故、圣分别智与圣满足、五盖断除、四禅、八种智通,依序分别展开,从而向摩揭陀国王阿阇世的臣子宣说了此先前所见通行之圣果,更加广博且精纯。
Sakkā pana bhante diṭṭheva dhamme sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ, purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca paññapetuṃ.
尊者说:确可如此,世尊以所见之法,向王宣说通行的圣果,比先前所见的更加周详精纯完整。
Sakkā mahārājā, tena hi mahārāja suṇohi sādhukaṃ manasikarohi bhāsissāmi.
尊者说:伟大的国王啊,愿国王听闻清净教诲,专心留意,我当讲述。
Pucchā – kathañca panāvuso bhikkhu sīlasampanno hoti, kathañca bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattuno vedehiputtassa cūḷasīlaṃ vibhajitvā desesi.
问曰:尊者,戒德具足的比库如何?世尊如何区别宣说摩揭陀国阿阇世王臣子的小戒?
Vissajjanā – ‘‘kathañca mahārāja bhikkhu sīlasampanno hoti. Idha mahārāja bhikkhu pāṇātipātaṃ pahāya pāṇātipātā paṭivirato hoti nihitadaṇḍo nihitasattho lajjī dayāpanno, sabbapāṇabhūtahitānukampī viharati. Idampissa hoti sīlasmiṃ’’ evamādinā bhante bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa chabbīsatiyā ākārehi cūḷasīlaṃ vibhajitvā desesi.
答曰:“伟大的国王,比库如何具足戒德?此处国王,比库弃绝杀生,远离杀生之戒,断定刀杖,起敬惧心,慈悲怜悯,周遍护念一切众生。此即是戒德。”以此为基准,世尊以二十六分纲,区别宣说阿阇世国王臣子的小戒。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu sādhu āvuso yaṃ bhikkhu evaṃ svākhāte buddhasāsane saddhāpabbājito iminā ca cūḷasīlena samannāgato vihareyya.
善哉善哉,尊者,善哉善哉,尊者。若有比库如是受持世尊教法,信心受出家,且具足此小戒,应当安住如是生活。
Idāni pana kālo atikkanto.
如今时节已过。
Suve yathānuppattaṭṭhānato paṭṭhāya pucchāvissajjanaṃ karissāma.
现在依顺适当时机,我们将提问和回答。
Pucchā – kathaṃ panāvuso rañño māgadhassa ajātasattuno vedehiputtassa majjhimasīlañca mahāsīlañca vibhajitvā desesi.
问:尊者,如何说,摩揭陀王阿闍世子对中道戒与重戒加以分别而宣说?
Vissajjanā – ‘‘yathā vā paneke bhonto samaṇabrāhmaṇā saddhādeyyāni bhojanāni bhuñjitvā te evarūpaṃ bījagāmabhūtagāmasamārambhaṃ anuyuttā viharanti. Seyyathidaṃ. Mūlabījaṃ khandhabījaṃ phaḷubījaṃ aggabījaṃ bījabījameva pañcamaṃ, iti evarūpā bījagāmabhūtagāmasamārambhā paṭivirato hoti. Idampissa hoti sīlasmiṃ’’ evamādinā bhante bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa majjhimasīlañca mahāsīlañca vitthārato vibhajitvā desesi.
答:诸尊者,譬如有比库对于释迦牟尼教法,知信而食,持根本种、五根种、重种、上首种种种如同种子,这些种子彼此并不混杂,分明自持。此即于戒中持此分别,世尊以此向摩揭陀王阿闍世子详细宣说中道戒和重戒。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ bhikkhu evaṃ svākhāte buddhasāsane saddhāpabbajito evaṃ ariyena sīlena samannāgato vihareyya.
善哉善哉,尊者。善哉,确实如是。若比库如是受持世尊教法,信心受出家,具足圣者戒,则应如是安住生活。
Pucchā – kathaṃ panāvuso ariyaṃ indriyasaṃvarañca ariyaṃ satisampajaññañca ariyaṃ santosañca bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vibhajitvā desesi.
问曰:「尊者,祇洹比库,当云何修习圣洁根门的节制、圣洁的正念正智与圣洁的知足?」世尊对摩揭陀王未生怨如是分明宣说。
Vissajjanā – idha mahārāja bhikkhu cakkhunā rūpaṃ disvā na nimittaggāhī hoti nanubyañjanaggāhī, yatvādhikaraṇamenaṃ cakkhundriyaṃ asaṃvutaṃ viharantaṃ abhijjhādomanassā pāpakā akusalā dhammā anvāssaveyyuṃ, tassa saṃvarāya paṭipajjati, rakkhati cakkhundriyaṃ, cakkhundriye saṃvaraṃ āpajjati, evamādinā ca.
释曰:「于此,尊大王,若有比库眼识色,然不取相缘分别,或不取相缘分别,随着机缘不守护眼根,堕于贪欲忧恼,行诸恶不善法,他亦当修此节制,护持眼根,令眼根得节制,如是等义。」
Idha mahārāja bhikkhu satisampajaññena samannāgato hoti, abhikkante paṭikkante sampajanakārī hoti,
此处,尊大王,比库具足正念正智,处诸境所至,正知正觉,
Ālokite vilokite sampajānakārī hoti, samiñjite pasārite sampajānakārī hoti, saṅghāṭipattacīvaradhāraṇe sampajānakārī hoti, asite pīte khāyite sāyite sampajānakārī hoti, uccārapassāvakamme sampajānakārī hoti, gate ṭhite nisinne sutte jāgarite bhāsite tuṇhībhāve sampajānakārī hoti, evaṃ kho mahārāja bhikkhu satisampajaññena samannāgato hoti.
观照明察,宜于收敛散乱,著持袈裟衣钵,饮食起居,言说默然,行立坐卧,受听清醒,诸处具足正念正智,尊大王,比库如是具足正念正智而住。
Kathañca mahārāja bhikkhu santuṭṭho hoti, idha mahārāja bhikkhu santuṭṭho hoti kāyaparihārikena cīvarena kucchiparihārikena piṇḍapātena.
又云,尊大王,比库安然知足,知足于身之衣服破损,知足于乞食所得,
Evamādinā bhante bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa ariyañca indriyesuguttadvārataṃ ariyañca satisampajaññaṃ ariyañca santosaṃ vibhajitvā desesi.
如是世尊于摩揭陀王未生怨,耶提比库处,分明宣说圣洁根门的节制、圣洁正念正智及圣洁知足。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ bhikkhu evaṃ svākhāte buddhasāsane saddhāpabbajito iminā ca ariyena indriyasaṃvarena samannāgato, iminā ca ariyena satisampajaññena
善哉善哉,好友!善哉,好友!若有比库如是分明称说,于世尊教法中由信心而出家,并具足圣者所具的根尘调伏,且由圣者所具的正念正知,
Samannāgato , imāya ca ariyāya santuṭṭhiyā samannāgato vihareyya.
亦具足由此圣者而生的满足,则应具足而安住。
Pucchā – kathaṃ panāvuso bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa nīvaraṇapahānaṃ vibhajitvā desesi.
问曰:尊者,彼世尊在摩揭陀王国,向未生怨王子维提弗多说一切烦恼摘除法时,究竟如何教示?
Vissajjanā – so evaṃ ariyena sīlakkhandhena samannāgato, ariyena indriyasaṃvarena samannāgato, ariyena satisampajaññena samannāgato, ariyāya santuṭṭhiyā samannāgato, vivittaṃ senāsanaṃ bhajati araññaṃ rukkhamūlaṃ pabbataṃ kandaraṃ giriguhaṃ susānaṃ vanapattaṃ abbhokāsaṃ palālapuñjaṃ. So pacchābhattaṃ piṇḍapātapaṭikkanto nisīdati pallaṅkaṃ ābhuñjitvā ujuṃ kāyaṃ paṇidhāya parimukhaṃ satiṃ upaṭṭhapetvā. So abhijjhaṃ loke pahāya vigatābhijjhena cetasā viharati…pe… tassime pañca nīvaraṇe pahīne attani samanupassato pāmojjaṃ jāyati, pamuditassa pīti jāyati, pītimanassa kāyo passambhati, passaddhakāyo sukhaṃ vedehi, sukhino cittaṃ samādhiyati. Evaṃ kho bhante bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa nīvaraṇappahānaṃ vibhajitvā vitthārato desesi.
释曰:彼比库由圣者道德集合而具足,凭圣者根尘调伏而具足,凭圣者正念正知而具足,因圣者满足而具足。彼独自享用清净住处,林间树根,山野洞穴,幽深岩洞,荫密森林,空旷广场,落叶堆积之处。彼施捨食后,于席上端坐,正身正念,安住于面前。彼离贪欲而住,心无贪著……五盖已断,内观自身,生喜,生悦,身亦安宁,安宁之身觉受愉悦,心安住于定。如此尊者,于摩揭陀王国未生怨王子维提弗多处,将烦恼摘除法详尽而广博地宣说。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ bhikkhu evaṃ svākhāte buddhasāsane saddhāpabbajito evaṃ pañcanīvaraṇe pajahitvā tehi cittaṃ visodhetvā vihareyya.
善哉善哉,好友!善哉,好友!若比库如是分明称说,于世尊教法中由信心而出家者,如此断除五盖,借此净除心意而安住,
Pucchā – kathañcāvuso bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa paṭhamaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ desesi, purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca.
问曰:尊者,彼世尊在摩揭陀王国未生怨王子维提弗多处,为其初次亲见之出家果位宣说,同时比前面所宣说的首见出家果更为广大、纯熟者,如何说?
Vissajjanā – so vivicceva kāmehi vivicca akusalehi dhammehi savitakkaṃ savicāraṃ vivekajaṃ pītisukhaṃ paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharati…pe… idampi kho mahārāja sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca
「放逸」者,谓离诸欲乐,离不善法,内心正思正观,由此生出离群独处之乐及喜,于此第一禅定而住……如此,尊者,彼大王啊,此为世俗所现见之出离果,比从前所现见出离果更胜一层。
Paṇītatarañca . Evaṃ kho bhante bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa paṭhamaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca desesi.
又胜一层者,如是尊敬的世尊,于摩揭陀国王未生怨王子身边,宣说第一种现见之世俗出离果,此出离果比先前所现见的出离果更为胜妙。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ bhikkhu evaṃ svākhāte buddhasāsanasaṅkhāte dhammavinaye pabbajitvā evaṃ paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ
善哉善哉,尊敬的善友!真善哉,尊敬的善友!若有比库依佛所示教法律仪,在佛法中受具足戒,作如是第一禅,
Upasampajja vivekajena pītisukhena attano kāyaṃ abhisandeyya parisandeyya paripūreyya.
则于内心与身心离群独处,凭喜乐安住,致心与身安涩,令身心周满圆满。
Pucchā – kathañcāvuso bhagavā dutiyañca tatiyañca catutthañca sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ desesi, purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca.
问曰:「尊敬的善友,世尊为何以此法教示第二、第三、第四种现见之世俗出离果?彼果较先前所现见之出离果更胜妙且纯净乎?」
Vissajjanā – puna ca paraṃ mahārāja bhikkhu vitakkavicārānaṃ vūpasamā ajjhattaṃ sampasādanaṃ cetaso ekodibhāvaṃ avitakkaṃ avicāraṃ samādhijaṃ pītisukhaṃ dutiyaṃjhānaṃ upasampajja viharati evamādinā bhante bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa dutiyañca tatiyañca catutthañca sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca desesi.
「放逸」者,又谓比库于分别思虑息灭之后,内心宁静安稳,唯有一境无分别念,离散烦恼念,入定生喜乐,于此第二禅定而住。诸如之前,尊敬的世尊于摩揭陀国王未生怨王子处,宣说第二、第三、第四种现见之世俗出离果,其出离果比前现见出离果更为胜妙且纯净。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ bhikkhu evaṃ svākhāte buddhasāsanasaṅkhāte dhammavinaye saddhāpabbajito evaṃ dutiyajhānañca tatiyajhānañca catutthajhānañca upasampajja tehi jhānasukhehi attano kāyaṃ abhisandetvā parisandetvā paripūretvā vihareyya.
善哉善哉,尊者,善哉!甚善哉,尊者!比库若如是依教奉行,受持佛陀所宣说的教法与律法,有信心而出家,已分别出第二禅、第三禅、第四禅,入受其乐;当以这些禅乐,观护修持自身之身,令其安稳、清净、圆满,而行于静处。
Pucchā – kathañca panāvuso bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa aparampi sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ desesi, purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca.
问曰:尊者,佛陀如何为摩揭陀国王,未生怨者维迪呵布特,宣说后出世间见的通达沙门果,其胜过先前所现通达沙门果,且更明净纯熟?
Vissajjanā – so evaṃ samāhite citte parisuddhe pariyodāte anaṅgaṇe vigatūpakkilese mudubhūte kammaniye ṭhite ānañjappatte ñāṇadassanāya cittaṃ abhinīharati abhininnāmeti, so evaṃ pajānāti ‘‘ayaṃ kho me kāyo rūpī cātumahābhūtiko mātāpettikasambhavo odanakummāsūpacayo aniccucchādanaparimaddanabhedanaviddhaṃsanadhammo, idañca pana me viññāṇaṃ ettha sitaṃ ettha paṭibandhanti…pe… idampi kho mahārāja sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca. Evaṃ kho bhante bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa aparampi sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca desesi.
答曰:彼于定心清净已,亦不染污,除斥杂感,心意纯正,立于清净业,得无恐怖;于慧见觉知力中,摄持护念其心,知已得持,不失不忘;彼如是知:“此身乃我此心所住,有色形四大所成,生由父母,饥渴积聚,因缘所遮,循坏变异,非常非恒,受其时际变坏损坏,是依此等,现有五支色身;又此识,虽有,然为我所缚,所拘束……”,以此知见,确觉所说后出世间见的通达沙门果,远胜先前所现通达沙门果,更为明净纯熟。是故,世尊亦为摩揭陀国王,未生怨者维迪呵布特,宣说后出世间见的通达沙门果,胜过先前所现通达沙门果,更为明净纯熟。
Suññāraṃgā paviṭṭhassa, santacittassa bhikkhuno. Amānusī ratī hoti, sammādhammaṃ vipassato.
空舍已入之士,心安定者比库,若修习正见观察,其乐非人所乐。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ bhikkhu evaṃ svākhāte buddhasāsanasaṅkhāte dhammavinaye saddhāpabbajito evaṃ ñāṇadassanaṃ uppādetvā evaṃ ñāṇadassanena samannāgato hutvā vihareyya.
善哉善哉,尊者,善哉!甚善哉,尊者!比库若如是依教奉行,受持佛陀所宣说的教法与律法,有信心而出家,生起如此慧见,具足于此慧见而修持于静处。

问曰:尊者,佛陀如何宣说后出世间见的通达沙门果,其胜过先前所现通达沙门果,更为明净纯熟?
Vissajjanā – so evaṃ samāhite citte parisuddhe pariyodāte anaṅgaṇe vigatūpakkilese mudubhūte kammaniye ṭhite ānañjappatte manomayaṃ kāyaṃ abhinimmānāya cittaṃ abhinīharati abhininnāmeti, so imamhā kāyā aññaṃ kāyaṃ abhinimmināti rūpiṃ manomayaṃ sabbaṅgapaccaṅgiṃ ahīnindriyaṃ evamādinā bhante bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa aparampi sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca desesi.
释义——在心念专注清净、净化、无染、不放逸、无杂质、善业所摄、安住且不动摇的情况下,心以神通之力使非物质的心身受用体显现,称之为“身心显现”。如此,此心身显现体得以从此一身转移到他身,呈现有形的、心所摄的、具诸法因缘的、无根界的。大德,世尊以此原理,向摩揭陀国王未生怨子传授加行果实的现见法门,比之前已传授的现见果实诸法更为广大高妙而清净。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ bhikkhu evaṃ svākhāte buddhasāsanasaṅkhāte dhammavinaye saddhāpabbajito evaṃ visesena manomayañāṇena samannāgato vihareyya.
善哉!善哉!尊者,诚然如是。比库若依佛法正法及戒律有信心而出家,特备神通知见而修习,就能如是安住。
Pucchā – bhagavā āvuso rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa jhānacatukkasaṅkhātañca paṭhama dutiya vijjāsaṅkhātañca sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ dassetvā, aparaṃ kīdisaṃ saṃndiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ desesi, purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca.
问曰:世尊,摩揭陀国王未生怨子已示现初、二禅及学道等四禅之初果,现在又宣说何种另外的现见果实?其比前面已现见的四禅果实更广大、高妙之义何在?

释义——在心念专注清净、净化、无染、不放逸、善业所摄、安住且不动摇的情况下,借神通之力令心转移,成为他身显现,称之为“身心显现”。此神通多种多样,能幻化多形,亦可化为一形;有时显多身,有时又合为一身……诸种神通力,尊大王,此乃比先前所示现的更广大高妙之现见果实。斯理故,世尊向摩揭陀国王未生怨子亦宣说此广大而清净的现见果实。

惊异啊,尊者!奇妙啊,尊者!于佛法正法之流传中,果如其所言:出家之比库,正勤修行,亦能亲证此大神通和大智慧之神力。

释迦文佛言:此处有一心,禅定集聚,心念清净,洗涤成就,无染无垢,远离烦恼,柔和安稳,恪守戒律,安住戒相,心随天耳通心念运行与止息。此心随天耳通净洁无垢,超越凡俗,人天两界皆能闻声,无论远近近旁,天界人间皆可闻知……这是诸大王啊,与先时众多对世间果报所见所闻之普通果报相比,更为广大完备、清净美好。是以世尊于摩揭陀国王未生怨子中,亦如是演说普通果报,超越先时所说之普通果报,且更广大清净圆满。

尊敬的朋友,这实在是奇妙非常,乃至佛法宣说之完整之处,正是在此处:于如是宣说之佛法内,信解出家,正当修行之弟子,亦能获得殊胜天耳通之见识。

Ānañjappatte cetopariyañāṇāya cittaṃ abhinīharati abhininnāmeti, so parasattānaṃ parapuggalānaṃ cetasā ceto paricca pajānāti, sarāgaṃ vā cittaṃ sarāgaṃ cittanti pajānāti, vītarāgaṃ vā cittaṃ vītarāgaṃ cittanti pajānāti…pe… idampi kho mahārāja sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca. 于安住无染,具足正知心识中,此心念运行与止息,能够了知他心,能认识他方众生之心,知晓心志或是有贪著之心,或无贪著之心……此亦是诸大王,与先时诸普通果报相比,更为广大安稳清净圆满者。是以尊者世尊于摩揭陀国未生怨子等,于此亦如是宣说普通果报,超越以往所宣之普通果报,更为广大清净圆满。

尊敬的朋友,这实在奇妙非凡,乃至佛法宣说之完整之处,即在此:于如是佛法宣说之境界,信解出家,正行修行之弟子亦得殊胜殊妙之正知他心慧。

解释——这是因为修心专注纯净、净除烦恼、无惰怠、身念正持、适宜修行之人,能证得前生回忆之智,心随之来往,这称为“心随前生”。此人能忆起多种前生,比如一道族中之生两个种族……诸如此类。大王啊,此眼见的出家果报,比前面诸眼见果报更为完备纯熟。因此,尊敬的世尊对摩揭陀国王未生怨的儿子——迦叶尊者,也宣说如此眼见的出家果报,比先前所说更加完备纯熟。

解释——这是因为修心专注纯净、净除烦恼、无惰怠、身念正持、适宜修行之人,能证知众生生死轮回之生灭,心随其后而转,此称为“心随众生生死”。他以清净无染的神通之眼,观察众生死往转生,知其高低凹凸、色泽尊贱、善恶功德,明了众生心得所作,诸如此类。大王啊,此眼见的出家果报,比前诸果报更加完备纯熟。正是由此因缘,尊敬的世尊对摩揭陀国王未生怨的儿子迦叶尊者,也宣说如此眼见的出家果报,比先前更加完备纯熟。

询问道:『世尊方将结束时,尊者您如何开示最高之圣果?』

Imasmā ca pana mahārāja sandiṭṭhikā sāmaññaphalā aññaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ uttaritaraṃ vā paṇītataraṃ vā natthīti. Itthaṃ kho bhante bhagavā rañño māgadhassa ajātasattussa vedehiputtassa pariyosānaṃ sandiṭṭhikaṃ sāmaññaphalaṃ purimehi sandiṭṭhikehi sāmaññaphalehi abhikkantatarañca paṇītatarañca desesi.
答说:『正如是,诸根清净,心定无染,净洁清净,无欲无痴,心地柔顺,修行适宜,弃绝烦恼,心意摄持,称作「心已引摄」,这是大王,眼见的最高圣果,胜过旧时所见的圣果,更清净更纯正。因此,大王,在此眼见的圣果中,没有其他比之更胜或更清净的。如此尊者世尊为摩揭陀王、未生怨之阿阇世王、室利比库子,所说的圆满眼见圣果,胜过以前所见圣果,更清净纯正。』
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso, yaṃ bhikkhu buddhasāsane saddhāpabbajito evaṃ svākhāte dhammavinaye sammāpaṭipanno āsavakkhayañāṇaṃ pāpuṇitvā dukkhassantaṃ karoti.
善哉善哉,尊者!善哉,诚然,凡比库投信佛法,依止戒律,正行实修,获得断尽贪嗔痴烦恼的智,达致苦的止息,证得寂灭。
Pucchā – kathaṃ panāvuso rājā māgadho ajātasattu vedehiputto imissā desanāya pariyosāne bhagavati ca desanāyañca pasanno pasannākāraṃ akāsi, kīdisañca ānisaṃsaṃ paṭilabhi.
复问:『尊者,摩揭陀王未生怨,室利比库子,在此开示圆满法时,及对世尊宣说圆满教法时,欢喜宁静,如理作何?又得何因缘?』
Vissajjanā – evaṃ vutte bhante māgadho ajātasattu vedehiputto bhagavantaṃ etadavoca, abhikkantaṃ bhante, abhikkantaṃ bhante, seyyathāpi bhante nikkujjitaṃ vā ukkujjeyya, paṭicchannaṃ vā vivareyya…pe… ajjatagge pāṇṇupetaṃ saraṇaṃ gatanti, ayañhi bhante rājā pitumāritakālato paṭṭhāya neva rattiṃ na divā niddaṃ paṭilabhati, satthāraṃ pana upasaṅkamitvā imāya madhurāya ojavantiyā dhammadesanāya sutakālato paṭṭhāya niddaṃ paṭilabhati, tiṇṇaṃ ratanānaṃ mahāsakkāramakāsi, puthujjanikāya saddhāya samannāgato nāma iminā raññā sadiso nāhosi, anāgate pana vijitāvī nāma paccekabuddho hutvā parinibbāyissati. Evaṃ kho bhante rājā māgadho ajātasattu vedehiputto desanāpariyosāne pasanno pasannākāramakāsi, idisañca bhante mahānisaṃsaṃ paṭilabhi.
答云:『阿难,摩揭陀王未生怨,室利比库子如此称说世尊,尊者:圆满清净,圆满清净,如若内心燃烧,他人焚烧,或遮蔽揭露……此时日夜备受担忧,夜不成眠,唯对导师至诚听闻甘露法音时得安眠。其奉献三宝顶礼,世俗人不能等同于此王持信。将来,名为胜林者,成就辟支佛,将证涅槃。如此,摩揭陀王未生怨室利比库子在圆满法开示时欢喜安稳,得大善缘。』
Ambaṭṭhasutta安巴德经
Pucchā – tenāvuso bhagavā jānatā arahatā passatā sammāsambuddhena ambaṭṭhaṃ ṭāma suttaṃ kattha kaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ.
再问:『尊者,得知,阿拉汉、如来、正觉者昔日说过《树枝经》,其起止在哪里?』
Vissajjanā – kosalesu bhante janapade icchānaṅgale nāma kosalānaṃ brāhmaṇagāme ambaṭṭhaṃ nāma māṇavaṃ brāhmaṇassa pokkharasātissa antevāsiṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ.
毗沙迦那曰:国萨拉诸地,尊者,于婆罗门村中名叫伊叉那耆的婆罗门家,居住着一名学童,名叫安跋特,那婆罗门出家在波迦舍里经常念诵讲说。
Soṇadaṇḍasutta索那丹达经

问曰:尊者,世尊所讲的《索那棒经》起初在哪里开始讲述?

毗沙迦那答:尊者,在缘起之地掀提国有一名婆罗门,名索那棒,是从那时开始宣说的。
Kūṭadantasutta古德丹德经

问曰:尊者,世尊所讲的《阇耆象牙经》起初于哪里开始讲述?
Vissajjanā – magadhesu bhante khāṇumate nāma brāhmaṇagāme kūṭadanta brāhmaṇaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ.
毗沙迦那答:尊者,在摩竭陀诸地,有名叫阇努摩地的婆罗门村落,阇耆象牙婆罗门从那里开始讲说。

问曰:尊者,世尊所讲的《摩诃梨经》是从哪里开始开示?

问曰:善男子,请问世尊所说的《跛足》经,起首于何处?

问曰:友人,这《善经》从何处、何人开讲、由谁宣说?

释迦牟尼尊者,长老阿难多法器,善男子多底耶子,在马邑(萨瓦提)开始宣说此经。

问曰:友人,世尊于何处、何时开讲铁锈经?
Vissajjanā – kosalesu bhante janapade sālavatikāyaṃ lohiccaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ.
维萨钦那——尊者,在国萨拉境内,迦罗窣陀婆罗门主持之萨拉瓦蒂僧院所宣说。
Tevijjasutta三明经
Pucchā – tevijjasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ.
询问——尊者,世尊于何处何时宣说了三明经?
Vissajjanā – kosalesu bhante manasākaṭe nāma kosalānaṃ brāhmaṇagāme vāseṭṭhaṃ bhāradvājaṃ māṇavaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ.
维萨钦那——尊者,在国萨拉,有名为摩罗庄的婆罗门村落中,巴拉德瓦迦学童所宣说。
Mahāpadānasutta大本经
Pucchā – tena āvuso bhagavatā jānatā passatā arahatā sammāsambuddhena mahāpadānasuttaṃ dīghanikāye mahāvagge porāṇakehi saṅgitikārehi paṭhamaṃ saṅgitaṃ bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
询问——尊者,由如来、阿拉汉、正自觉者所知、所见的长赞经,在长部大品集、旧诸版本首经中,世尊于何处何时、以何因缘开示?
Vissajjanā – sāvatthiyaṃ bhante sambahule bhikkhū ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, sambahulānaṃ bhante bhikkhūnaṃ pacchābhattaṃ piṇḍapātapaṭikkantānaṃ maṇḍalamāḷe sannisinnānaṃ sannipatitānaṃ pubbenivāsapaṭisaṃyuttā dhammīkathā udapādi, itipi pubbenivāso itipi pubbenivāsoti, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
维萨钦那——尊者,在沙瓦提,有多比库宣说,众多比库饭后乞食回避后,围坐为茎蔓成环相,前生回忆相应的法义由此产生,即以昔时生起,如是昔时生起,说于此因缘。
Mahānidānasutta大缘经
Pucchā – mahānidānasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
询问——尊者,如来、阿拉汉、正自觉者宣说的大因缘经,于何处何时、以何因缘开示?
Vissajjanā – kurūsu bhante kammāsadhamme nāma kurūnaṃ nigame āyasmantaṃ ānandaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, āyasmā bhante ānando bhagavantaṃ upasaṅkamitvā etadavoca ‘‘acchariyaṃ bhante, abbhutaṃ bhante, yāva gambhīrocāyaṃ bhante paṭiccasamuppādo
诘问者说:『尊者,请问关于业感之法的“恶业”一类,聚集有恶业的群落时,尊者曾开示给尊者阿难长老。尊者阿难长老前来谛听世尊言讲时说:「世尊,甚为希奇,甚为殊胜,至此深奥的缘起。」』
Gambhīrāvabhāso ca, atha ca pana me uttānakuttānako viya khāyatī’’ti, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
又说:『其深奥的现象已现,而于我而言,犹如从高处陡下的水流宣泄而出。』这是该处所论起的内容。
Mahāparinibbānasutta大般涅槃经
Pucchā – mahāparinibbānasuttaṃ panāvuso bahuanusandhikaṃ, bahudesanā saṅgahaṃ, buddhassa bhagavato parinibbānāsannavasse pavattaaṭṭhuppattidīpakavacanapabandhabhūtaṃ, tasmā taṃ antarābhedavasena vibhajja paricchijja paricchijja pucchissāmi, tatthāvuso bhagavatā paṭhamaṃ
提问者说:『尊者,关于《大般涅槃经》的讲说,诸多铺陈,多种法要汇总,其中含佛陀临终之近时所说阐明原理的深妙语句。故我将分段分节次第问答,愿尊者于其中第一次说明』。
Rājūnaṃ aparihāniyadhammadesanā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitā.
『国王不可破坏之法的教说是何时、从何处、由世尊以何主题所开示?』
Vissajjanā – rājagahe bhante vassakāraṃ brāhmaṇaṃ magadhamahāmattaṃ ārabbha bhāsitā, vassakāro bhante brāhmaṇo magadhamahāmatto bhagavantaṃ upasaṅkamitvā etadavoca ‘‘rājā bho gotama māgadho ajātasattu vedehiputto vajjī abhiyātukāmo so evamāha ahaṃ hime vajjī evaṃ mahiddhike evaṃ mahānubhāve ucchecchāmi vajjī vināsessāmi vajjī anayabyasanaṃ āpādessāmī vajjī’’ti tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitā.
答曰:『在王舍城,尊者,是雨季期间,一位婆罗门,名为马嘎陀大统领者,向世尊顶礼,言说:「摩揭陀国王果德玛,未生怨之子,愿击败伐阇族,欲灭其国,毁灭伐阇,为伐阇带来彻底破灭的祸患。」以上是该处所讨论的内容。』
Pucchā – bhikkhūnaṃ panāvuso aparihāniyadhammadesanā bhagavatā kattha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitā.
提问者说:『尊者,关于比库们不可破坏之法之说,世尊何时何地、就何缘起语所开示?』
Vissajjanā – tasmiṃyeva bhante rājagahe tasmiṃyeva vatthusmiṃ bhāsitā.
关于放逸,尊者,这正是在王舍城、就在那个场所中谈论的。
Jarāsutta老经
Pucchā – dhammādāso āvuso dhammapariyāyo bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsito.
问曰:「亲近法者啊,法义论述者啊,世尊在哪一处、关于哪一事开始谈论的?」
Vissajjanā – nātike bhante giñjakāvasathe āyasmantaṃ ānanda ārabbha bhāsito, āyasmā bhante ānando bhagavantaṃ upasaṅkamitvā nātikiyānaṃ dvādasannaṃ puggalānaṃ gatiabhisamparāyaṃ pucchi, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsito.
关于放逸,尊者,世尊是在吉尼加宅舍内,由具寿阿难尊者开始讲说的。具寿阿难尊者侍奉世尊,走近那十二位内部众人所居之所探问;正是在那个场所中谈论的,尊者。
Attadīpa dhammadesanā以自己为岛之法说
Pucchā – attadīpadhammadesanā panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitā.
问曰:「关于自己为灯的法义说,亲近者啊,世尊在哪一处、关于哪一事开始谈论的?」
Vissajjanā – vesāliyaṃ bhante veḷuvagāmake āyasmantaṃ ānandaṃ ārabbha bhāsitā, āyasmā bhante ānando bhagavato gilānavuṭṭhitassa aciravuṭṭhitassa gelaññā bhagavato gelaññena attano khedapattakāraṇaṃ ārocesi, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitā.
关于放逸,尊者,世尊是在维萨离城的竹林园中由具寿阿难尊者开始讲说的。具寿阿难尊者向世尊陈说病苦已生、不久将灭之苦恼原因,正是在那个场所中谈论的,尊者。
‘‘Tasmātihānanda attadīpā viharatha attasaraṇā anaññasaraṇā’’.
「因此,阿难啊,住于自己为灯,应当以自己为归依,决不以他者为归依。」
Pucchā – bhagavatā āvuso purima dutiyadivase pucchitavissajjitakkamena attadīpadhammadesanañca aññāni ca dhammadesanāni kathetvā pariniṭṭhita sabbabuddhakiccena āyusaṅkhāro kattha ossaṭṭho.
问曰——世尊啊,尊者前日及次日,曾以舍弃瞋恚之意而发问,又宣说自灯之法,同时又说过其他法,终结一切如来所作,寿命蕴何处终没?
Vissajjanā – vesāliyaṃ bhante cāpāle cetiye mārena pāpimatā yācito bhagavā satena sampajānena āyusaṅkhāro ossaṭṭho.
答曰——婆娑利,尊者,在阿波罗舍碑宅,恶人摩睺罗伽所逼问时,世尊以觉知正念,寿命蕴已终结。
‘‘Parinibbātu dāni bhante bhagavā, parinibbātu sugato, parinibbāna kālo dāni bhante bhagavato.
世尊已然灭尽,善逝已灭尽,世尊之涅槃时至,现世尊之涅槃期已到。
Apposukko tvaṃ pāpima hoti, na ciraṃ tathāgatassa parinibbānaṃ bhavissati, ito tiṇṇaṃ māsānaṃ accayena tathāgato parinibbāyissati.
恶人不善,世尊远离痛苦,涅槃不久,未来三个月后,如来必将入灭。
Catumahāpadesa四大教法
Pucchā – catumahāpadesadhammadesanā panāvuso bhagavatā kattha bhāsitā.
问曰——尊者啊,世尊四大教诫之法何处宣说?
Vissajjanā – bhoganagare bhante ānande cetiye bhāsitā.
答曰——享乐城市,尊者,在阿难尊者之碑宅所宣说。
Paripakko vayo mayhaṃ, parittaṃ mama jīvitaṃ. Pahāya vo gamissāmi, kataṃ me saraṇamattano.
我的年岁已届成熟,我的生命已到终结。我将舍弃你们而去,我应当依止何处呢?
Saṃvega悚惧
Pucchā – catusaṃvejanīyakathā panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitā.
问曰:尊者,请问世尊曾在哪一方、就何事说过四种感应法?
Vissajjanā – kusinārāyaṃ bhante āyasmantaṃ ānandaṃ ārabbha bhāsitā, āyasmā bhante ānando bhagavantaṃ etadavoca ‘‘pubbe bhante disāsu vassaṃvuṭṭhā bhikkhū āgacchanti tathāgataṃ dassanāya, te mayaṃ labhāma manobhāvanīye bhikkhū dassanāya, labhāma payirupāsanāya. Bhagavato pana mayaṃ bhante accayena na labhissāma manobhāvanīye bhikkhū dassanāya, na labhissāma payirupāsanāyā’’ti, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitā.
答曰:尊者,在拘尸那城,尊敬的长老阿难尊者开始讲说,阿难尊者对世尊如是说:『尊者,过去每年雨季,众比库前来礼敬如来,为我们获得内心欢喜而得观礼,为我们得惠供养。但尊者,我们以后将不再获得内心欢喜的观礼,不再获得惠供养。』于是在此事上世尊为尊者讲说。
Yehi keci ānanda cetiyacārikaṃ āhiṇḍantā pasannacittā kālaṃ karissanti, sabbete kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapajjissanti hu –
凡来护持阿难尊者舍利塔者,心清净而出家修行,则终时身虽裂散,往生安适天上诸善道。
Pucchā – kathañcāvuso bhagavā bhikkhūnaṃ mātugāmesu paṭipajjitabbavattaṃ kathesi.
问曰:尊者,世尊如何教导比库们在母家中应当行持之法?
Vissajjanā – adassanaṃ ānandāti ca anālāpo ānandāti ca sati ānanda upaṭṭhabbetabbāti ca evaṃ kho bhante bhagavā mātugāmesu paṭipajjitabbākāraṃ kathesi.
答曰:不见、不言、应当恭敬——世尊如是教导比库们于母家应当如何行持。
Mahāsudassanasutta大善见经
Pucchā – mahāsudassanasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:大善逝经经文中,上尊大德开示于何处,讲说于何事?
Vissajjanā – tissaṃyeva bhante kusinārāyaṃ āyasmantaṃ ānandaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, āyasmā bhante ānando bhagavantaṃ etadavoca ‘‘mā bhante bhagavā imasmiṃ khuddakanagarake
答曰:世尊恰于拘尸那城,开始对敬重的阿难长者讲法。阿难尊者向世尊言:“世尊,请勿于此小城、疏林城、树林城涅槃。尚有诸多大城,如旃陀罗、王舍城、舍卫城、沙盖德、桑比城、巴拉纳西,世尊可于此涅槃。此处有广阔豪华的刹利、婆罗门、居士大宅,皆欢喜奉行如来遗体礼敬。”乃于此事开示。
Ujjaṅgalanagarake sākhānagarake parinibbāyi. Santi bhante aññāni mahānagarāni. Seyyathidaṃ, campā, rājagahaṃ, sāvatthī, sāketaṃ, kosambī, bārāṇasī, ettha bhagavā parinibbāyatu, ettha bahū khattiyamahāsālā brāhmaṇa mahāsālā gahapati mahāsālā tathāgate abhippasannā. Te tathāgatassa sarīrapūjaṃ karissantī’’ti, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:上尊大德昨日问及大善逝经,曾传授于称为苏跋陀之游方比库,此人是佛弟子最后的随从。尊者如何评价?
Pucchā – bhagavā āvuso purimadivase pucchita vissajjitakkamena mahāsudassana suttantaṃ desetvā subhaddaṃnāma paribbājakaṃ buddhaveneyyesu pacchimasāvakabhūtaṃ kathaṃ vinesi.
答曰:凡苏跋陀修学正法正律,未得圣圣八正道,无论沙门居士皆未证得。第二次及第三次亦同。第四次亦不能证得。故此苏跋陀比库,虽住于正法之中,却未得圣道。世尊于是称其为佛弟子最后的证人。
Vissajjanā – yasmiṃ kho subhadda dhammavinaye ariyo aṭṭhaṅgiko maggo na upalabbhati, samaṇopi tattha na upalabbhati, dutiyopi tattha samaṇo na upalabbhati, tatiyopi tattha samaṇo na upalabbhati, catutthopi tattha samaṇo na upalabbhati (peyyāla). Ime ca subhadda bhikkhū sammā vihareyyuṃ, asuñño loko arahantehi assa, evaṃ kho bhante bhagavā subhaddaṃ paribbājakaṃ buddhaveneyyesu pacchimaṃ sakkhisāvakaṃ vinesi.
问曰:末时,世尊对敬重的阿难尊者说何语?如何示现开示?以何言激励比库?如何无余犹如断诸缠累而证涅槃?
Parinibbānasutta般涅槃经
Pucchā – pacchime panāvuso kāle bhagavā āyasmato ānandassa kīdisaṃ vacanaṃ kathetvā, kathañca bhikkhū pavāretvā, kīdisañca bhikkhūnaṃ vacanaṃ āmantetvā, kathañca anupādisesāya nibbānadhātuyā parinibbāyi.
【问题】——尊者们,在最后时刻,世尊对具寿阿难说了什么样的话?又是如何向比库们作最后邀请的?又宣说了什么样的话告别比库们?又是如何在无余涅槃界中般涅槃的?
Vissajjanā – bhagavā bhante pacchime kāle āyasmato ānandassa siyā kho panānanda tumhākaṃ evamassa atītasatthukaṃ pāvacanaṃ natthi no satthāti evamādikaṃ vacanaṃ kathetvā, siyā kho pana bhikkhave ekabhikkhussāpi kaṅkhā vā vimati vā buddhe vā dhamme vā saṅghe vā magge vā paṭipadāya vāti evamādinā bhikkhū pavāretvā, handadāni bhikkhave āmantayāmi vo, vayadhammā saṅkhārā appamādena sampādethāti pacchimañca ovādavacanaṃ bhikkhūnaṃ āmantetvā, nava anupubbasamāpattiyo anulomaṃ paṭilomaṃ samāpajjitvā, catutthajjhānā vuṭṭhahitvā samanantarā anupādisesāya nibbānadhātuyā parinibbāyi.
释迦牟尼世尊在后时曾对尊者阿难说:阿难,诸位,这世尊过去世间已灭度的道理与教诫,若没有你们不能生疑惑或迷乱于佛、法、僧、道、修行等方面,就不会宣说“无此道理”,如是等言论说出。现在我告诫诸比库,应以不放逸正勤完成诸行的无常法。于是后时的劝诫言辞传布开来,诸比库由此引发顺逆习得九种渐次的境界,超越第四禅定,即刻无烦恼地证得无余涅槃的法性并圆满般涅槃。
Nāvuso ānanda bhagavā parinibbuto, saññāvedayita nirodhaṃ samāpanno.
阿难,世尊已经般涅槃,分别想受的灭尽亦已成就。
Janavasabhasutta阇那瓦沙巴经
Pucchā – mahāsudassanasuttaṃ panāvuso purimadivase pucchitañca vissajjitañca, janavasabhasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
请问:尊者,大明王经,前一天请问及释疑的经文,还有人民牛经,尊者,世尊在哪里开始讲说,讲了什么主题?
Vissajjanā – nātike bhante giñjakāvasathe āyasmantaṃ ānandaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, āyasmā bhante ānando māgadhake paricārake ārabbha bhagavato sammukhā parikathaṃ kathesi, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
释疑:尊者,在竹林精舍外,世尊对尊者阿难开始讲说。尊者阿难是世尊的侍从,开始对世尊当面说法,所言即是那个主题。
Mahāgovindasutta大总管经
Pucchā – mahāgovindasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha bhāsitaṃ.
请问:尊者,大牛王经,世尊在哪里讲说?
Vissajjanā – rājagahe bhante bhāsitaṃ.
释疑:在王舍城讲说。
Mahāsamayasutta大会经
Pucchā – mahāsamayasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:尊者,此名为大集经之问,世尊所说在何处?
Vissajjanā – sakkesu bhante kapilavatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
释曰:尊者,此说于迦毗罗卫城中,世尊所说。
Sakkapañhasutta萨咖问经
Pucchā – sakkapañhasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:尊者,此名为萨咖难题经之问,世尊所说于何处、由何缘起,以何事而说?
Vissajjanā – magadhesu bhante pācīnato rājagahassa ambasaṇḍā nāma brāhmaṇagāmo, tassuttarato vediyake pabbate indasālaguhāyaṃ sakkaṃ devānamindaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, sakko bhante devānamindo bhagavantaṃ upasaṅkamitvā pañhaṃ pucchi, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
释曰:尊者,于摩揭陀国,南面王舍城外,有婆罗门村落名为安婆散多,村北有名为姨陀薩罗窟之山,世尊由此缘起说法,萨咖天帝前来,向世尊亲近问难,世尊于此事而说。
Mahāsatipaṭṭhānasutta大念处经
Pucchā – mahāsatipaṭṭhānasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:尊者,此名为大念处经之问,世尊所说在何处?
Vissajjanā – kurūsu bhante kammāsadhamme nāma kurūnaṃ nigame bhāsitaṃ.
释曰:尊者,于拘楼舍城,有名为拘摩沙法之拘族集会所中,世尊所说。
Pāyāsisutta巴亚西经
Pucchā – pāyāsi suttaṃ panāvuso kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ kena bhāsitaṃ.
询问者说:尊者,关于《帕雅西经》,说的是在哪里?从什么起头?内容关于什么?
Vissajjanā – kosalesu bhante setabyānāma kosalānaṃ nagaraṃ uttarena setabyaṃ siṃsapāvane āyasmatā kumārakassapena pāyāsiṃ rājaññaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, pāyāsissa bhante rājaññassa evarūpaṃ pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ uppannaṃ hoti, itipi natthi paroloko natthi sattā opapātikā natthi sukatadukkaṭānaṃ kammānaṃ phalaṃ vipākoti, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
答者说:尊者,于拘萨罗国,有一拘萨罗城,北面有塞塔ビー耶和香榆林。尊者沙玛内拉·库玛拉卡萨帕王子,从该城王权起头论说。关于帕雅西王,尊者讲说他产生了这种恶劣的见解:『没有来世、没有天道、没有鬼神、没有善恶业报的果报』。这就是本经中所说的内容。
Pucchā – tatthāvuso pāyāsissa rājaññassa diṭṭhipakāsanāca āyasmato kumārakassapattherassa diṭṭhiviniveṭṭhanakathā ca anekavāraṃ āgatā, tatthāvuso paṭhamaṃ pāyāsi rājañño attano diṭṭhiṃ kathaṃ pakāsesi, kathañcāyasmā kumārakassapo taṃ micchādiṭṭhiṃ viniveṭhesi.
询问者说:那么尊者,关于帕雅西王的这种见解显现,尊者长老库玛拉卡萨帕多次前来辩驳。那么尊者,帕雅西王第一次如何阐明自己的见解?尊者库玛拉卡萨帕又是如何驳斥他的错误见解?
Vissajjanā – pāyāsi bhante rājañño āyasmantaṃ kumārakassapaṃ upasaṅkamitvā etadavoca ‘‘ahañhi bho kassapa evaṃ vādī evaṃ diṭṭhī itipi natthi paroloko, natthi sattā opapātikā, natthi sukatadukkaṭānaṃ kammānaṃ phalaṃ vipāko’’ki, evaṃ kho bhante pāyāsirājañño attano micchādiṭṭhiṃ āyasmato kumārakassapassa santike pakāsesi. Āyasmā ca kumārakassapo sakkhikāraṇaṃ candimasūriyaupamaṃ dassetvā pāyāsissa rājaññassa taṃ pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ viniveṭhesi.
答者说:尊者,帕雅西王亲自走近尊者库玛拉卡萨帕,说道:“库萨帕啊,我的主张和我的见解是这样的:没有来世、没有天道、没有鬼神、没有善恶业报的果报。”于是,帕雅西王就当面对尊者库玛拉卡萨帕显露了他的错误见解。尊者库玛拉卡萨帕以月日星辰为比喻,示现证据,当下破斥了帕雅西王这种错误的见解。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso āyasmā kumārakassapo pāyāsissa rājaññassa micchādiṭṭhikassa saddhammavimukhibhūtassa paccakkhato paralokaṃ dassetvā taṃ micchādiṭṭhiṃ viniveṭhesi.
应答者说:善哉,善哉,朋友啊!确实善哉,尊者库玛拉卡萨帕当面示现了因果与来世的真实境相,证实其正法,遂破斥了帕雅西王的这种错误见解。
Pucchā – atha panāvuso pāyāsirājañño dutiyampi kīdisaṃ sādhakapariyāyaṃ dassetvā attano vādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, kathañcāyasmā kumārakassapo taṃ micchāvādaṃ sahadhammena suniggahaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
询问者说:那么尊者,帕雅西王第二次如何表达自己的主张,怎样用修习的次第支持他的观点?尊者库玛拉卡萨帕又怎样以调伏同法,以佛法主张反驳支持他的错误见解?
Vissajjanā – dutiye pana bhante pāyāsirājañño attano mittāmacce ñātisālohite duccaritasamaṅgino kālaṃkate sādhakapariyāyaṃ dassetvā attano micchāvādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi , āyasmā ca kumārakassapo coraupamāya taṃ micchāvādaṃ sahadhammena suniggahaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
毗沙吉那——然而,尊者巴耶斯王子在其亲友、父母等家族成员中,对恶行混杂的人们,识时务地显现了其修行方式的终结,并确立了自己的邪见。迦摩迦萨尊者则以盗贼隐藏之法,谨慎地把持那邪见,继而确立了正法信解。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ āyasmā kumārakassapo uppannaṃ parappavādaṃ sahadhammena suniggahaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
善哉善哉,尊者!善哉尊者,迦摩迦萨以妥善的方法隐藏了新生的异端邪说,继而确立了正法之见,令人随喜赞叹。
Pucchā – atha panāvuso pāyāsirājañño tatiyampi kīdisaṃ sādhaka pariyāyaṃ dassetvā attanovādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, kathañcāyasmā kumārakassapo taṃ micchāvādaṃ sahadhammena suniggaha niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
问——那么尊者巴耶斯王子第三次以何种修行法门显现并确立自己的说法?迦摩迦萨尊者又如何谨慎通达,并且持守那邪见,从而确立了正法之见?
Vissajjanā – tatiyampana bhante pāyāsirājañño attano mittāmacce ñātisālohite sucaritasamaṅgino kālaṃkate dassetvā attano micchāvādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, āyasmā ca kumārakassapo gūthakūpe patapurisopamāya taṃ micchāvādaṃ sahadhammena suniggahitaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
毗沙吉那——第三次,尊者巴耶斯王子在亲友、父母等亲属中,对行善良好的人们识时务地显现了其修行方式的终结,并确立了自己的邪见。迦摩迦萨尊者则以藏匿于井中隐士般的手段,稳重地把持那邪见,继而确立了正法信解。

善哉善哉,尊者!善哉尊者,迦摩迦萨以妥善的方法隐藏了新生的异端邪说,继而确立了正法之见,令人欢喜赞叹。
Pucchā – āyasmatā āvuso kumārakassapena purimadivase pucchitavissajjitakkamena gūthakūpapurisaupamāya micchāvādaṃ paṭikkhipitvā dhammavāde patiṭṭhāpiyamāne piyāsirājañño
问——尊者!迦摩迦萨以何如清晨日间所询问的毗沙吉那事情,借以藏匿在井中隐士般的邪见而摒弃,并且确立了正法信解?
Catutthaṃ vā pañcamaṃ vā kīdisaṃ sādhakapariyāyaṃ dassetvā attanovādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, kathañcāyasmā kumārakassapo sahadhammena taṃ micchāvādaṃ paṭikkhipitvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
第四或第五,须显示何等正行之因果,且确立自身言论,云何长老库马拉迦萨波共学同心,摒弃邪见,确立正法言论。
Vissajjanā – pāyāsi bhante rājañño āyasmatā kumārakassapena gūthakūpe nimuggapuriso pamāya micchāvādaṃ suniggahitaṃ niggahetvā dhammavāde patiṭṭhāpite catutthaṃ vā pañcamaṃ vā attano mittāmacce ñātisālohite samādinna pañcasīle sādhakapariyāyaṃ dassetvā attano micchāvādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi. Āyasmā ca kumārakassapo tāvatiṃsadevopamāya ca jaccandhopamāya cāti dvīhi upamāhi taṃ pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ sahadhammena suniggahitaṃ niggahetvā, dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
释疑:尊者库马拉迦萨波如国王之奴隶,堕入污秽井中沉浸,人身业已衰退,然断除邪见,摄持净法,确立正法。或第四或第五时,亲友、同伴、亲属、儿辈,受持五戒,示现正行之因果,确立自身邪见。尊者库马拉迦萨波,乃天众比拟,月众比拟,于二种比喻中,契合意趣,断除邪见,摄持净法,确立正法。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ kumārakassapo pāyāsissa rājaññassa dve upamāyo dassetvā uppannaṃ pāpakaṃ micchāvādaṃ sahadhammena saniggahaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
善哉善哉!善哉尊者,以国王之奴隶二种比喻,示现生起之恶邪见,恒持共心,摄持净法,确立正法。
Pucchā – atha panāvuso pāyāsirājañño chaṭṭhaṃpi kīdisaṃ sādhakapariyāyaṃ dassetvā attano vādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, kathañcāyasmā kumārakassapo sahadhammena taṃ micchāvādaṃ suniggahaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
问曰:彼尊者,国王奴隶可否第六亦示现何等正行因果,确立其言?云何尊者库马拉迦萨波共心,摄持该邪见,确立净法?
Vissajjanā – chaṭṭhaṃ pana bhante pāyāsirājañño sīlavante samaṇabrāhmaṇe kalyāṇadhamme jīvitukāme amaritukāme
释疑:第六时,国王奴隶若为持戒比库、婆罗门、行清净善法,乐求生乐,恶弃死者,示现痛苦反对之正行因果,确立己见。
Sukhakāme dukkhapaṭikūle sādhakapariyāyaṃ dassetvā attano vādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, āyasmāca kumārakassapo gabbhinī upamāya taṃ micchāvādaṃ sahadhammena suniggahitaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
尊者库马拉迦萨波以怀孕妇人之比,依共心,断除邪见,摄持净法,确立正法。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ āyasmā kumārakassapo gabbhinīupamaṃ dassetvā taṃ micchāvādaṃ paṭikkhipitvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
善哉善哉!尊者,善哉!尊者,尊者俱跋迦萨婆以孕妇比喻,示现此义,断除邪见,确立正法。
Pucchā – atha panāvuso pāyāsirājañño sattamaṃpi kīdisaṃ sādhakapariyāyaṃ dassetvā attano vādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, kathañcāyasmā kumārakassapo taṃ micchāvādaṃ sahadhammena suniggahaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
问曰:那么尊者婆耶尸王,展示第七方便境界及其说法,如何确立己见?尊者俱跋迦萨婆以同法将此邪见圆满摄持,确立正法。
Vissajjanā – sattamaṃ pana bhante pāyāsirājañño kubbhiyaṃ pakkhipitvā māritapurisaṃ sādhakapariyāyaṃ dassetvā attano vādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, āyasmāca kumārakassapo supinakūpamāya taṃ micchāvādaṃ sahadhammena suniggahitaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
回答:尊者婆耶尸王舍弃第七方便境界,示现恶人方便境界及己见,尊者俱跋迦萨婆如睡梦井等,借同法将此邪见圆满摄持,确立正法。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ āyasmā kumārakassapo supinakūpamaṃ dassetvā uppannaṃ micchāvādaṃ sahadhammena suniggahaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
善哉善哉!尊者,善哉!尊者,尊者俱跋迦萨婆以睡梦井比喻,示现已起邪见,借同法圆满摄持,确立正法。
Pucchā – atha panāvuso pāyāsirājañño aṭṭhamampi navamampi kathetabbaṃ kathetvā dasamaṃ kīdisaṃ sādhakapariyāyaṃ dassetvā attano vādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, kathañcāyasmā kumārakassapo sahadhammena taṃ micchāvādaṃ paṭinissajjāpesi.
问曰:那么尊者婆耶尸王,讲说第八、第九两方便境界,及第十方便境界展示,其己见确立如何?尊者俱跋迦萨婆以同法舍弃此邪见。
Vissajjanā – aṭṭhamampi bhante navamampi pāyāsirājañño yaṃ vā taṃ vā pariyāyaṃ dassetvā attano vādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, dasamaṃ pana bhante pāyāsirājañño chaviādīni chinditvā māritapurisaṃ sādhakapariyāyaṃ dassetvā attano vādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi, āyasmā ca kumārakassapo aggikajaṭilopamāya taṃ micchāvādaṃ sahadhammena suniggahitaṃ niggahetvā dhammavādaṃ patiṭṭhāpesi.
回答:第八、第九方便境界,尊者婆耶尸王展示并确立己见。至于第十方便境界,尊者婆耶尸王断除如声色等,示恶人方便境界及己见,尊者俱跋迦萨婆如火生荆条等,借同法圆满摄持,确立正法。
Paṭinissajjetaṃ rājañña pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ. Paṭinissajjetaṃ rājañña pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ.
应当放弃国王邪恶的见解。应当放弃国王邪恶的见解。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ āyasmā kumārakassapo opāyikaṃ upamaṃ dassetvā taṃ pāpikaṃ micchādiṭṭhiṃ paṭinissajjāpesi, yaṃ tassa bhaveyya dīgharattaṃ hitāya sukhāya.
善哉善哉,尊敬的朋友,善哉!正如尊者库摩罗迦颇示现了譬喻,令其放弃邪恶的错误见解,因而这对他来说将是长久的利益和快乐。
Pucchā – āyasmatā āvuso kumārakassapena purimadivase pucchitavissajjitākārena pāyāsissa rājaññassa aggikajaṭilopamaṃ dassetvā tasmiṃ pāpake diṭṭhigate paṭinissajjāpite so tāva therassa vacanaṃ anādiyitvā kīdisañca paccanīkakathaṃ kathesi, kathañca thero karuṇāsītalahadayo hutvā aparampi upamaṃ dassetvā taṃ pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ paṭinissajjāpesi.
问曰:尊敬的朋友,前日尊者库摩罗迦颇以拯救者的身份示现了汤粥如火乱发的譬喻,令那处于邪恶见解中的国王放弃此邪见。国王那时未遵从长老的话,后来以何种方式预答,又如何讲述呢;长老如何生起慈悲与悲悯之心,继而再次示现譬喻使其弃绝邪见?
Vissajjanā – pāyāsi bhante rājañño āyasmatā kumārakassapena aggikajaṭilopamaṃ dassetvā taṃ pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ paṭinissajjāpite kiñcāpi bhavaṃ kassapo evamāha, atha kho nevāhaṃ sakkomi idaṃ pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ paṭinissajjitunti evamādikaṃ paccanīkakathaṃ kathesi, thero ca bhante kumārakassapo dve satthavāhopamaṃ dassetvā taṃ pāpakaṃ micchāvādaṃ paṭinissajjāpesi.
答曰:国王大人啊,当尊者库摩罗迦颇示现了火乱发如汤粥的譬喻,使国王放弃邪恶见解时,库摩罗迦颇说了些什么;国王则回应我不愿放弃此邪见;之后他说了类似内容以作反驳。尊者库摩罗迦颇以两种佛陀的譬喻,令其弃绝邪见。
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ āyasmā kumārakassapo pāyāsissa rājaññassa dve satthavāhopamampi dassetvā taṃ pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ paṭinissajjāpesi, tañhi tassa ca tadanuyāyīnañca bhaveyya dīgharattaṃ hitāya sukhāya.
善哉善哉,尊敬的朋友,善哉!正如尊者库摩罗迦颇示现了这两个佛陀的譬喻,使国王放弃了邪恶的见解,如此国王及其追随者都将为长久利益与安乐。
Pucchā – evaṃ panāvuso āyasmatā kumārakassapena yathā vuttāhi bahūhi upamāhi ca aparāhi gūthabhārikaakkhadhuttakopamāhi ca tasmiṃ pāpake diṭṭhigate vissajjāpite so tāva therassa vacanaṃ anādiyitvāva pacchimapaṭikkhepavasena kīdisaṃ paccanīkakathaṃ kathesi, kathañca thero karuṇāsītalahadayo hutvā pacchimampi upamaṃ dassetvā taṃ pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ paṭinissajjāpesi.
问曰:那么尊敬的朋友,如所言尊者库摩罗迦颇以多种譬喻,甚至复次以蜜饼、额头、瞪眼如怒的譬喻,使那处于邪恶见解中的国王放弃邪见。此后国王又如何不违背长老的话,选择抵弃他邪的论述?长老如何生起慈悲与悲悯之心,再次示现譬喻,使其弃绝邪见?
Vissajjanā – pāyāsi bhante rājañño evaṃ therena nānāupamāhi tasmiṃ pāpake diṭṭhigate paṭinissajjāpitepi purimanayeneva therassa paccanīkakathaṃ kathesi, theropi ca bhante pacchimaṃ sāṇabhārikūpamaṃ dassetvā karuṇāsītalahadayo taṃ pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ paṭinissajjāpesi.
毗萨迦那尊者说:『大王巴耶西尊者以各种喻比,在此恶见境地中舍离执著,并如前所述,以尊者前世之喻喻说教化。尊者后来亦以慈悲柔和之心,示现如西瓜瓤一般的喻,舍离了此恶见境界。』
Sādhu sādhu āvuso, sādhu kho āvuso yaṃ āyasmā kumārakassapo pāyāsissa rājaññassa sāṇabhārikopamampi dassetvā taṃ pāpakaṃ diṭṭhigataṃ paṭinissajjāpesi, tañhi tassa ca tadanuyāyīnañca bhaveyya dīgharattaṃ hitāya sukhāya.
『善哉善哉,尊友!善哉,尊友!大尊者库马克萨巴尊者以如西瓜瓤的喻示现,舍离此恶见境地,愿其及其追随者能长久利益安乐。』
Pucchā – imāya panāvuso pacchimikāya sāṇabhārikopamāya dassitāya pāyāsirājañño therassa dhammadesanānubhāvena imasmiṃ dhammavinaye pasanno hutvā kīdisaṃ pasannākāramakāsi, kathañca āyasmantaṃ kumārakassapaṃ anusāsaniṃ yāci, kathañcāyasmā kumārakassapo anusāsi.
问:『尊友,巴耶西大王以如西瓜瓤般的比喻示现法音,听闻之后,心中安然喜悦;尊者对大尊者库马克萨巴有何教诲?大尊者库马克萨巴以何法予以教诲?』
Vissajjanā – imāya ca pana bhante upamāya dassitāya pāyāsi rājañño ‘‘purimeneva ahaṃ opammena bhoto kassapassa attamano abhiraddho evamādinā bhante pāyāsirājañño imasmiṃ dhammavinaye āyasmato kumārakassapassa dhammadesanāya pasanno pasannākāramakāsi. Icchāmi cāhaṃ bho kassapa mahāyaññaṃ yajituṃ, anusāsatu maṃ bhavaṃ kassapo yaṃ mamassa dīgharattaṃ hitāya sukhāyāti pāyāsi rājañño āyasmantaṃ kumārakassapaṃ anusāsaniṃ yāci, āyasmā ca bhante kumārakassapo dukkhette dubbhūme pavuttabījopamāya dussīlesu dinnadānassa na mahapphalabhāvaṃ dassetvā sukhette subhūme pavuttabījopamāya sīlavantesu dinnadānassa mahapphalabhāvaṃ dassetvā pāyāsiṃ rājaññamanusāsi.
毗萨迦那尊者答:『尊友,巴耶西大王以往就如是说:“我以譬喻说明,尊者库马克萨巴乃吾所敬重者,现今在此法律中,惟欲依止尊者库马克萨巴安然喜悦的法语教诲。吾愿供养库萨帕尊者大祭,愿库萨帕教我,愿其为我长远利益幸福而教诲”。由此,巴耶西大王请教库马克萨巴尊者教诲。大尊者库马克萨巴以「劣地乃恶果之起因,善施乐于良好地中」的比喻,告诫巴耶西大王。』
Pucchā – kathañcāvuso pāyāsirājañño dānaṃ adāsi, kathañcassa samparāyo ahosi.
问:『请问巴耶西大王布施了什么?其后果如何?』
Vissajjanā – pāyāsi bhante rājañño asakkaccaṃ dānamadāsi, asahatthā dānamadāsi, acittīkataṃ dānamadāsi, apaviddhaṃ dānamadāsi, so asakkaccaṃ dānaṃ datvā asahatthā dānaṃ datvā acittīkataṃ dānaṃ datvā apaviddhaṃ dānaṃ datvā kāyassabhedā paraṃ maraṇā cātumahārājikānaṃ devānaṃ sahabyataṃ upapajji suññaṃ serīsakaṃ vimānaṃ.
毗萨迦那尊者答:『巴耶西大王所布施者,不随意、不愿、不由念苦、不遗漏。彼以此四种布施受持,肉体凋谢后,得往生于四大王天之天人众伴中,其身得生空净无瑕疵宫殿。』
Pucchā – tenāvuso bhagavatā jānatā passatā arahatā sammāsambuddhena pāthiyavagge paṭhamaṃ pāthiyasuttaṃ kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
问曰——尊者,此段文本中,世尊已知已见,阿拉汉,正自觉者,于帕提耶品首段帕提耶经,起于何处?述于何事?
Vissajjanā – mallesu bhante anupiye nāma mallānaṃ nigame bhaggavagottaṃ paribbājakaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, bhaggavagotto bhante paribbājako bhagavantaṃ etadavoca ‘‘purimāni bhante divasāni purimatarāni sunakkhatto licchaviputto yenāhaṃ tenupasaṅkami, upasaṅkamitvā maṃ etadavoca ‘‘paccakkhāto dāni mayā bhaggava bhagavā, na dānāhaṃ bhagavantaṃ uddissa viharāmī’ti, kacce taṃ bhante tatheva, yathā sunakkhatto, licchaviputto avacā’’ti, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
答曰——尊者,此言《不喜欢者》,乃在摩罗族中不受欢迎之摩罗部聚落,名曰巴伽瓦族之游行者,所说法也。巴伽瓦族游行者对世尊说:“尊者,过去诸日,更早之前,尊贵的舍那迦婆罗门至我处,我往迎接,入近而言:‘如今我已明了,尊者世尊,吾不为尊者设斋宿’,尊者可否如舍那迦婆罗门言?”此事即此论说之内容。
Udumbarikasutta优昙婆利经
Pucchā – udumbarikasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
问曰——乌红婆梨迦经,尊者,于何地起讲?论何事?
Vissajjanā – rājagahe bhante nigrodhaṃ paribbājakaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, nigrodho bhante paribbājako bhagavato parammukhā bhagavantaṃyeva ārabbha anekavihitaṃ abhūtakathaṃ kathesi, tasmiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
答曰——尊者,世尊在王舍城,自在树下,对游行者说法。自在树下的游行者从尊前起首,以多种说法广论无生义,此即本经所说之内容。
Cakkavattisutta转轮王经
Pucchā – cakkavattisuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
问曰——转轮王经,尊者,于何处何事起讲?
Vissajjanā – magadhesu bhante mātulāyaṃ sambahule bhikkhū ārabbha attajjhāsayena suttanikkhepena bhagavatā bhāsitaṃ.
答曰——尊者,在摩揭陀诸地,在多数亲属比库中,世尊曾以「自觉行法」及「经文宣讲」开示,此即所说之内容。
Aggaññasutta起源经
Pucchā – aggaññasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:尊者,请问世尊所说的《初生经》是在哪里、关于什么事而开始讲述的?
Vissajjanā – sāvatthiyaṃ bhante pubbārāme migāramātupāsāde vāseṭṭhaṃ pabbajitaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, brāhmaṇā bhante vāseṭṭha bhāradvāje pabbajite akkosanti paribhāsanti attarūpāya
答曰:尊者,此经于舍卫城,先前僧院鹿母殿中,尊者长老最胜出家人处所开始讲述。婆罗门,尊者,此时婆罗门长老帕拉德瓦迦出家,却对经文内容以讥讽、误解之语加以责备。
Paribhāsāya paripuṇṇāya no aparipuṇṇāya, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
其责备内容乃谓经文不圆满,而非圆满;但,尊者,此经确实是论述圆满内容。
Pucchā – sampasādanīya suttaṃ panāvuso kattha kena bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:尊者,请问世尊所说的《清净经》是在哪里、由谁讲说的?
Vissajjanā – nāḷandāyaṃ bhante pāvārikambavane āyasmatā sāriputtena bhāsitaṃ.
答曰:尊者,此经于那兰陀废弃林园中,由具寿尊者沙利子宣说。
Pāsādikasutta净信经
Pucchā – pāsādikasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:尊者,请问世尊所说的《庄严经》是在哪里、关于何事而开始讲说的?
Vissajjanā – sakkesu bhante vedhaññānāma sakyānaṃ ambavane pāsāde cundaṃ samaṇuddesaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, cundo bhante samaṇuddeso pāvāyaṃ nigaṇṭhassa nāṭaputtassa kālaṃ kiriyāya bhinnānaṃ nigaṇṭhānaṃ dvedhikajātānaṃ bhaṇḍanajātānaṃ kalahajātānaṃ vivādāpannānaṃ aññamaññaṃ mukhasattīhi vitujjanakāraṇaṃ āyasmato ānandassa ārocesi, āyasmā ca bhante ānando bhagavato etamatthaṃ ārocesi, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
释者说:各位长老,关于众根知受的相应部分,有一偈在浸水处的禅堂中,针对准提比库起首说过。此偈中说,准提比库为那在邦迦国、名为纳塔波陀的尼乾陀贪欲之徒,和因命中之缘分而化为两派、造作纷争、而彼此交互争斗、以彼此的面容为嗤笑对象的分裂者,曾告知具寿长老阿难。如是,长老阿难向世尊称说此义,世尊就在此事上予以宣说。
Lakkhaṇasutta相经
Pucchā – lakkhaṇasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:世尊,此所称的“相应偈”是何处所说?
Vissajjanā – sāvatthiyaṃ bhante jetavanamahāvihāre bhāsitaṃ.
答曰:世尊在萨瓦提城之揭多罗禅林中所说。
Siṅgālasutta《教授尸嘎喇经》
Pucchā – siṅgālasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kaṃ ārabbha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:世尊,此所谓“獅子吼经”是在哪里、以何主题开始、在何处所说?
Vissajjanā – rājagahe bhante siṅgālaṃ gahapatiputtaṃ ārabbha bhāsitaṃ, siṅgālo bhante gahapatiputto kālasseva uṭṭhāya rājagahā nikkhamitvā allavattho allakeso pañjaliko puthudisā namassati puratthimaṃ disaṃ dakkhiṇaṃ disaṃ pacchimaṃ disaṃ uttaraṃ disaṃ heṭṭhimaṃ disaṃ uparimaṃ disaṃ, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
答曰:在王舍城,针对首领之子狮子吼所说。此狮子吼即是首领之子,于时起立离开王舍城,神色庄严,双手合十,面向东方、南方、西方、北方、下方、上方六方礼拜,这正是此处讲说的内容。
Āṭānāṭiyasutta《阿吒那胝经》
Pucchā – āṭānāṭiyasuttaṃ panāvuso bhagavatā kattha kismiṃ vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
问曰:世尊,阿陀那提耶经是在何处,以何主题讲说的?
Vissajjanā – rājagahe bhante gijjhakūṭe pabbate bhāsitaṃ, bhagavati bhante rājagahe viharati cattāro mahārājāno catuddisaṃ rakkhaṃ ṭhapetvā catuddisaṃ gumbaṃ ṭhapetvā catuddisaṃ ovaraṇaṃ ṭhapetvā kevalakappaṃ gijjhakūṭapabbataṃ obhāsetvā yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkamiṃsu, upasaṅkamitvā bhagavantaṃ abhivādetvā ekamantaṃ nisīdiṃsu, ekamantaṃ nisinno kho bhante vessavaṇo mahārājā āṭānāṭiyaṃ rakkhaṃ bhagavato ārocesi bhikkhūnaṃ bhikkhunīnaṃ upāsakānaṃ upāsikānaṃ phāsuvihārāya, tasmiṃ bhante vatthusmiṃ bhāsitaṃ.
Vissajjanā说:世尊,当时在王舍城青蛙石山上说法,世尊在王舍城,四大帝王设立四方护卫,设置四方僧舍,修建四方围障,独自光明照耀青蛙石山,众人因此前来恭敬世尊,前来后礼敬世尊后,各自入座。坐于一旁的便是伟大的魔王韦萨瓦纳,他吩咐看护比库、比库尼、居士男女的各类聚落住处,于此地说道。
Saṅgītisutta《合诵经》
Pucchā – saṅgīti suttaṃ panāvuso kattha kena bhāsitaṃ.
提问者问道:诸贤,『相应经』是在哪里、由谁所说?
Vissajjanā – pāvāyaṃ bhante āyasmatā sāriputtena bhāsitaṃ.
Vissajjanā答曰:诸贤,此经是尊长沙利弗所说。
Dasuttarasutta《十上经》
Pucchā – dasuttarasuttaṃ panāvuso kattha kena bhāsitaṃ.
提问者问道:诸贤,『十种胜经』是在哪里、由谁所说?
Vissajjanā – dasuttarasuttaṃ bhante campāyaṃ gaggarāya pokkharaṇiyā tīre āyasmatā sāriputtena bhāsitaṃ.
Vissajjanā答曰:诸贤,『十种胜经』是尊长沙利弗在迦毗罗卫池畔樱花林中所说。
Pucchā – ke āvuso sikkhanti.
提问者问道:诸贤,谁是学习戒律者?
Vissajjanā – sekkhā ca bhante puthujjanakalyāṇakā ca sikkhanti.
放逸与学习,世尊啊,外道善知识们也学习。
Pucchā – ke āvuso sikkhitasikkhā.
问曰:朋友们,这些学习的学习者是谁?
Vissajjanā – arahanto bhante sikkhitasikkhā.
放逸答曰:阿拉汉,世尊,他们是学习的学习者。
Pucchā – kassa āvuso vacanaṃ.
问曰:朋友们,所谓哪个人的语句?
Vissajjanā – bhagavato bhante vacanaṃ arahato sammāsambuddhassa.
放逸答曰:世尊的,世尊啊,是阿拉汉正自觉者的语句。
Pucchā – kenāvuso ābhataṃ.
问曰:朋友们,是通过什么而获得?
Vissajjanā – paramparāya bhante ābhataṃ.
『vissajjanā』者,谓灭尽,世尊所教法中,承续相承传递也。
