187. Kathinānujānanā
306那时,佛陀世尊住在舍卫城的祇树给孤独园。那时,有大约三十位从巴韦亚咖来的比丘,他们全都是住林野者,全都是托钵乞食者,全都是穿粪扫衣者,全都是持三衣者。他们正前往舍卫城,想去拜见世尊。但由于雨安居的日子临近,他们没能及时在舍卫城赶上入雨安居,便在中途的沙给德入了雨安居。他们带着渴望的心情在那里度过了雨安居,心想:‘世尊就住在附近,离我们只有六由旬,而我们却没能见到世尊。’后来,这些比丘在雨安居结束后,自恣完毕后,在雨季仍然下着大雨、积水弥漫、泥泞不堪的情况下,穿着湿透的僧衣,疲惫不堪地来到了舍卫城的祇树给孤独园,来到了世尊那里。他们向世尊礼敬后,坐在一旁。依照惯例,诸佛世尊们通常会与客来的比丘寒暄问候。于是,世尊对这些比丘说:‘诸比丘,是否可忍?是否可过?你们是否和合、彼此融洽、没有争执、安乐地度过了雨安居?是否没有因为托钵乞食而感到疲惫?’他们回答说:‘世尊,是可忍的;世尊,是可过的。尊者,我们和合、彼此融洽、没有争执地度过了雨安居,也没有因为托钵乞食而感到疲惫。尊者,我们这大约三十位从巴韦亚咖来的比丘,正前往舍卫城想拜见世尊时,由于雨安居的日子临近,没能及时赶到舍卫城入雨安居,便在中途的沙给德入了雨安居。尊者,我们怀着渴望的心情住在那里安度,心想:“世尊就住在附近,离我们只有六由旬,而我们却没能见到世尊。”尊者,我们在雨安居结束、自恣完毕后,在雨季下着大雨、积水弥漫、泥泞不堪的情况下,穿着湿透的僧衣,一路长途跋涉而来。’于是,世尊以这件事为因缘,以这件事为课题,先作了一番法义开示,然后对比丘们说:‘诸比丘,我允许结束雨安居的比丘们展开迦絺那衣。诸比丘,对于已经展开迦絺那衣的你们,有五件事将是被允许的:不告辞而行、不一起受持而行、众食、随意衣,以及在那里生起的衣,那将属于他们。诸比丘,对于已经展开迦絺那衣的你们,这五件事将是被允许的。诸比丘,迦絺那衣应当这样展开:应由一位有经验、有能力的比丘向僧团宣告:
Tena samayena buddho bhagavā sāvatthiyaṃ viharati jetavane anāthapiṇḍikassa ārāme. Tena kho pana samayena tiṃsamattā pāveyyakā bhikkhū, sabbe āraññikā sabbe piṇḍapātikā sabbe paṃsukūlikā sabbe tecīvarikā sāvatthiṃ āgacchantā bhagavantaṃ dassanāya upakaṭṭhāya vassūpanāyikāya nāsakkhiṃsu sāvatthiyaṃ vassūpanāyikaṃ sambhāvetuṃ; antarāmagge sākete vassaṃ upagacchiṃsu. Te ukkaṇṭhitarūpā vassaṃ vasiṃsu – āsanneva no bhagavā viharati ito chasu yojanesu, na ca mayaṃ labhāma bhagavantaṃ dassanāyāti. Atha kho te bhikkhū vassaṃvuṭṭhā, temāsaccayena katāya pavāraṇāya, deve vassante, udakasaṅgahe udakacikkhalle okapuṇṇehi cīvarehi kilantarūpā yena sāvatthi jetavanaṃ anāthapiṇḍikassa ārāmo, yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā bhagavantaṃ abhivādetvā ekamantaṃ nisīdiṃsu. Āciṇṇaṃ kho panetaṃ buddhānaṃ bhagavantānaṃ āgantukehi bhikkhūhi saddhiṃ paṭisammodituṃ. Atha kho bhagavā te bhikkhū etadavoca – ‘‘kacci, bhikkhave, khamanīyaṃ, kacci yāpanīyaṃ, kacci samaggā sammodamānā avivadamānā phāsukaṃ vassaṃ vasittha, na ca piṇḍakena kilamitthā’’ti? ‘‘Khamanīyaṃ, bhagavā; yāpanīyaṃ, bhagavā; samaggā ca mayaṃ, bhante, sammodamānā avivadamānā vassaṃ vasimhā, na ca piṇḍakena kilamimhā . Idha mayaṃ, bhante, tiṃsamattā pāveyyakā bhikkhū sāvatthiṃ āgacchantā bhagavantaṃ dassanāya upakaṭṭhāya vassūpanāyikāya nāsakkhimhā sāvatthiyaṃ vassūpanāyikaṃ sambhāvetuṃ, antarāmagge sākete vassaṃ upagacchimhā. Te mayaṃ, bhante, ukkaṇṭhitarūpā vassaṃ vasimhā – ‘āsanneva no bhagavā viharati ito chasu yojanesu, na ca mayaṃ labhāma bhagavantaṃ dassanāyā’ti. Atha kho mayaṃ, bhante, vassaṃvuṭṭhā, temāsaccayena katāya pavāraṇāya, deve vassante, udakasaṅgahe udakacikkhalle okapuṇṇehi cīvarehi kilantarūpā addhānaṃ āgatāti. Atha kho bhagavā etasmiṃ nidāne etasmiṃ pakaraṇe dhammiṃ kathaṃ katvā bhikkhū āmantesi – ‘‘anujānāmi, bhikkhave, vassaṃvuṭṭhānaṃ bhikkhūnaṃ kathinaṃ attharituṃ. Atthatakathinānaṃ vo, bhikkhave, pañca kappissanti – anāmantacāro, asamādānacāro, gaṇabhojanaṃ, yāvadatthacīvaraṃ, yo ca tattha cīvaruppādo so nesaṃ bhavissatīti. Atthatakathinānaṃ vo, bhikkhave, imāni pañca kappissanti. Evañca pana, bhikkhave, kathinaṃ attharitabbaṃ. Byattena bhikkhunā paṭibalena saṅgho ñāpetabbo –
307‘尊者僧团,请听我说。这是僧团获得的迦絺那衣料。如果僧团认为时机合适,僧团可以将这块迦絺那衣料交给名为某某的比丘,以展开迦絺那衣。这是动议。’
‘‘Suṇātu me, bhante, saṅgho. Idaṃ saṅghassa kathinadussaṃ uppannaṃ. Yadi saṅghassa pattakallaṃ, saṅgho imaṃ kathinadussaṃ itthannāmassa bhikkhuno dadeyya kathinaṃ attharituṃ. Esā ñatti.
3‘尊者僧团,请听我说。这是僧团获得的迦絺那衣料。僧团将这块迦絺那衣料交给名为某某的比丘,以展开迦絺那衣。哪位尊者同意将这块迦絺那衣料交给名为某某的比丘以展开迦絺那衣,请保持沉默;哪位不同意,请说出来。’
‘‘Suṇātu me, bhante, saṅgho. Idaṃ saṅghassa kathinadussaṃ uppannaṃ. Saṅgho imaṃ kathinadussaṃ itthannāmassa bhikkhuno deti kathinaṃ attharituṃ. Yassāyasmato khamati imassa kathinadussassa itthannāmassa bhikkhuno dānaṃ kathinaṃ attharituṃ, so tuṇhassa; yassa nakkhamati, so bhāseyya.
4‘这块迦絺那衣料已由僧团交给名为某某的比丘,以展开迦絺那衣。僧团同意,因此保持沉默。我这样记录此事。’
‘‘Dinnaṃ idaṃ saṅghena kathinadussaṃ itthannāmassa bhikkhuno kathinaṃ attharituṃ. Khamati saṅghassa, tasmā tuṇhī, evametaṃ dhārayāmī’’ti.
308‘诸比丘,迦絺那衣像这样是展开的,像这样是未展开的。那么,诸比丘,迦絺那衣在什么情况下是未展开的呢?仅凭画线,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭洗涤,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭检查衣料,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭裁剪,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭缝制,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭锁边,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭加衬片,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭加固,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭加覆肩布,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭添加配饰,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭添加延伸部分,迦絺那衣不算展开;仅凭搓揉毡布,迦絺那衣不算展开。通过标示所得的布料,迦絺那衣不算展开;通过口头宣传所得的布料,迦絺那衣不算展开;通过临时借用所得的布料,迦絺那衣不算展开;通过储存所得的布料,迦絺那衣不算展开;属于应舍出的布料,迦絺那衣不算展开;不如法制作的布料,迦絺那衣不算展开。不用僧伽梨衣,迦絺那衣不算展开;不用上衣,迦絺那衣不算展开;不用下衣,迦絺那衣不算展开。不是用五条或五条以上的布料,在当天经裁剪、缝制成圆形衣所得,迦絺那衣不算展开。不是由个人展开的,迦絺那衣不算展开。即使如法地展开了迦絺那衣,如果一位在场界外的人随喜,像这样,迦絺那衣也不算展开。诸比丘,迦絺那衣像这样是未展开的。’
‘‘Evaṃ kho, bhikkhave, atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, evaṃ anatthataṃ. Kathañca pana, bhikkhave, anatthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ? Na ullikhitamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na dhovanamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na cīvaravicāraṇamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na chedanamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na bandhanamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na ovaṭṭiyakaraṇamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na kaṇḍusakaraṇamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na daḷhīkammakaraṇamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na anuvātakaraṇamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na paribhaṇḍakaraṇamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na ovaddheyyakaraṇamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na kambalamaddanamattena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na nimittakatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na parikathākatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na kukkukatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na sannidhikatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na nissaggiyena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na akappakatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ , na aññatra saṅghāṭiyā atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na aññatra uttarāsaṅgena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na aññatra antaravāsakena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na aññatra pañcakena vā atirekapañcakena vā tadaheva sañchinnena samaṇḍalīkatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, na aññatra puggalassa atthārā atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ; sammā ceva atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, tañce nissīmaṭṭho anumodati, evampi anatthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ. Evaṃ kho, bhikkhave, anatthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ.
309‘那么,诸比丘,迦絺那衣在什么情况下是展开的呢?用全新的布料,迦絺那衣算展开;用近似全新的布料,迦絺那衣算展开;用破旧布料,迦絺那衣算展开;用粪扫衣,迦絺那衣算展开;从商店购得的布料,迦絺那衣算展开。非通过标示所得的布料,迦絺那衣算展开;非通过口头宣传所得的布料,迦絺那衣算展开;非通过临时借用所得的布料,迦絺那衣算展开;非通过储存所得的布料,迦絺那衣算展开;不属于应舍出的布料,迦絺那衣算展开。如法制作的布料,迦絺那衣算展开。用僧伽梨衣,迦絺那衣算展开;用上衣,迦絺那衣算展开;用下衣,迦絺那衣算展开。用五条或五条以上的布料,在当天经裁剪、缝制成圆形衣所得,迦絺那衣算展开。由个人展开的,迦絺那衣算展开。即使如法地展开了迦絺那衣,如果一位在场界内的人随喜,像这样,迦絺那衣也算展开。诸比丘,迦絺那衣像这样是展开的。’
‘‘Kathañca, bhikkhave, atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ? Ahatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, ahatakappena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, pilotikāya atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, paṃsukūlena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, pāpaṇikena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, animittakatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, aparikathākatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, akukkukatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, asannidhikatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, anissaggiyena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, kappakatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, saṅghāṭiyā atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, uttarāsaṅgena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, antaravāsakena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, pañcakena vā atirekapañcakena vā tadaheva sañchinnena samaṇḍalīkatena atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, puggalassa atthārā atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ; sammā ce atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ, tañce sīmaṭṭho anumodati, evampi atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ . Evaṃ kho, bhikkhave, atthataṃ hoti kathinaṃ.
310‘那么,诸比丘,迦絺那衣在什么情况下是被收回的呢?诸比丘,有这八种导致迦絺那衣收回的基本情况:因离开而导致的、因完成而导致的、因决定而导致的、因失去而导致的、因听闻而导致的、因断望而导致的、因越界而导致的、因共同收回而导致的。’
‘‘Kathañca, bhikkhave, ubbhataṃ hoti kathinaṃ? Aṭṭhimā, bhikkhave, mātikā kathinassa ubbhārāya – pakkamanantikā, niṭṭhānantikā, sanniṭṭhānantikā, nāsanantikā, savanantikā, āsāvacchedikā, sīmātikkantikā, sahubbhārā’’ti .

11188. 取七法
188. Ādāyasattakaṃ
311一位已经展开迦絺那衣的比丘,带着做好的衣离开,心里想:‘我不会再回来了。’对于这位比丘来说,是‘因离开而导致’的迦絺那衣收回。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino katacīvaraṃ ādāya pakkamati – ‘‘na paccessa’’nti. Tassa bhikkhuno pakkamanantiko kathinuddhāro.
9一位比丘在迦絺那衣展开后,带着衣料离开了。当他到了界外,心里这样想:‘我就在这里完成这件衣,不再回去了。’然后他就把那件衣做好了。对于这位比丘来说,迦絺那衣的收回是因为衣的完成。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ ādāya pakkamati. Tassa bahisīmagatassa evaṃ hoti – ‘‘idhevimaṃ cīvaraṃ kāressaṃ, na paccessa’’nti. So taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. Tassa bhikkhuno niṭṭhānantiko kathinuddhāro.
10一位比丘在迦絺那衣展开后,带着衣料离开了。当他到了界外,心里这样想:‘我既不完成这件衣,也不再回去了。’对于这位比丘来说,迦絺那衣的收回是因为这个决定。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ ādāya pakkamati. Tassa bahisīmagatassa evaṃ hoti – ‘‘nevimaṃ cīvaraṃ kāressaṃ, na paccessa’’nti. Tassa bhikkhuno sanniṭṭhānantiko kathinuddhāro.
11一位比丘在迦絺那衣展开后,带着衣料离开了。当他到了界外,心里这样想:‘我就在这里完成这件衣,不再回去了。’然后他就动手做那件衣。在做衣的过程中,那件衣料损坏了。对于这位比丘来说,迦絺那衣的收回是因为衣的坏失。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ ādāya pakkamati. Tassa bahisīmagatassa evaṃ hoti – ‘‘idhevimaṃ cīvaraṃ kāressaṃ, na paccessa’’nti. So taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. Tassa taṃ cīvaraṃ kayiramānaṃ nassati. Tassa bhikkhuno nāsanantiko kathinuddhāro.
12一位比丘在迦絺那衣展开后,带着衣料离开了,心里想:‘我会回去的。’他到了界外后,完成了那件衣。当他做完衣后,听说:‘听说在那个住处,迦絺那衣已经被收回了。’对于这位比丘来说,迦絺那衣的收回是因为听到消息。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ ādāya pakkamati – ‘‘paccessa’’nti. So bahisīmagato taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. So katacīvaro suṇāti ‘‘ubbhataṃ kira tasmiṃ āvāse kathina’’nti. Tassa bhikkhuno savanantiko kathinuddhāro.
13一位比丘在迦絺那衣展开后,带着衣料离开了,心里想:‘我会回去的。’他到了界外后,完成了那件衣。做完衣后,他一边想着‘我会回去、我会回去’,一边在界外拖延,超过了迦絺那衣收回的期限。对于这位比丘来说,迦絺那衣的收回是因为越过了界限。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ ādāya pakkamati – ‘‘paccessa’’nti . So bahisīmagato taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. So katacīvaro – ‘‘paccessaṃ paccessa’’nti – bahiddhā kathinuddhāraṃ vītināmeti. Tassa bhikkhuno sīmātikkantiko kathinuddhāro.
14一位比丘在迦絺那衣展开后,带着衣料离开了,心里想:‘我会回去的。’他到了界外后,完成了那件衣。做完衣后,他一边想着‘我会回去、我会回去’,一边赶上了迦絺那衣的收回。对于这位比丘来说,迦絺那衣是与那些比丘们一起收回的。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ ādāya pakkamati – ‘‘paccessa’’nti. So bahisīmagato taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. So katacīvaro – ‘‘paccessaṃ paccessa’’nti – sambhuṇāti kathinuddhāraṃ. Tassa bhikkhuno saha bhikkhūhi kathinuddhāro.

312一位比丘在迦絺那衣展开后,拿着已经做好的衣离开了,心里想:‘不再回去了。’对于这位比丘来说,迦絺那衣的收回是因为离开。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino katacīvaraṃ samādāya pakkamati ‘‘na paccessa’’nti. Tassa bhikkhuno pakkamanantiko kathinuddhāro.
16一位比丘在迦絺那衣展开后,拿着衣料离开了。当他到了界外,心里这样想:‘我就在这里完成这件衣,不再回去了。’然后他就把那件衣做好了。对于这位比丘来说,迦絺那衣的收回是因为衣的完成。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ samādāya pakkamati. Tassa bahisīmagatassa evaṃ hoti – ‘‘idhevimaṃ cīvaraṃ kāressaṃ, na paccessa’’nti. So taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. Tassa bhikkhuno niṭṭhānantiko kathinuddhāro.
17一位已经展开迦絺那衣的比丘拿着衣离开了。他到界外后这样想:“我就在这里做这件衣,不回去了。”这位比丘的迦絺那衣收回是以心念决断为终。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ samādāya pakkamati. Tassa bahisīmagatassa evaṃ hoti – ‘‘idhevimaṃ cīvaraṃ kāressaṃ, na paccessa’’nti. Tassa bhikkhuno sanniṭṭhānantiko kathinuddhāro.
18一位已展开迦絺那衣的比丘拿着衣离开了。他到界外后这样想:“我就在这里做这件衣,不回去了。”他便让人做那件衣。他正在做那件衣时,衣丢失了。这位比丘的迦絺那衣收回是以丢失为终。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ samādāya pakkamati. Tassa bahisīmagatassa evaṃ hoti – ‘‘idhevimaṃ cīvaraṃ kāressaṃ, na paccessa’’nti. So taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. Tassa taṃ cīvaraṃ kayiramānaṃ nassati. Tassa bhikkhuno nāsanantiko kathinuddhāro.
19一位完成衣的比丘拿着衣离开,心想:“我要回去。”他到界外后做那件衣。他做好衣后听到:“听说那个住处迦絺那衣已经被收回了。”这位比丘的迦絺那衣收回是以听闻为终。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ samādāya pakkamati – ‘‘paccessa’’nti. So bahisīmagato taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. So katacīvaro suṇāti – ‘‘ubbhataṃ kira tasmiṃ āvāse kathina’’nti. Tassa bhikkhuno savanantiko kathinuddhāro.
20一位完成衣的比丘拿着衣离开,心想:“我要回去。”他到界外后做那件衣。他做好衣后,心里想着“我要回去,我要回去”,却在界外错过了迦絺那衣的收回。这位比丘的迦絺那衣收回是以越过界限为终。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ samādāya pakkamati – ‘‘paccessa’’nti. So bahisīmagato taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. So katacīvaro – ‘‘paccessaṃ paccessa’’nti – bahiddhā kathinuddhāraṃ vītināmeti. Tassa bhikkhuno sīmātikkantiko kathinuddhāro.
21一位完成衣的比丘拿着衣离开,心想:“我要回去。”他到界外后做那件衣。他做好衣后,心里想着“我要回去,我要回去”,却遇上了迦絺那衣的收回。这位比丘的迦絺那衣收回是与比丘们一起的。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino cīvaraṃ samādāya pakkamati – ‘‘paccessa’’nti. So bahisīmagato taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. So katacīvaro – ‘‘paccessaṃ paccessa’’nti – sambhuṇāti kathinuddhāraṃ. Tassa bhikkhuno saha bhikkhūhi kathinuddhāro.

190. Ādāyachakkaṃ
313一位完成衣的比丘拿着未完成的衣离开了。他到界外后这样想:“我就在这里做这件衣,不回去了。”他便做那件衣。这位比丘的迦絺那衣收回是以完成为终。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino vippakatacīvaraṃ ādāya pakkamati. Tassa bahisīmagatassa evaṃ hoti – ‘‘idhevimaṃ cīvaraṃ kāressaṃ, na paccessa’’nti. So taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. Tassa bhikkhuno niṭṭhānantiko kathinuddhāro.
23一位完成衣的比丘拿着未完成的衣离开了。他到界外后这样想:“我既不做这件衣,也不回去了。”这位比丘的迦絺那衣收回是以心念决断为终。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino vippakatacīvaraṃ ādāya pakkamati. Tassa bahisīmagatassa evaṃ hoti – ‘‘nevimaṃ cīvaraṃ kāressaṃ, na paccessa’’nti. Tassa bhikkhuno sanniṭṭhānantiko kathinuddhāro.
24一位完成衣的比丘拿着未完成的衣离开了。他到界外后这样想:“我就在这里做这件衣,不回去了。”他便做那件衣。他正在做那件衣时,衣丢失了。这位比丘的迦絺那衣收回是以丢失为终。

199. Phāsuvihārapañcakaṃ
324一位已经完成展开迦絺那衣、安住于安稳生活中的比丘,拿了衣离开时心想:‘我将去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就返回。’他出了界之后,心里这样想:‘我就在这里完成这件衣吧,不回去了。’他便做了那件衣。对于这位比丘,迦絺那衣因衣的完成而收回。
Bhikkhu atthatakathino phāsuvihāriko cīvaraṃ ādāya pakkamati – ‘‘amukaṃ nāma āvāsaṃ gamissāmi; tattha me phāsu bhavissati vasissāmi, no ce me phāsu bhavissati, amukaṃ nāma āvāsaṃ gamissāmi; tattha me phāsu bhavissati vasissāmi , no ce me phāsu bhavissati, amukaṃ nāma āvāsaṃ gamissāmi; tattha me phāsu bhavissati vasissāmi, no ce me phāsu bhavissati, paccessa’’nti. Tassa bahisīmagatassa evaṃ hoti – ‘‘idhevimaṃ cīvaraṃ kāressaṃ, na paccessa’’nti. So taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. Tassa bhikkhuno niṭṭhānantiko kathinuddhāro.

115一位已经完成展开迦絺那衣、安住于安稳生活中的比丘,拿了衣离开时心想:‘我将去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就返回。’他出了界之后,心里这样想:‘我就在这里完成这件衣吧,不回去了。’他便做那件衣。正在做那件衣的时候,衣丢失了。对于这位比丘,迦絺那衣因衣的丢失而收回。

116一位已经完成展开迦絺那衣、安住于安稳生活中的比丘,拿了衣离开时心想:‘我将去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就返回。’他出了界之后,做了那件衣。衣做成后,他心里想着‘我要回去,我要回去’,却在界外拖延,错过了迦絺那衣收回的时机。对于这位比丘,迦絺那衣因越出界外而收回。

So bahisīmagato taṃ cīvaraṃ kāreti. So katacīvaro – ‘‘paccessaṃ paccessa’’nti bahiddhā kathinuddhāraṃ vītināmeti. Tassa bhikkhuno sīmātikkantiko kathinuddhāro.
117一位已经完成展开迦絺那衣、安住于安稳生活中的比丘,拿了衣离开时心想:‘我将去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就去某某住处;如果那里舒适,我就住下来;如果不舒适,我就返回。’他出了界之后,做了那件衣。衣做成后,他心里想着‘我要回去’,并且与比丘们一起完成了迦絺那衣的收回。对于这位比丘,迦絺那衣是与比丘们共同进行的收回。

325比丘们,迦絺那衣有两种障碍、两种非障碍。哪两种是迦絺那衣的障碍呢?住处障碍和衣的障碍。比丘们,怎样是住处障碍呢?比丘们,这里,一位比丘住在这个住处,或者带着想回来的期望离开,心想‘我要回去’。比丘们,这就是住处障碍。比丘们,怎样是衣的障碍呢?比丘们,这里,一位比丘的衣未完成,或者正在进行中还未做完,或者对衣的希望没有断除。比丘们,这就是衣的障碍。比丘们,这是迦絺那衣的两种障碍。
Dveme , bhikkhave, kathinassa palibodhā, dve apalibodhā. Katame ca, bhikkhave, dve kathinassa palibodhā? Āvāsapalibodho ca cīvarapalibodho ca. Kathañca, bhikkhave, āvāsapalibodho hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu vasati vā tasmiṃ āvāse, sāpekkho vā pakkamati ‘‘paccessa’’nti. Evaṃ kho, bhikkhave, āvāsapalibodho hoti. Kathañca, bhikkhave, cīvarapalibodho hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno cīvaraṃ akataṃ vā hoti vippakataṃ vā, cīvarāsā vā anupacchinnā. Evaṃ kho, bhikkhave, cīvarapalibodho hoti. Ime kho, bhikkhave, dve kathinassa palibodhā.
119比丘们,哪两种是迦絺那衣的非障碍呢?住处非障碍和衣的非障碍。比丘们,怎样是住处非障碍呢?比丘们,这里,一位比丘离开那个住处时,已经舍弃、已经吐出、已经放下,没有期待,心想‘我不回去了’。比丘们,这就是住处非障碍。比丘们,怎样是衣的非障碍呢?比丘们,这里,一位比丘的衣已经完成,或者丢失了,或者损坏了,或者烧毁了,或者对衣的希望已经断除。比丘们,这就是衣的非障碍。比丘们,这是迦絺那衣的两种非障碍。
Katame ca, bhikkhave, dve kathinassa apalibodhā? Āvāsaapalibodho ca cīvaraapalibodho ca. Kathañca, bhikkhave, āvāsaapalibodho hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu pakkamati tamhā āvāsā cattena vantena muttena anapekkho ‘‘na paccessa’’nti. Evaṃ kho, bhikkhave, āvāsaapalibodho hoti. Kathañca, bhikkhave, cīvaraapalibodho hoti? 120三十位从巴韦亚来的比丘,在沙给德住下,心里满是渴望;
Tiṃsa pāveyyakā bhikkhū, sāketukkaṇṭhitā vasuṃ;
121圆满度过雨季安居的他们,前去拜见胜利者。
Vassaṃvuṭṭhokapuṇṇehi, agamuṃ jinadassanaṃ.
122这便是迦絺那衣的事缘,并将开许五种利益。
Idaṃ vatthu kathinassa, kappissanti ca pañcakā;
123不告辞而行,不共同持守而行,同样还有众食。
Anāmantā asamācārā, tatheva gaṇabhojanaṃ.
124随意衣和那里生起的衣,都将归于他们所有。
Yāvadatthañca uppādo, atthatānaṃ bhavissati;
125通过白,既有如法展开,也有未展开的情形。
Ñatti evatthatañceva, evañceva anatthataṃ.
126划线、洗涤、审查,以及裁剪。
Ullikhi dhovanā ceva, vicāraṇañca chedanaṃ;
127缝合、滚边、搓揉、加固,和顺纹处理。
Bandhano vaṭṭi kaṇḍusa, daḷhīkammānuvātikā.
128镶边、浸湿、捶打、谈论标记,这些工序。
Paribhaṇḍaṃ ovaddheyyaṃ, maddanā nimittaṃ kathā;
129未经染色、有存放、应捨,而那三种未经许可的除外。
Kukku sannidhi nissaggi, na kappaññatra te tayo.
130除了超过五者,有裁割且带有圈饰;

134无相、无谈论,未经染色,且无存放;

135无捨、已预作,同样关于三衣。

136若为五者、或超过五者,已裁割、已作圈饰;

140听闻、期望断绝、界,以及第八种的共取消。
Savanaṃ āsāvacchedi, sīmā sahubbhāraṭṭhamī;
141他拿了已做好的衣,心想‘我不回来了’,就这么走了。
Katacīvaramādāya, ‘‘na paccessa’’nti gacchati.
142对他来说,这就是以离去为边际的迦絺那衣取消。
Tassa taṃ kathinuddhārā,e hoti pakkamanantiko;
143他拿着衣,走到了界外时,心中这样想:
Ādāya cīvaraṃ yāti, nissīme idaṃ cintayi.
144‘我将在界外完成它,不再回来了。’就在完成时,迦絺那衣被取消。
‘‘Kāressaṃ na paccessa’’nti, niṭṭhāne kathinuddhāro;
145他拿着衣离开住所范围,并且心意导向是“不再回来”。
Ādāya nissīmaṃ neva, ‘‘na paccessa’’nti mānaso.
146对于他,那迦絺那衣的收回,是以决断为终;
Tassa taṃ kathinuddhāro, sanniṭṭhānantiko bhave;
147他拿着衣离开,在住所范围外,这样想:
Ādāya cīvaraṃ yāti, nissīme idaṃ cintayi.
148“我将完成它,不再回来”,他那未完成的衣会丢失;
‘‘Kāressaṃ na paccessa’’nti, kayiraṃ tassa nassati;
149对于他,那迦絺那衣的收回,是以丢失为终。
Tassa taṃ kathinuddhāro, bhavati nāsanantiko.
150他拿着衣离开,心意导向是“还会回来”,并在外完成那件衣;
Ādāya yāti ‘‘paccessaṃ’’, bahi kāreti cīvaraṃ;
151那已完成了衣的比丘,在那里听到:“僧团已经收回迦絺那衣了”。
Katacīvaro suṇāti, ubbhataṃ kathinaṃ tahiṃ.
152对于他,那迦絺那衣的收回,是以听闻为终;
Tassa taṃ kathinuddhāro, bhavati savanantiko;
153比丘拿着衣离开,心里想着'我还会回来',然后在界外制作那件衣。
Ādāya yāti ‘‘paccessaṃ’’, bahi kāreti cīvaraṃ.
154衣在界外完成了,他却生起了不再回来的心念,这样迦絺那衣法就舍弃了;
Katacīvaro bahiddhā, nāmeti kathinuddhāraṃ;
155对于这位比丘来说,迦絺那衣法的舍弃,是因为他越过了界区。
Tassa taṃ kathinuddhāro, sīmātikkantiko bhave.
156比丘拿着衣离开,心里想着'我还会回来',然后在界外制作那件衣;
Ādāya yāti ‘‘paccessaṃ’’, bahi kāreti cīvaraṃ;
157衣在界外完成了,他心里也还想着要回来,这样迦絺那衣法仍然是有效的。
Katacīvaro paccessaṃ, sambhoti kathinuddhāraṃ.
158对于这位比丘来说,迦絺那衣法的舍弃,是跟僧团一起进行的。
Tassa taṃ kathinuddhāro, saha bhikkhūhi jāyati;
159拿着衣离开或是受持衣而住,这七种、七种的离开方式,
Ādāya ca samādāya, satta-sattavidhā gati.
160并没有因'只是离开就断除'这回事。在衣未完成的六种情况中,那离开的方式是:
Pakkamanantikā natthi, chakke vippakate gati;
161带着衣材离开住处后,生起'我将制作'的心念。
Ādāya nissīmagataṃ, kāressaṃ iti jāyati.
162完成、确定完成、以及舍弃,这三种情况;
Niṭṭhānaṃ sanniṭṭhānañca, nāsanañca ime tayo;
163带着衣材,心想'我将不再返回',在界外制作。
Ādāya ‘‘na paccessa’’nti, bahisīme karomiti.
164完成、确定完成,以及舍弃,这也是三种情况;
Niṭṭhānaṃ sanniṭṭhānampi, nāsanampi idaṃ tayo;
165若未设定心念,则依后三种方式处理。
Anadhiṭṭhitena nevassa, heṭṭhā tīṇi nayāvidhi.
166带着衣材离去,心想'我将返回',在界外制作;
Ādāya yāti paccessaṃ, bahisīme karomiti;
167心想'我将不再返回'而制作,在完成时,迦絺那衣即被收回。
‘‘Na paccessa’’nti kāreti, niṭṭhāne kathinuddhāro.
168确定完成、舍弃、听闻,以及越过界线。
Sanniṭṭhānaṃ nāsanañca, savanasīmātikkamā;
169与比丘们一起,它会产生;去向会有十五种。
Saha bhikkhūhi jāyetha, evaṃ pannarasaṃ gati.
170受持之后、尚未完成的状态,受持之后又是如此;
Samādāya vippakatā, samādāya punā tathā;
171这是你那四种情况,全部具备十五种方式。
Ime te caturo vārā, sabbe pannarasavidhi.
172没有期待地、以及带着期待地,还有那三种应做的事;
Anāsāya ca āsāya, karaṇīyo ca te tayo;
173应当从方法上了知它,三种情况各别有十二种、十二种。
Nayato taṃ vijāneyya, tayo dvādasa dvādasa.
174在此处,凋谢的并非这九种,在那里的安乐有五种;
Apavilānā navettha , phāsu pañcavidhā tahiṃ;
175障碍与非障碍,摄颂是依方法而作。
